subscribe! and let me know if you want me to play more games blindfolded -- its too fun :D
you should play majoras mask blindfolded
Bro what 💀
Yoo I’m a big fan of
Are you mentally okay?
How do you even achieve this
Imagine waiting thousands of years just to be killed by a blind link with electric rocks.
Lol
Being blind isn’t a excuse anymore, get to it
So pretty much Daredevil but switch electric rocks for his club stick thingy
@@Bleh-is-mehbru
He's a master swordsman for a reason
Im going to watch this blindfolded too. For the full experience
Good idea 💡 👏
I actually watched this while sewing, so I was looking down at my project most of the time. The description was so good I didn't need to look up much!
I fr put a sleepmask on and put on this vid in the background and it was a great nap 🔥

Minor Correction: *Hear.*
well thats one way to solve your collectors anxiety
If you can't see it, it's not there
@@IceYetiWins exactly
Imagine for a second this. You’re Ganondorf, the Demon King, you’ve been trapped under the ground for thousands of years, waiting for your return. Finally, you wake up, take over hyrule castle, spread your minions all over the kingdom, and lay wake for Link to return, so you can smite him, once and for all. And when he hops (literally) in, you start a fight with him while he’s blindfolded and moving like a crazy man. And he defeats you as the demon dragon and seals you away, presumably forever, while he continues to hop around places like he’s out of his mind. Just imagine that for a second.
I think you mean "lie in wait" as opposed to "lay wake". I think it got mixed up with "lay waste".
But also lol, ganondorf was probably like "and his sword arm will be all messed up hehe" and the twink runs back in blind with no shirt
@@SeveralGhost"Huh. Power move. Respect."
Bro I an and it gives me the shivers

I agree, Ganon has for sure been sealed away forever this time. No chance he ever shows up again.
he went from doing the Great Plateau blindfolded to the ENTIRETY of Tears of the Kingdom, huge props to him for all the memorization and skill
People really underestimate how great Mr Crow is at games.
WTH IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT? I BEAT TEARS OF THE KINGDOM WHILE DEAD? wait he might actually be able to do that....
Ganondorf: "I refuse to lose to a mere mortal, to a child!"
Link: -"I am also blind if you didn't notice."- "HUT!"
Strange how we always expect bad guys to insult their adversaries by calling them сhiIdren when they rarely are. It's like it's ingrained that our culture sees them as second class citizens.
@@xinpingdonohoe3978
More as in they are weaker than adults.
@@MaximeLafreniere433 okay. But then most of these villains are men, and women are weaker than men on average. Are there many who insult male protagonists by calling them women?
@@xinpingdonohoe3978
The difference between genders is not as big as the difference between an adult and a child, generally speaking. It's not as humiliating.
There are still a few cases where the villain insults based on gender, just not as frequent.
@@MaximeLafreniere433 ah, right. Then TWW Ganondorf really messed up somehow. He's meant to be wise, as well as strong.
I love how passionately he talks about what he is doing. That shows real dedication to something to like to do.
Same. Love when people are passionate about their hobbies and work.
That stuff with the shield being equipped/unequipped to determine whether it's an autosave or not is so smart, it never even occurred to me that that could be a potential problem
im slightly confused, considering he's blindfolded, what difference does it make other than to viewers/reviewers?
okay sorry nvm i thought about it for 2 more seconds
@@hawkkks you can pull the shield on or off and tell which it is by doing so
53:27 I think you’re being a lil hard on yourself Eric, I thought it was a good joke, I love your running bits like this, reminds me of “OH MY GOD ITS KING RHOAM”
Wdym he’s dead? I only know the Old Man/Santa

