Awesome looking vintage bike. Kaplan is the king of vintage bikes. Speedo either needs a cable or rebuild to work - was not working in the video.

I had this same bike identical! Same year, color pipes everything super clean too no rust at all. I sold it to my neighbor dirt cheap that kept bugging me about it. What a big regret.. 12 years ago.

Gorgeous bike. She definitely runs well and is pretty quick. I have an electric guitar painted that same color, only it's called Candy Yellow.

This color and brown were the most popular colors in the 70's.

Owned Harleys 47 years. But I always said if I ever switched to another brand it would be a older 750 Honda. I rode a few of them that friends had. Smooth!! And in my opinion, at least back in the day, you couldn't find a more dependable bike. This 500 ,same thing. I always loved the look of these, and the exhaust pipes. Didn't like the kerker headers. But liked the stock pipes. Sounded good too!! The red 69 I think 750 was the one I liked. 👍

I knew a police detective in north jersey back in 87 who had that exact bike in his garage. But the exhausts were rotted out on both sides at the angle point where internal moisture settles. I should have bought it when he offered it to me 😔
