Wouldnt it be more cooler if they use the microphones on their heads as a power amplifier? I mean what use are those on their heads then? Its better if it can be used as a supersonic voice and power amplifier
I agree! In the anime, they need the microphones to active the sailor change star and only then they can transform. In the manga it doesnt have a pourpose

Three Starlights stand in different directions with Kakyuu in the center holding a special fragrant flower(might be in the shape like a karaoke). The way they invoked the name of the power is in a very powerful and energetic sing-song way. And Kakyuu's flower dispersed like dandelions. Enemies jumping like fans in a concert and....died/healed