KING RHOAM BOSPHORAMUS HYRULE?!
Literally chat in on the joke and having fun with it as he's saying no one else finds it funny xD
KRBH??!
53:31 “nobody’s ever laughed at that joke but me” while chat goes WILD
well.. its not like he can see it LOL
I love how excited Crow is to talk about these things. like his a nerd for it, we're all nerds for something might as well be something you like. With how "weird" it is nowadays jus to have interests, seeing people genuinely happy to talk about something makes my soul happy.
I love how in the ending part where Eric is trying to catch Zelda there isn’t any commentary or voice over, it’s just Link diving to catch Zelda, it actually captures the emotion of catching her for the first time playing ToTK in such a different way and I love it. Kudos to you Eric!
Bro imagine you’re Ganondorf and you’re waiting in the boss chamber and Link walks in blindfolded and immediately kicks your ass anyway.
This video feels so different from most of the main channel videos but in the best way possible, it feels so genuine and also as someone who Im relatively sure has spacial sequence synesthesia, its super cool to hear you talk about your experience with it :3
And also yeah I get the whole hard to explain thing like it makes so much sense and feels so natural internally that its so weird to try to put words to it, and at least with me it always feels like I cant explain it in a way thats like fully accurate
the fact that you have synesthesia adds a lot of context to how baffling the great plateau explanation was. i was completely lost when you were explaining your memorisation system, but i dont have synesthesia, so ofc it didnt translate to me.
that all aside, this run is super fascinating, and ive enjoyed it a lot! congrats on beating the game like this.
Love your profile picture. Whose art is that? Or did you make it yourself?
@strawzulusansundertalehorr7624 hey, it's not mine. i don't remember the artist off the topvof my head and im not in a place to search. sorry

No doubt pointcrow is a god gamer
PointCrow's favorite part of this speedrun is between 0:00:00 and 2:13:15
Same as the hardest segment of the run, it’s crazy ! /j
I personally prefer 0:00:01 to 2:13:15
I haven’t finished watching, I’m only at 56:06, but so far my favorite part is 0:00:00-56:06
Nah he doesn’t like that 1 second at 2:13:16
its really nice hearing you talk about synaesthesia. is someone with aphantaisa it was kinda big for me hearing you name drop it. in my experience almost nobody knows about these things, even to the point that google doesnt even autocorrect "aphantasia". all in all i hope your able to see it as a cool/unique thing about you like i do.
Yes, exactly! I was so excited when he mentioned aphantasia because of the sheer amount of times I've had to explain it from scratch to people. I still remember the moment I found out that other people could actually visualize things, I had always thought it was like a figure of speech or something
From learning the route to practicing to memorizing to attempting to adjusting, you’ve gone through quite the journey. Super proud of you 💪
Holy shit, another pointcrow drop, let’s go. Just as I got back to his channel too and watched his older videos.
literally same, I was just watching his flooded hyrule vod when I saw he dropped a video. happy :)
Oh god I feel you on the fearing other people’s colours will mix with yours 😂
I didn’t realize I had anything weird for the longest time, because my best friend as a kid had the same thing. We used to get into silly fights about which colours each weekday or letter was, so I just figured it was normal lmao. And then I mentioned the colour of a letter at some point to other friends and they were like ‘yeah you’ve got synesthetia’. And I was like ah. I see. That’s not normal then.
Wednesday is definitely green
@@TaxFraudTimmy69i don’t have synesthesia but to me it was always orange lol
Thursday is Definelty green Wednesday feels like an orange
I also think of weds day as a reddish orange
??? Wednesday is sky blue.
2 minutes in and I already eeally like this new style of voiceover. I like how calmer it it
Eric so good at speedrunning he was buffed from birth
26:20 oh I’m not complaining. I like this unedited content. No distracting random subtitles. I like it.
Uncut, not unedited
I knew a guy with synesthesia many years ago. His was auditory. He also described it as sounds having a certain "color" in his mind. Like smooth jazz sounds more blue, or rock and metal has a warmer yellows and reds (I'm making up the colors because I forgot the actual examples he gave). It was really interesting to hear about, even though I'm sure kid me annoyed the crap out of him with dumb questions.
Years later, I was diagnosed ADHD and realized most people don't really experience life quite like I do cause they have more dopamine receptors or something. It's really interesting how little changes to the brain's physiology can dramatically alter how we perceive the world. Not to mention we're finding out those kinds of variances are more and more common. Thanks for opening up and teaching me more about synesthesia!
I don’t remember what it’s called and I’m too lazy to look it up but I have a condition where I can’t visualize anything. It’s just blank.
So hearing how everyone else perceives sounds is really interesting to me.
Holy I didn't even know you accomplished this. INSANE
You’d have to know so much about this game to be able to do this.
About synesthesia : a friend of mine decided to memorise pi. Not whole obviously, but a good 20 ish numbers. He tried to explain to me how, and basically it's like a story because he naturally links numbers with vibes and colors. Like, "a litle chick climbs up a tree and eat a sweet" because nine is yellow, six is green and eight is sweet, for exemple. I find it wild, but cool
Anyone can do 20ish. I did 60ish just by reading and reciting it from a book over and over.
And yes, obviously not whole as a decimal expansion. In that form, we can't know the exact form it takes. You can know exactly how it is in other forms though.
4-4/3+4/5-4/7+4/9-4/11+...
That's π, and we know every detail about this series, given that it has a clear pattern.
@xinpingdonohoe3978 Missed OP's point gg. It's not about how the friend memorized the most ever decimals of pi, it's about the synesthesia
Very neat story tho, OP. Such an interesting way to memorize something
@@lrose5522 but it's irrespective of the synesthesia. It's just memorising numbers. I thought the stories would take forms that focus on it. I was with some bоу, and he said we should write animals in the colours that they are. For example, lion was light blue. Obviously I wasn't able to do it, because I didn't know which colours were mapped to each animal in his head.
I have 63 digits of pi memorized, I just memorized the numbers, no real strategy.
This is such an amazing video because seeing people give strategy breakdowns for these kind of runs is absolutely amazing for the community. Videos like these can genuinely inspire people from outside the blindfolded-run community to join and discover new strategies on their own. Blindfolded runs are a celebration of community passion, collaboration, and the everlasting chase to push the human limit. They should never be narcissistic circle-jerks to prove that you're just better than everyone else.
This is SUPER interesting. Speedrunner strats never cease to fascinate me.
My favorite part of the video was actually the part where you talked about your synesthesia-I must’ve missed the other video and any streams where you talked about it, so this was my first time learning about it. Was really cool to hear you explain it, I was already familiar with the condition but it was cool to hear how it works for you. Appreciated the honesty.
You are a very good speaker. It’s impressive to talk this long continuously with pure information and very little stuttering or whatever.
your joy at the end was absolutely contagious i was punching the air and screaming and losing my mind
You know its a good day when pointcrow remembers he has a youtube channel

