And somehow your "awkward" opening are so delightfully authentic and YOU, and therefore are the most non-awkward thing ever...
3 vids in a week!? What'd we do to deserve this 🤩
Just rewatched all of your vids in 2 weeks straight! Your growth is amazing and you guys gave me soo much energy and motivation! Hope we'll get to meet some day! Greets from Romania!
Never realized just how much work you guys put into just editing the videos. Just makes my respect for you grow more and more! Loved this video, will be sure to use some of these tips next time I edit a video!
Just from the beginning of the video, the desaturated, gray look to the video is very eye catching and captivating.
Concerning time needed for a video from start to finish... when I worked in TV, years ago, we calculated 1 day per minute of video. 15min video = 15 days of work incl. research, shooting and editing. During edit, we calculated 1 hour per minute of footage for a final edit, not including rendering times and/or special fx. Just normal edit, basic music, nothing fancy. So yes, doing video stuff takes a lot of time. And I really appreciate the effort and quality of all your videos.
Thank you for sharing your process. Really eye-opening on how much work goes into video production.
This has never come in a more perfect timing for me! Learned so much here!
YES using your playlist now 100%!!!
This is so useful! Really clean and organized workflow and makes the editing process a lot easier.
This is amazing to see how much time you put into this! Sometimes I feel like my stuff takes so long
yes! i've been waiting for this one!
so much of effort... 15 hrs for editing. Worth applaud.... Thank you and keep Inspiring
I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THE IN AND OUT SHORTCUTS AND IT'S SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So true about how much goes into making a video. So many think it is a quick and easy process like they see the final product. Nothing is easy. Thanks for sharing this process. I feel more normal now. Good job.
I love this. Its so helpful especially how you organize your work before starting. thank you for doing this!!!
This was super helpful. Thank you for making this.
Thank you. Love to watch a pro at work...
Thank you so much for sharing your workflow! I'm new to video editing and I love learning easier ways to get it done!
Thanks for the workflow breakdown
Every time you say “again” ( agaaaaan ) I’m reminded you’re from the homeland. Love you guys.
I learned some amazing things here! Thanks so much for sharing these tricks!
Thanks Becki this has helped me to stay organized and speed up my work flow.
thank you so much !!! this video is gold
extremely solid and clear! Subscribed
Tip: make a premiere file with all the assets and sequence settings you use often already in the time line then just copy and rename that file each time you start another video.
I hate myself for this because I’ve been planning to do that for a year and still haven’t fml 🤦♂️
@@ArtyMars just do it
Super helpful video! Thank you Becki and Chris!
As always, I learned a lot today by watching this video! Been with you guys since the beginning and I absolutely LOVE the content you share with us!
Thanks for sticking around with us!!
Like your color grading a lot!
Very helpful vid - thanks Becki.
Greetings Becki & Chris! I am in the thick of learning Premiere Pro. This video is great for a newbie like me. I have been building my channel for just over 6 months and I subscribe to time-tested Channelers like you's guys! Plus you have a helicopter! Plus you're from Newfoundland! My sincere thanks for your help.
Extremely helpful with my own workflow. Thanks for this!
Yaaay! We’ve been waiting for this.
This is perfect timing! I'm travelling a bit this year to cover some events and I need to get more organized to not go INSANE!
THE BEST EXPLANATION FOR THE BASICS OF PREMIERE PRO! THANK YOU!!!!
Really awesome overview! Thanks for doing this!
WOW!! I love your format - this is just what I needed to move to to structuring my videos. Thank yo so much. Now to color grade - UGH!!!
I am changing to your style of Organisation and setup ..thanks great video
Big fan of your videos and your color grading. The black levels and grade on this video look amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I knew you put a lot of work into your videos, never knew it was THAT much work.. 17-21 hours editing per video.. WOW. But it certainly pays off. Your style rocks!
Great tutorial Becki!
i just love to watch your videos !
Thank you, we appreciate the effort you put in!
Great video and well put together! I LOVED it!
I’ve always wanted to make more videos and possibly start a channel. But the time they take and how slow my computer is has always made that difficult. Your videos are always very helpful with the technicals and towards the motivation!!
Fantastic video! Got a few good tips, thanks 😊
Yeees. Editing is hard work. Thanks for this bts. It's always great to see the master mind at work.
Also: editing the sounds and music on Audition is the best workflow ever.
Omg audition is fantastic!
This was super helpful
This is fantastic thanks a bunch

Here we go, definitely editing my work flow after this.
This is SO HELPFULL!!!
