Messi 25 goals this season (2 goals for Argentina and 23 for Barcelona). Crisitiano Ronaldo 22 goals ( 5 goals for Portugal and 17 for Real Madrid). Messi has played 1 game more, also Ronaldo had an injury that effected him 3 games for Real Madrid when he had stitches in his ankles.. when you watch Ronaldo for Portugal and Real Madrid he plays the same way and puts in match winning performances. while Messi for Argentina looks like a fish out of water. Funny thing was that he was asking for offside when Ronaldo scored a goal that was perfectly legal and after that Bosnia scored the 3-2 on offside position and also Bosnia scored the first goal on a stupid play by Coentrão when he touches the ball with his hand, but to be fair, he was pushed by the Bosnian player. The difference is that all Portugal goals are legal.