Gotta say your videos like this where you do a long commentation and explanation over one of your runs, are EASILY one of your best. The effort can really be seen, and the videos themselves are always just such a big ole blast to watch.
They take alot of time, but it's really impressive. Thanks for making these!
I caught bits and pieces of the streams for this and it was insanity, love to see it's finally completed can't wait to watch this
I'm gonna say it. Eric, you're actually insane. I would've never even tried to attempt that kind of thing. AND YOU BEAT THE GAME THIS WAY. That is just mind-blowingly impressive!
love your blindfolded vids and the explanations, literally cheered outloud when saw this vid cant wait to watch, please make more :)
This is probably the most PointCrow type of thing I have ever seen😂
I mean, he didn’t.
The day you completed this was my final’s day. I cheered so loud when you completed it my sister thought I finished my finals…
This is crazy! Keep up the good work!
It was just insane to see the progression of how much better he got at this through the different livestreams
Wow super good work on this run yay!!!!
Also very proud of you for opening up about your synesthesia. We get people saying dumb stuff like "ohh you just associate the two" without actually understanding how your brain works, so me and my headmates hope you don't get any rude comments like that:)

This is awesome! I’ve been curious about this run, so having you explain it with the visual reference is great!
Aside of the absolute amazing video and feat that is beating it blindfolded, hearing pointcrow talk so passionately about it all is so so cool. i appreciate him talking and opening up about his synesthesia and how it in a way aided him with this achievement. Great video and congrats on the speedrun!
Your explanation of synesthesia was a lot different from how I typically heard people talk about "seeing sounds" or "tasting colors", and color-graphing is exactly how I'd always thought about numbers and letters. So I looked some stuff up and, yep...an approximated 20% of autistic people have some form of synesthesia. Thank you, PointCrow, for helping me discover yet another one of the attachments that comes with my autism :P
Really?,i was literally thinking about how his explanation made since and was like"that's probably because of my autism"
FINALLY MORE POINTCROW TOTK CONTENT!!
"I've come to defeat you, ganondorf!"
"First off, you're facing the wrong direction, second why are you wearing a blindfold?"
"Shut up"
Well done! You’ve come so far since the beginning of the game, and it feels like yesterday when I was watching your lives while exploring the depths. I hope you enjoyed this game and this specific play through, because I sure did enjoy watching it!
The pointcrow magnum opus
Now do it Pantsless 🔥
This is amazing crow! So many streams to practice, but you finally did it, and it was all worth it in the end. Congrats!
OMG, congrats on finishing this!! I remember tuning into some of your streams where you were still trying to master the Great Sky Island, figuring out what sound cues to listen for and exactly how many hops to take. The progress is insane!!!

