Drongo you said you don't usually cast the shorter games. But I actually love when you post a 10-15min video! It means I'll get to see a quick win by an incredible player 😊
Thank you so much for this. I am trying to get back into AOE4 and so far i was 1-6 ranked silver 1 and the first 2 games i used this in, i walked through a gold 1 and gold 2 player. You the man!!
I started playing Ranked today using this build order. Practiced it during the placement matches and had 3W 2L, it took me a couple matches to get right but I feel quite confident with it, and got to Gold II just now! This BO is really fun and quite effective if there’s no hard early game rush, so thanks for teaching us!
I love your vids bro - they're also super duper relaxing, you got some Aussie barbeque honey sauce relaxing speech, love it - would love to see some commented 2v2 matches maybe, that's all I've been playing, I find it more enjoyable idk y 😊
Against Ottoman, english, and mongol, i have been getting 50 wood at the very start before going to sheep, so that you can get the twoer up before they can push gold.
How is that working for you. I take about 4 of food during age up Nd then put the villagers out from tc to food yo even the numbers. Helps get the barracks and towers up early
I have been using this strat all summer long. I really only have been losing games based on not knowing all the counters. Last 2 minutes is totally underrated. MAA and French Knights.
Love your videos Drongo! Yet in this kind of strategy when I play a match Japanese vs Joan Dark in Conquer 1, they do full rush without stopping, never 2 TC. They just rush you like all in, win or die. So It's quite harder to do this strategy since by the time you get to age 3, they already have atleast 5-8 knights, 10-15 arches and 2-3 rams (min 9)... (I guess in all lower leagues this guide is more valuable) Also Puppypaw did lots of mistakes this game like early agression few seconds away from when It had to happen, and also his middle game was terrible, probaly guy was afk for some time, he is a good player, but his mid game was terrible...
Agreed. If they realize you are rushing castle they can build units and rams to attack you right when you age up to castle. This only works if you scout and see the opponent going 2TC or Castle. Also why didn’t Puppypaw attack the wood line?
what about vs early aggression where they can build rams before u can have some defense out? for example english camping outside and jumping in with rams after ur castle age up?
as a japanese main i can confirm this only works against slow civs or 2 TC, for feudal aggression you need to go Barracks and train Spears (against cav civs) or Samurai and some onna (against archer/ infanterie civs)
Great analysis, this will vastly improve my gameplay, thanks. What do you think about placing 6 yoshiro's into forges? That's a lot of free gold, plus relics.
Two weakness I’ve encountered are HRE’s burgrave rush and JD/ French mass knights that take out outposts. It’s a good strat. But don’t do what I did and follow to a tee. Goes without saying but be flexible. Went from plat to silver now at gold 🥴
I'm watching every single one of your video. I have to say, they are amazing but it's taking so much of my time. It's like a love hate situation 🙃 I will have to hide you to stop too much procrastination
Question from a beginner here :P If you build Kura house right next to TC like in this video, does 2 of free farms get denied, becouse of a place shortage? Or do they still spawn but next to TC sides?
Hey Drongo, thanks for the video, I was just wondering if i could be rude and ask you to make a excel style build order for this, kind of like some of your previous videos
one question, wouldn´t it be more effective to send 5 on sheep 1 on berries building a house, research tawara, then after it was finished send the vills from sheep to berries?
If I'm not mistaken berries are faster than sheep. On top of that sheep is a good idea to save in case there is a rush on your mill. He went to sheep because he had enough to get age 2 which is crucial to age as fast as possible for this trick while having the resources to upgrade when age 2 comes. On top of that he is minimizing bill movements across long areas
Yes that's what I'm saying this causes you to exhaust your sheep resources quicker. Dongo explains this between 4mins - 7mins. In a conqueror match these little things make a huge difference and can be make or break against a feudal rush.
Once you have the second wheelbarrow upgrade, you gather berries faster than sheep. The goal in alot of ways it to quickly take the berries once you get the upgrades necessary, so that you take advantage of that resource before you are under pressure, and then you can return to sheep under your TC once you may experience more pressure. I always stay on sheep until I minimally get Tawara, and then switch to berries as soon as the second is researching.
I am quite new to multi aoe 4. Level 44 player I bulit a tower against the english and they outranged the tower with longbows and destroyed it xd any ideas what went wrong? (I had units inside)
Actually i heavily disagree on your take to otp a civ to become better.. Of course in the short term you will habe better results doing it but challenging yourself by learning new civs, strategies, playstyles (and ways to counter them) is inevitable to really improve your gameplay to a high level. Look at beasty being at the top of the ladder basically playing every civ.
Beasty is also a pro with thousands of hours, the average player requires more fundamentals before than can easily take in all the new mechanics behind each civ, imo.
Beasty one tricked mongols for the first 2 months of the game. He himself highly recommends one tricking until you are at least diamond since you improve so much faster. I guess once you are at a high level then you should branch out
Yessss! Do more of these! More strategies, reviews and tips!
Drongo you said you don't usually cast the shorter games. But I actually love when you post a 10-15min video! It means I'll get to see a quick win by an incredible player 😊
Fully agree, would love to see more videos on the shorter side (~20 min)
You know what would be cool? A video of a quick rundown of every civ, their pros, cons, how to play with them and against them. Very general stuff.
Thank you so much for this. I am trying to get back into AOE4 and so far i was 1-6 ranked silver 1 and the first 2 games i used this in, i walked through a gold 1 and gold 2 player. You the man!!
this build order is so good man, 7-2 in ranked. Thanks
That boar move was genius
I'm glad you pause and talk about strategies!

