Mr Tech 6D mark II has great dynamic range, it may not be the best at iso 100 or 200 but when you push it to ISO 400 it becomes on par with Canon’s professional line of FF cameras. Again do your research and don’t be a slave to spec sheets.
I have one thing to say to all vloggers who are bashing 6DMii. Everything is not about the video, there are a lot of people who buys a camera don't care about video. When someone types "Canon 6D mark ii review" they don't always expect video perspective of the camera alone. We actually want to hear more about the image performance, dynamic range, auto-focus, colour science etc. It is been more than a year but every single one of you has nothing more to say other than lack of 4k. I'm sure it is a huge bummer for you guys but it is not everything!
thanks for your comment! If you wanna talk photography, the original 6D has better dynamic range for stills and a second hand Canon 5D mkiii is the same price and substantially better for stills.
I agree :) I think part of the problem is youtube, of course people who upload videos here care about video... About the dynamic range: I don´t think you notice a real difference between the 6d ii and the 6d. Serious landscape photographers use bracketing anyways. I just bought one brand new for 1000€ so I´m very happy about the price/performance
Not true at all. " If you wanna talk photography", please stop trying to talk videography when reviewing a camera that is designed for stills. The 5D Mk III does not beat the 6D MK II in any way. That just proves that you want to cheap out and get a youtube video channel using a DSLR. . As a matter of fact, it was clear from the specifications that the focus of the engineers who designed this camera didn't even TRY to make people believe it was going to be a great video rig. The codecs were not competitive for video, for a reason. You may have to suck it up and get a dedicated camcorder/video camera for this type of videography. Some youtubers can get away with using DSLR's for vlogging, but that's not what you are doing here. For the demands that you are making on this type of recording, it was clear from the get go that this isn't the proper tool for the job. It's like trying to eat soup with chopsticks. :)
Maybe, just maybe, Canon made the 6D mk2 for photographers that only shoot stills but want an affordable full-frame camera with great low-light performance. Like me. And the video is an addition like it was when they first added it their DSLRs years ago. There are plenty of more video capable DSLRs out there, so use one of those, or maybe an actual video camera. Why can't we stills photographers that never shoot video have a great camera for that purpose, without all you videographers that don't want to buy a dedicated video camera slagging it off because it doesn't do what you want it to? I would never buy a C100 and complain about the quality of the stills it produced, so stop doing the same with stills cameras.
I do find TH-cam reviews frustrating for this reason. If they titled the review as a review for video I'd have no issues but there are tons of camera reviews that only look okay video. I'm not sure if I'll ever use a camera for that, my cell phone is already adequate and honestly I can't be bothered to edit video so what footage I have rarely gets used. I was torn between this, the 80D, and the M50 and you'd think all they do is video from the reviews.
Chris, thanks god that there are still people, who know how to use brain and are able to evaluate purpose of each product. This is entry ticket to FF world for lowest possible cost! Plain and simple. I am so tired of this wannabe informative trash on youtube...oh and by the way to rest of you - enjoy 4K content on your 720P mobiles
I just got this camera and I love it. There is always short comings with anything but for me this is a really good camera. I am coming from a 7d fist generation to the 6d Mark II. The full frame is worth it to me. The 4K thing is overrated. 66% of TH-cam videos were watched on a 720 screen. Unless you are planning on your stuff being on a movie screen you are wasting your storage for 4K. 4K or even 8K is a way to get consumers to buy new stuff. This is marketing 101. I do appreciate your feedback on this and keep up the creative life! Very good video! I will be checking out more of your stuff!
