The JBL GTO Stadium series are some great sounding speakers. I have 4 of the Stadium GTO860 6x8's in my car, theyre loud and crystal clear and have great mid bass. There rated for 100 rms and im running them with my sony mex-xb100bt head unit with a built in 40x4 rms at 4 ohm amp, and the speakers are 2.5 ohm so it makes the amp push out more power, and with only getting less than half of there power handling they still get loud. Once i get an amp to give them there full 100 rms, them bitches are gonna be screaming. If your looking to get speakers, youll be very satisfied with those, there very clear and crisp, with a sensitivity of 94db.
I'm getting ready to install two jbl GTO 6x9 and two pioneer 6.5 with a pioneer 4ch 520w amp into a Corolla. I think it will thump and scream, what you guys think?
Best sounding installation I have made was with 4 6×9 Kappas, 4 3.5 Kappas, 12 inch Kappa sub and Infinity 5 channel amp, fed by Audio Control pre amp. Studio sound in a car.
I have the Type-R’s right now and I’ve had them for about 4-5 years. I’m looking for new ones that sound louder and hit harder. Looking at the kicker Q class 6x9s and Skar and DC. I just don’t know witch ones to get that would be the best. I’m looking for the best. The KS series from kicker, ive heard they’re pretty much the best... not sure. Skar is very under rated so I even might try theirs because of the price.

I had typeS 6x9s coaxial forever then upgraded to typeR component and man what a difference. Spend the extra money. Trust me

That's what I'm looking for high power 6×9 watts 350 or 600 watts.
A lot or all of those are or have shallow woofers . hence flat bass sound . Cerwin Vega I feel are close to real as one can get .
