“Why did no one suspect Scar?” I’m pretty sure Zazu was the only one to suspect him, aside from Mufasa who just gave Scar a pass because he was like family to him. Zazu says to Mufasa “…we both know he should’ve been expelled from the Pride Lands long ago.” That implies Zazu was aware of Scar’s shady nature.
I’ve been a lifelong fan of The Lion King and it’s one of those movies that I can watch a dozen times a month and NEVER get bored of (it’s one of my top 3 all time favorite Disney classics) and yet hearing these unanswered questions this video brought up makes me realize just how much stuff from this timeless classic STILL went over my head even in my early 30s! Funny how you never notice these things until someone else points them out!
That "Everything the light touches" saying is just the movie saying: beware of shady people. The shadowy elephant graveyard was home to shady hyenas & Scar lived in the pride lands as King Mufasa's brother but he never came out in the sunlight
This will be interesting because I always thought Mufasa was the older brother but it could be that Scar could be the oldest aside being jilted and angry.
@TruthBeTold6573 thanks for clearing that up, I was only assuming because yes, 1994 and 2019 did make it clear however just from the resent trailer of the prequel it looks like they could have been the same age or Scar could be the oldest despite his physical stature in both films.
I’m pretty sure in Mufasa: The Lion King, all these answers will be answered. Especially the relationship Scar and Mufasa had before everything changed, and how Mufasa became the king we all know.
I think it will be revealed that orphaned Mufasa is taken in by Taka’s pride but Taka’s pride is wiped out by the rival pride and Mufasa and Taka have to start their own pride which leads to Mufasa being the king. This makes the most sense since in the trailer Mufasa and Taka disagree about if they should run away or fight.
Kion is in this movie, there’s a short clip of Kiara talking to a young cub which presumably could be Kion. We need Mufasa: TLK based on the books, theories and lore 😭
If i remember correctly, literally the whole reason for the creation of their characters and even the song Sisi Ni Sawa was to portray that not all hyenas were bad
in the 2019 u can actually notice scar getting even more annoyed as the film goes on if u look closely at some of his eyes or looks he gives when mufasa or simba are talking
Really wish they'd make an animated fantasy musical film with humans set in an African setting. I'd love a "10 cultures Disney should explore for a musical" video!
Here’s a couple of questions I hope gets answered in the prequel. 1. Is Kiros’ (the white lion villain of the movie) name pronounced Key-Ros or Ky-Ros? 2. Did Kiros also contribute to Taka becoming Scar?
😡Maybe they'll first answer why in the more superior OG animated Lion King, they referenced Mufasa & Scar's BLOODLINE RELATION a number of times!!!! And yet somebody stupid in Disney is trying to push that they're adoptive brothers 😤
Who is Nala's father? I've always thought it was another lion besides Mufasa or Scar (to remove the incest factor of the story), but seeing Sarafina with an actual mate will hopefully put to rest the big rumour. I wonder if one of the Outsiders could even be her father, considering her lighter colour? Maybe if the Outsiders are still around, perhaps Kovu will make an appearance in the present time?
I just wish this movie was animated like the original. I don’t think it makes sense for this to be the continuity of both the original franchise and the 2019 remake.
I tried watching The Lion Guard once, but I got bored with it and stopped halfway through Season 1. After seeing this video, I think I should give it another chance
I did stay interested from the Trailers, because I have a feeling Mufasa will probably be loosely inspired by The Bible’s Book of Exodus, in terms of Moses and Ramses.
I think if this was animated. The Story will mix of what we see in the upcoming film mixed with elements from the Lion Guard. Although, the only change would be If Mufasa was the Heir and Scar was the Orphan rather than the other way around.
Tho it would be hilarious if they wrote a story about actual lions. As there would be a lot of gray area that Disney would frown upon if they really went through the whole story with biologists
I think that after watching this movie we will understand why Scar was the way it was and why he killed Mufasa. I'm not saying that I approve his behavior, but I am not on Mufasa's side either.
They're both in the wrong if we take lion guard as canon. Kinda like in the tangled series when they did Cassandra's villain arc. Yes Cassandra was in the wrong but let's not act like Rapunzel was friend of the year. Scar was wrong for murdering Mufasa, but Mufasa maybe could have treated Scar a little better as well.
8:43 "He mocks him and slaps him with the nickname." That's a bit of an exaggeration of the events. It was just a dismissive pat on the head. That doesn't automatically imply Mufasa was being malicious. 😗
Well no, but it's still not a good look that he didn't show a little bit of sympathy for his brother just being in danger or acknowledge that Scar stopped a possible uprising thus protecting the kingdom.
Answer? What the hell could this CG-Eyesore possibly answer that 1. We'd NEED it to answer? and 2. How would it even matter? The CG-Eyesore remakes aren't canon to the original animated ones, nothing established in them would effect the original ones' universe. Nothing this movie "answers" about The Lion King will have any effect on anything but the remake version. Sorry, Ms Mojo, but this list was an absolute waste if your Time and that of anyone who chooses to watch it

Que Passaaa MuuuFaaaSaaa 😂😅😊
Rest in Peace, James Earl Jones. It won't be the same without him voicing Mufasa's, but hopefully Aaron Pierre will be just as great.
Let's not forget his co star's, Robert Guillaume and Madge Sinclair.
The movie starts with an homage to the late James Earl Jones.

How do you know?
who voiced Mufasa in "the Lion Guard"?

