I definitely think megaleg was a great boss fight for just being the first bowser related one in the franchise, it’s always seemed so cool to me because of how massive it was. Same thing with the boomsday machine, loved those ones
Mario galaxy isn’t a franchise it’s a series it would need more originality compared to other Mario games but mega leg is a great boss but not because it’s a first thing I hate when people say that

Mario Galaxy is my favorite game ever, and the main HUGE reason is the final fight with Bowser! I can't tell you how much I love EVERYTHING about this game, and the final Bowser battle--it's so awesome and I love it to death!
I have only 3d all stars, just got all stars in galaxy 1 and bouldergeist daredevil took really long. Bouldergeist has to be my second favorite from galaxy 1 because the music is also so good. #1 is bowser.

I think the final bowser battle from Galaxy 1 was more fun than Galaxy 2, but the final castle from Galaxy 2 was more fun than the first. The first was still a lot of fun though!

There r some rlly cool ideas, but some of them already exist (not talking about the octopus buddies. The Mechanical Castle is just a Boomsday Machine but made castle :p)

Are you talking about Galaxy 1 or 2? I agree that final Bowser #2 is bad but final Bowser #1 was very epic! Mario games have a tradition of making easy bosses if you haven't already noticed.
imo Bowser's final battle doesn't get the credit it deserves, especially the last phase; sure, it's pretty short if you know what you're doing, but that's exactly what it's meant to be. it's basically an interactive cutscene, and what a cutscene - you're fighting Bowser by smashing meteors against him, but this time inside a *BLACK HOLE*, and the music is even more amazing than the usual Bowser fight theme! I may be an oddball here but, at least imo, that boss fight is one of the best Bowser fights ever, right there with Odyssey and the original Galaxy, despite it's short duration and comparatively easy difficulty
Now let’s just hope that the 3d remasters exist and will get announced to be released during the holidays that will turn around Nintendo’s lackluster 2020 year

Megahammer daredevil was a nightmare in my childhood, now it's probably my top 2 boss in the whole series (the best one is Boomsday machine)
