*Māgadh* was the birthplace of all 29 Buddha leaders of the Aryasangha (including Siddharth Gautama)
That’s why Gautama’s life was spent preaching in major centres like Varanasi, Kusinagar, Vaishali, etc
Today Lumbini is a part of Nepal
PS. Gautama spoke Māgadhi, which has turned into modern Māgahi and Bhojpuri

@@thekingofkings3388 shungas rose to power because Kshatriyas allowed them to. Let's just say many Kshatriyas were dissatisfied.
Bhumihars have become corrupt and forgotten the practice of brahamacharya and tapasya and the code of conduct according to dharm. Instead of heading the entire Hindu society together and removing the fake caste Ssytem imposed by British propaganda ( many Kshatriyas are OBC castes today ) they have themselves degraded and fallen and indulged in rapacious acts and violence towards innocents.
Their basic speech has faltered as well. Bhumihars are not most powerful. Other castes yadav, kurmi , kushwaha rule the roost now.
Bhumihars used to be the gurus of these castes and they became oppressors and adharmic During British era. If they had remained dharmic , they would have easily been revered by the society. But well