Please more Videos like this, the need more Strategy Analyse like this Video.

Outback octagon 3 trailer when?
Awesome video! Very helpful, thanks Aussie!
Thank you for this video!!! I'm 11-0 with this build order so far on the ladder.
Thank you for this, great video

So, other than towara, you don’t go for any other eco upgrade before you age up to castle?
Yep
Another great guide man - THANKS!
Can't wait to try this on intermediate bot
Ayee thanks aussie
When is OO3? I'm so ready!
That's an insane build order. (I say that as a French main.

More vortix, this was a masterclass cool to learn from this

i'd love to watch a video on your opinions of season 7 patch notes!! please!
More VortiX videos please! It is also no problem if they are only 15 minutes long :)
As a nood aoe4 video editor I admire your work a lot 🎉

couldn't you just press H to get to the town center instead of hot keying it to 5?
am i the only one thats ocd about the forgotten priest near the 5th relic?
I'm watching every single one of your video. I have to say, they are amazing but it's taking so much of my time. It's like a love hate situation 🙃

Is this still good?
Question from a beginner here :P

When Kura can`t place any more farms it gives you 38 wood instead every 50 seconds
@@markusvalentini438didn’t know this. Ty bro

@@oknice8325 i´m not saying use up the sheep, AFTER wheelbarrow is finished I send the vill´s to berries

@multimate7760 you are right. It’s more efficient and the walk time is the same either way

Won the last 2 games doing this. Usually I get battered
Is there a good explanation as to why he is placing the kura storehouse centered under the TC, losing 2 even 3 free farms?
When is the best timing approximately to make a 2nd TC with this BO?
wishing for updated chinese builds
This is the Sky-fox build. You should credit him.
cry more
What happens if there is an early ram on that outpost?
Send Villager to torch?
Why is no one talking about vortix idling his tc for multiple minutes this game, i feel like im missing something
2:57 why do the sheep start running if there is no explorer?
I am quite new to multi aoe 4. Level 44 player I bulit a tower against the english and they outranged the tower with longbows and destroyed it xd any ideas what went wrong? (I had units inside)
How do you show power next to the names in online play. I’m on pc and it’s so aggravating. I have the ui turned on but nothing pops up
is there a late game transition to the rest of the build order
So what’s better this or 2 tc
Idk Beastys strad from fudal fast 2nd TC sonds lil better.
Finally
What map is this?
I do like drongo but he really didn't explain this that well
what is map name?
building placement so bad for farms tho..
are there farms that don't spawn next to the town center since it's too close to the town center?
This tutorial is not a fast castle build. It is a fast castle age build.
This still viable?
No