"The Lion King" franchise was my childhood! And i'm so excited to see what drove Scar down this dark path.
R.I.P James Earl Jones, the One True King❤

2:20 why do people get so upset over hyenas portrayed as evil yet don't give two shakes over eels and weasles being portrayed negatively too
Can't wait for this and Sonic 3 this week!
two movies for dec 20 cool im also exicted for minecraft remake and zootopia 2 and bad guys 2 lol 😂
@@ackgamer7126 When does Bad Guys 2 come out? I'm excited for that as well.
7:51 I thought the moment Scar turned on Mufasa was when Simba was born and he became second in line.
That "Everything the light touches" saying is just the movie saying: beware of shady people. The shadowy elephant graveyard was home to shady hyenas & Scar lived in the pride lands as King Mufasa's brother but he never came out in the sunlight
I've never been this early I think the reason for 6# is that Mufusa and Scar were once really close like the trailer impiles
Normally I hate watching videos like this because all the questions would hurt my brain but for this I have to agree.
This will be interesting because I always thought Mufasa was the older brother but it could be that Scar could be the oldest aside being jilted and angry.
No
Mufasa is older than Scar
Scar even said that himself in both the 1994 movie and the 2019 movie.
@TruthBeTold6573 thanks for clearing that up, I was only assuming because yes, 1994 and 2019 did make it clear however just from the resent trailer of the prequel it looks like they could have been the same age or Scar could be the oldest despite his physical stature in both films.
I wonder if Braelyn Rankins, who plays Young Mufasa, is older than Theo Somolu? He certainly sounds older.
@@emillyhale7557 could be, in some shows older actors/actress play younger character roles in shows and movies and vice versa.
@audreycollins2676 True. It was certainly the case in Trolls Band Together.
I’m pretty sure in Mufasa: The Lion King, all these answers will be answered. Especially the relationship Scar and Mufasa had before everything changed, and how Mufasa became the king we all know.

I 'm thinking Sarabi is royalty too
@@mollyshaj.3888Sarabi’s father is probably king of another pride that Kiros attacked. We will see in a few days when the movie comes out. 👍
I don’t remember the 🦁👑mentioning mufasa being adopted
It’s too difficult coming up with (good) new ideas so they take an old IP, tweak a few things and pretend it’s new. Lazier than a sleepy bulldog 😑😑😑
That's because the "New movie" story's made up
I really want the lion guard to be canonised in this movie but I doubt it will be
Kion is in this movie, there’s a short clip of Kiara talking to a young cub which presumably could be Kion. We need Mufasa: TLK based on the books, theories and lore 😭
Eww
Why would you want that dumb show to be canon?! It's so lame, corny & it makes no sense it ruins the franchise.
@mrzgaming9437
How do you know that new baby cub is Kion?
I'd be happy if lion guard wasn't canonised. I'm not really a fan of the show.
Not all Hyenas are evil what about Jasiri, Madoa and the rest of their clan? Or Asante from the lion king 6 new adventures?
If i remember correctly, literally the whole reason for the creation of their characters and even the song Sisi Ni Sawa was to portray that not all hyenas were bad

That first part isnt possible.
Really wish they'd make an animated fantasy musical film with humans set in an African setting. I'd love a "10 cultures Disney should explore for a musical" video!
In real life lion prides, there is one adult male and one adult male only. So in real life Simla and Nala would be half-siblings.
I'm actually curious about those questions once the movie comes out
Here’s a couple of questions I hope gets answered in the prequel.
1. Is Kiros’ (the white lion villain of the movie) name pronounced Key-Ros or Ky-Ros?
2. Did Kiros also contribute to Taka becoming Scar?
Number 1: Why did Disney think making this was a good idea?
I'm guessing how much $$$ each of their other live action remakes made
Cause it clearly lost it's magic... :(
😡Maybe they'll first answer why in the more superior OG animated Lion King, they referenced Mufasa & Scar's BLOODLINE RELATION a number of times!!!! And yet somebody stupid in Disney is trying to push that they're adoptive brothers 😤
In the original they always were brothers. The adopted storyline is a disgrace
Umm because this is a prequel to the 2019 version and there is no mention of blood relation. Get over it
Who is Nala's father? I've always thought it was another lion besides Mufasa or Scar (to remove the incest factor of the story), but seeing Sarafina with an actual mate will hopefully put to rest the big rumour. Happy monday afternoon, Emily, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
In Mufasa the Lion King, the Outsider lion pride enters but their leader is a male lion named "Kiros". Not the lioness Zira.
If Kiros is Zira's father..
I wonder what would’ve happened if Simba had came back right after mufasa died ,I mean they couldn’t have made a cub king?
Well as his song says, he wanted to be king right away 😅
I tried watching The Lion Guard once, but I got bored with it and stopped halfway through Season 1. After seeing this video, I think I should give it another chance
11:06 The song slaps.🔥🔥🦁🦁
I'm also curious how Mufasa became the lion King we all know and love.

@@philipcalderon3208 now that's interesting...!

True

I think problem with hyenas will be in Mufasa sequel before Simba is born! This film about becoming king! Sequel can be about how he rules the kingdom
I'll only like the movie if we get a Scar villain origin story
I never thought the whole light touches thing was that deep because they're.. Lions. 😅
Maybe Mufasa and Scar's Dad was King before Mufasa was
I always wanted a BROTHER
I wonder if Nala’s father was one of the white lions in the film, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch?!
For almost every question, “why does this matter ?”
How’s this for one. To not exist and for Disney to come up with an original thought
Didn’t they say Lion Guard was not canon? It would’ve worked out but I’m not sure why they want to erase the lion guard
I cannot wait for Mufasa: The Lion King
I get it but, this type of analysis destroys the imagination and fantasy if an amazing tale. 😢
Can someone explain how Simba and Nala can mate? Aren't they brother and sister?
There’s a video that debunks the whole theory of Simba and Nala being siblings or cousins.
Think about real lions and how prides actually work
Real lions would probably do that
