Mohnish Pabrai often known as the Indian Warren Buffett has beat the market well and truly over the past 18 years of running his investing firm. Let's go over the key rules on how he did it...
    __________________________________
Mohnish Pabrai, often known as the Indian Warren Buffett has achieved an annual average return of 25.7% over the past 18 years. The way he invests according to forbes is, he has no interest in a company that looks 10% undervalued. He is angling to make five times his money in a few years. If he doesn’t think the opportunity is blindingly obvious, he passes.
Now this strategy works. Between 2000 & 2018 the assets that he’s invested has gone up over 900%, resulting in him managing more than $600 million dollars. So how did Pabrai do it? How did he dominate most investors who were struggling to get a 10% annual return, yet alone a 25% one.
I’m going to show you a couple of principles that Pabrai sticks to in order to achieve these results. Now keep in mind that if you follow these you are not guaranteed to get the same return as him. But they are likely to help improve your investing so that you can hopefully get better results…

This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.

    4. No short-selling

    - Can this business be decimated by a low-cost country?

*One genuine extra tip:* Most of these people who worth millions have good funds to start with. People can quote Warren Buffett everytime, as he made Billions from nothing. But that was the period he was in back then. Stock market back then was not a calculated investment. It was more of a gamble to 99% of people. Warren Buffett learnt that it was not true and he invested safely by properly learning the game where everyone are stupid investors. 2021 is not 1950's. So, you cannot make billions or millions from nothing. The only way for a commoner to gain profit is to wait and keep waiting. The best way to earn is to earn direct compensation via employment, businesses, land, online classes etc and not by investing your own money. There is no real magic to riches.

Your comment on not being able to sit in a room alone and do nothing. I have lost money on this principle when I started because the work world had so drummed into my mind that if you are not busy you get fired. I now wait and have two IPO shares I am being patient on. One is ABWN a new form of internet set to launch soon an dirt cheap on the OTC. Another one is KGET a company that has other interests but is developing a cannibus coffee. I have shares in both waiting for good things. Great video by the way.

The flaw in the first strategy is that the big investors has already invested their money in the stocks of their choice. By the time it comes out in the report, the stock price might be inflated already. Sure, we can still get a position but the upside might be limited. Just simply dollar cost average, let the compounding do the magic.

    I love your videos, mate.
But I do have several issues with this one.
The first point Monish makes seems kind of weak to me. Those 13-F-filings are getting published several months after those successful investors have made their investment-decisions. Expecting those investors to perform as well in the future as they did in the past is another critical point, just look at Buffett or Dalio for example, they haven't beaten the market for quite a long time now. Also, just as Buffett famously mentions he finds himself in utterly different circumstances than small investors regarding the billions of dollars that he and Munger manage. So investments that are good for them might be mediocre for small investors.
Moreover, I'd like to hear Monish elaborate on what's the exact criteria to avoid companies which could be supplanted by low-cost competition from China.

Maximum upside of a short is not double (i.e., 100%), but infinite, because the upfront investment is zero. If you make even a penny, you got an infinite return, percent-wise. But the most you can make in terms of dollars is the share price you shorted it at while the downside is infinite in dollar terms. My p0rtfolio is plummeting significantly, I’ve lost about $320k within a few months and I'm not confident about picking st0cks anymore. Are there really no other options for me to gain from the stock market?

Well the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward and such impeccable decisions are better guided by professionals.

Very true. Despite having no prior investing knowledge, I started investing before the pandemic and pulled in a profit of approximately $950k that same year. In reality, all I was doing was getting professional advice.

      >There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with Nicole Desiree Simon , and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her

Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.

Great video. I started watching your videos last year as a beginner and it's a great gratitude for now l understand that Bitcoin is more than buying and selling before giving market a trial. I was able to make $43,000 with a capital of $9,000 trading with an legit guidance who guided me through out.

Despite the fact that I take glory for the achievement, I have to tell you, I was guided by Expert Mrs Jennifer Fan a broker I found through a news blog. She is the mastermind behind it and I am so grateful.
