    The Tiger likes the lady rubbing his back, but he's secretly planning to eat the annoying little guy with the stick.

    Tiger petting is a widely abused thing in Thailand and nearby countries. You can get a tiger you know to behave like any cat, but tigers are actually among the most dangerous animals, and the only way to pet a tiger safely is to drug it (notice that even house cats can be unpredictable, but it rarely matters because of their small size). So this activity is either unsafe or the tiger is drugged.

    He's not waving the stick in his face he's tapping the tiger on the head with it. It's how they train them to stay in line. They beat them with the sticks from a very young age so they learn to become afraid of anyone who has one. So the keepers tap them in the face so they will stay in check. It's basically a warning to behave or they will be beaten.

    • @jayjay86443

      But what if they revert to their primal nature? See, it's stuff like this in which I think people are brave, but completely ignorant about how dangerous this could get.
      I mean, I LOVE tigers! But I know just being around one will scare the shit out of me (See, they're almost as big as bears, but with the capabilities of being agile and flexible, pouncing their prey). It would be a dream for me to pet a tiger, but I know that's only a pipe dream, as they always have a hidden instinct of going feral and slicing things.

    • @DeathShouldTakeMeNow
      @DeathShouldTakeMeNow 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      jayjay86443 It can happen. There's plenty of videos of trainers getting mauled by their tigers, most famous being Siegfried and Roy. And I agree I would probably be shitting bricks if I ever got the chance to get anywhere near a tiger to pet him just because I know he can crush my skull with a single bite or break my ribcage with a single swipe of its paw.

      What flinching, you're seeing things, probably because of the negative info out there stating what can be and sometimes is done to keep the tigers in check, wasn't electric bark collars a thing till recently, I'm sure whatever was done to her wasn't too bad, she seemed to enjoy the belly rubs, and even though he moved the stick in front of her face she MOVED HER FACE TOWARDS HIS POCKET, I'm sure an abused animal does not do that especially after being "scared" by a stick which she was apparently "abused with", given we are the dominant species ... the other animals better learn to work with us.... or go extinct

IF THE ONLY THING YOU KNOW ABOUT CAPTIVE ANIMALS IS THAT THEY ALL GET “ABUSED” BY THE TRAINERS YOU NEED TO DO MORE RESEARCH, BRO.

    Let's be real here. You are not going to achieve this level of friendliness towards humans without either drugs or very VERY strict training.
    We all know how dangerous even some dogs can be, both for humans and other dogs, if not given the right treatment and training. Now imagine the training and attention required to make an animal that is solitary by nature and genetically still a wild animal behave like this.
    Best case scenario is that the stick will be used to discipline the tigers when they misbehave, but it WILL be used.
    You can't seriously believe that love and attention are the only things required to reliably achieve this behavior.

      @@reaver8338 if they go exciting than all herbivores they eat multiply, the more they multiply the more crops they eat, the more crops they eat, the less food we have, the less food we have, the more our species goes extinct. It’s a never ending chain of either pain or health. The reason why they are in captivity is because of that very reason. Plus if it is in captivity it’s one of 4 things, either it struggling badly in the wild, it’s mother was offed by poachers or farmers, the mother was taken in at young age as well and gave birth there or it was hauled in and taken hostage. Not always just yoinking them out of their natural habitat for appeal and green paper

      Cats are predator and prey at the same time thats why they are scared of showing their weak points, tiger is a top predator with no counter in the wild im guessing they just dont give a shit

      Camitooth Aj how? They're endangered, so there's no harm in keeping them in captivity, but there is that disease where they can't digest food because of some reason, but keeping them in captivity is increasing the numbers