Great job Pointcrow! MAN YOUR A LEGEND
Thanks for opening up about your synesthesia mate, it makes me feel less alone. I am a musician and see colours for every note on a piano, guitar, etc (any pitched instrument.) I found out when I was 16, and felt so alienated that nobody else I knew experenced music the same way I do. I think only 2-4% of people have it. It's so comforting that someone I look up to has what I have. Being vulnerable is brave. Thank you Pointcrow.
Saw this on stream the other day, actually feels unreal it got uploaded
Damn, two hours, gotta break out the popcorn for this one
lol yeah
The commentary ontop of blindfolded game play is kinda unique and adds so much! The explainations, nerd outs and random facts are so quaint and super helpful for someone like me who has almost no clue as to whats happening, and needs to go back a few times to see how you did things. It really highlights the skill required to do this to thoes who have never tried. It's also nice to see you so passionate about this. I felt like I was taken on an epic adventure, thanks PointCrow. Best Streamtuber.
actually incredible.
i enjoyed watching the entire run. and your explanations to everything were so good and interesting.
oh man im still hyped!!!!
Nobody can beat this guys content and dedication! Keep it up!

Eric, this was a fantastic and extremely well put-together video. The commentary style works great for explaining a speed run (especially TOTK blindfolded lol) and reminds me more of your streams, which is a nice change of pace from the usual edited videos on the main channel. Would love to see more of these kinds of videos!!
Amazing run! Must have taken forever to practice! It was super cool to hear about your synesthesia too, I love hearing about how other people think!

I love this long format videos of you explaning everything in detail, so interesting and fun!
Absolutely loving the commentary, Crow! You did an excellelent job of being both informative and entertaining.
Hi also fun fact if you dont read this comment you didn't read it.
i’m not done w this video but i’m really enjoying it. i’ve really enjoyed a lot of pointcrow’s content over the years but this one especially is really nice. i love breakdowns of techniques on videos of complicated speedruns, but the casualness of this one is especially enjoyable. it really feels like just hanging out and listening to someone talk about something they’re excited abt, which is always nice. i’ve had this on while i’ve been drawing, and it’s helped me get some really good work done. thanks pcrow for the great stuff. :)
ok finished. he beat the game blindfolded faster than i can do it normally LOL
Love this video format ! Really hopin' to see more of it in the future !
Cool stuff! I enjoyed the long video and the explanations, although I had to stop and come back over several days to fully watch it.
This was such a cool and fun video to watch, and let me start by saying, EXCELLENT JOB on beating this run blindfolded! Such an incredible feat to be able to do this blindfolded. Congrats on doing demon dragon first try as well and saving that Zelda catch at the end!
I also want to thank you for sharing a little bit about yourself halfway through the run with the topic of how you memorized the run and how your mind allows you to do that. I think that is super awesome that you can do that! I hope no one ever tells you anything to make you think otherwise. That is such a gift to have a mind that works the way yours does and that allows you to be able to do something like speedrun a game as large as TOTK blindfolded.
Thank you for being such a great content creator, I love watching your videos and love to watch you enjoy the things you do with such unmatched excitement. Always helps me escape from reality for a little while and just enjoy watching an amazing content creator playing an amazing game! Looking forward to the next beat feat in the gaming realm @PointCrow, stay awesome!
Awesome video PointCrow! I look forward to videos like this so much.
This video was really so good to watch. The cleverness needed in many different situations, realising how trivial elements could become so problematic blindfolded, everything felt like a giant puzzle in which sound, memory, tricks and experience were all useful.
Really it was a treat to follow !
Dude that Zelda dive was so intense it got my heart racing. Absolutely incredible work!
This was a really fun video to watch, if you end up doing more challenge runs like these please do a post run commentary like this!

i’ve been binge watching your botw challenges, i’m relieved to see that you’re doing totk challenges too!!
This video is already amazing in itself being a blindfolded run, but you talking about your synesthesia was even cooler. It's like you got a superpower. Thank you for sharing that about yourself, Crow!
Got emotional, almost cried at the end. You’re crazy
Amazing video, man! I can tell the passion you put into it. Thanks for sharing your talents with us :)
I remember you talking about your synesthesia in a past video and I was so curious to hear more. Thanks for opening up about it! Very fascinating stuff
The part about the spatial synesthesia blew my mind, like, i realized that I can't even imagine what you mean.
Your example of aphantasia vs non aphantasia was really good in making me understand how far away of a concept it is for my brain but the examples of how you conceptualize time completely broke my brain lol.
You've turned something that's already cool into an actual superhuman gaming ability.
That synesthesia talk in the middle is pretty cool. It's very interesting!