Dude this was sick, please do more of these, unbelievable helpfulness!!! Thank you, get your coffee!!
So glad it was helpful!
The tip about adding specific clips from your source video instead of just dumping the whole clip and chopping it later just blew my mind! I edit in Premiere Elements, so I'm not sure if I have this option yet, but I'm for sure going to find out!! Thank you!!
Great tips. Thank you.
Great vid, thanks.
Thanks! Super helpful!
Great breakdown!
Nice brakedown. You just motivated me to do more when it come to writing everything down. Lol! It do get crazy when you looking for that clip. Thanks for the motivation. By the way I love you guys Chanel and what you do. Thanks for being here.
I loved the channel from the 1st vlog ❤
I dig it! You left out the star wipe transitions though 😜
Nice to teach us!
Amazing video!
Great video. I am always amazed at dislikes on a video that someone is showing THIER way of editing.... its either you take their advice to use to help you in your editing ...or.....you dont....... no need to dislike it...... its just beyond me................................
Love you! ❤️
Thank you for this!!!! I just started using Premiere Pro so this was SUPER helpful!!!
Awesome Ash, glad to hear it!!
I learnt to separate the dialog from the rest of the audio from your previos "how I edit" and I just want to say big thanks, it made i huge difference in my audio!
So glad to hear it!
Liked and saved. Thank you
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Discovered ya'll yesterday, and have been watching your videos. Thanks for this one. It helped me on my first ever real estate video. I am still so very lost and my video isn't that great, but practice makes perfect!
Great video ! 😁
Lumetri panel on edit tab... Great tip. Thank you!
Whoo hoo I'm glad we match! Q and W are my most used keys when editing on the timeline. Saves plenty when cutting out the crap, just make sure you've got your music soundtrack locked or you'll slice it to shreds as well! Thanks Beckie.
Yessss. Just what I wanted to see. Thanks Becki. I’ve been watching all your videos this week! I can’t speak to camera. I can’t record myself , I probably have nothing of interest to say. It’s the one thing holding me Back from creating vlogs or a life online. That’s why I’m lying down watching you tube instead. 😖
Thanks so much!
Fun! I edit in a very similar way! Thanks for sharing what your process is like!
I appreciate this sooooooooo much!!!!!! 😁👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Hey! Long time watcher and I think first time commenter (is that even a word? lol). Thanks for this very insightful video and I'm honestly "happy" to hear how long it takes you to put together a video because I was starting to think I was taking wayyyyyy too long to do mine and I appreciate that even an expert like you it takes a long time too.
Thanks!!
Awesome video guys because of you my slow motion is on point now. I loved that video!
Yass! Awesome to hear!
Let's be honest, I had A DAY, got very little done and I'm just here to listen to Becki talk since I don't use premiere (yet anyway).
I used Final Cut Pro X, but enjoyed watching this. I got excited that you spoiled us with 2 videos this week ❤️
Once again I look forward to watch the bloopers 😂
Thank you for this!
I really don’t know much about shooting and editing so I only see a person who knows the stuff she is talking about 👏🏻
thanks for the help
Great video Becki! Love the tip for culling video, (using the "," key to send clips to the sequence).
That keyboard command is a game changer!
Thanks for this.
Thank you for including time stamps! Makes coming back later to utilize this video easier. :)
No problem!
That's a pretty slick workflow. I would maybe look at applying your LOG-REC709 conversion luts directly to the master clip for each video file, that way they apply to all the individual sections you use from each clip all at once. It saves having to have that 3rd adjustment layer and having to chop it up whenever your're cutting between cameras/clips.
Very helpful. Tx
I think my heads just exploded 😃😱 going to learn premier pro soon.....thanks becki this was really helpful ☺️x
A video I was not expecting on a Thursday from you, I did not think you should have Timmy's breakfast for the next day
Thank you 😍🖤
It was SO reassuring to hear you say that it takes you 15-25 hours total to produce/edit a video project! For awhile I thought I was slower than what others take to edit projects.
Thank you!
WE HAVE THE SAME PREMIERE SET UP & ORGANIZATION! This makes me so happy.
First video I've seen of ya'll (or you?) and wow thank you so much. I'm getting into editing and using Premier Pro and all that, and this video is a great introduction to the type of work I'm gonna need to get into. I actually understand most of it too! Definitely gonna check out your other videos
Beautiful Set 😍, Very helpful video 💯, also rode microphone works great
Always inspired and learning from you 🙏🏻
Thanks so much!!
About to watch... love your videos and more importantly ALL your style. You should do a “challenge video” of learning to edit on FCPX, that would be interesting to see.