Thanks for your kind words and Im happy you enjoy your new camera! Certainly from a 7D its a dramatic upgrade. I will Kindly disagree with you about 4k however. About half of my views on this channel come from computers, and Macbook pros from 2012 on...not to mention 5k iMacs ....and all these computers display higher than 1080p resolution. Also, 4k always is the best format to record in to get amazing 1080p. A photographer taking 24MP photographs never delivers that resolution. Resolution of instagram posts are only 2MP. So does that mean we should only have 2MP sensors on our iPhones and cameras? Same argument there works for video. The benefit of shooting higher resolution is for image sharpness, color detail, and the ability to crop in post. SOOO if we are delivering in 4k now...obviously its the same for that with 4k being the new standard rather than 1080p...so thats where 8K comes in. Same story.. an 8K image downresed to 4k is going to give us a better image plus it'll allow us to crop in post with a true 4k deliverable.
Abhinav Varun Revis My hole thing is about what the human eye can actually see. I get the the reason for downgrading 4K to get the sharpest and best quality picture you can. I have been doing test shots with my 6D Mark II and getting amazing stuff and like I said before there is short comings with any type of technology. If this had 4k in it I would love to have it. I am only going to be shooting TH-cam stuff not any type of client stuff and this camera is perfect for me. I personally can’t justify the storage space for 4K just for TH-cam. The facts are 66% of all TH-cam videos in 2017 was viewed on 720 screens. I also agree with you that he did a great job with this video. I also just checked out your stuff and it’s very good. Go check out Calvin Kemppel’s stuff and it’s all shot in 1080. The Jordan video is amazing!
You might over rate 4K but many of us use it and love it. In 2018 there is really no excuse not to have it - codecs are friendlier now for editing at home, so that old excuse is getting tired. I can't imagine putting my modern full frame camera down and pulling out a crappy iPhone SE to record my video footage because the Canon camera can't even do that.....? Really....? I'm sure it's a good camera - I had the 6D and loved it. But the crop Nikon D500 blows that camera clear out of the water, and the 6D Mark II isn't much better than the mark I. That's the problem..... It shouldn't be like this, Canon can? lol Canon should....
Fast forward to June 2023. Just bought the 6d ii this week and I absolutely love it for photography. I sold my RP after 3 months and the 6d is like driving one of the older cars, it's fun.
Same here, thats actually a really good comparison. The whole mirrorless thing is like a Tesla, cool tech, but not a robust tactile experience. There is just something about shooting from an optical viewfinder, its like a sniper rifle.
Color science crushes the Sony, lens selection way better value....I have a Sony mirrorless a7ii and my fiancees original 6d takes way better pictures straight from camera.
I have the 6D2 and as a photographer it is an awesome camera for the price. For a blogger,vlogger,videotographer......just dont't buy it, the clue there was when Canon didn't include the all important headphone jack! It is a full frame photography camera and as a camera it kicks ass! I have had all of the 5D cameras and loved them all, but the flip out screen makes all the difference for me. I love the camera and it takes great photographs. I personally think the 1D C has spoilt your perspective to the 6D2, it is over $1000 more, of course it is better. The 80D was an upgrade to the Casey self-declared "Greatest blogging camera ever" and has a headphone jack, it may as well had 'work harder' printed on it. LOL
I don't understand your comment Joel. Were you talking to the guy who made the video or myself? If you're talking to me, then I have absolutely no regrets in buying the 6D2. It is a pleasure of a camera.
I continue to use my 80D and invest in glass until one of 2 things happen, either a 6D iii with 2 card slots or a 5D v with an articulating screen. Maybe one will happen or maybe not, but one should.
5D Mark V with articulating screen and latest processor with a slight uptick in resolution and I am in too!! My 80D has been awesome so far though but will definitely go full frame with next body. I have never even switched on video mode on my 80D as I actually like photography.
Good photographers do wonders with the 6DII, it's an awesome camera, I work with 1DX, 5DIV and 6DII, I expected having issues with the focus points on the 6DII but I just don't see it, it's a great camera.
One more time, AWESOME review! something in me kept questioning this camera, your review highlighted all the questions I had that NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT. Thank you very much !
The 6D ii even though I don't own one myself, but from watch videos shot by it and playing with it, it is a fantastic piece of tool. A great camera with awesome picture quality. So, being super bias cuz you're an awesome creator, didn’t expect that from you.
@2:40 I think what you are saying here is a misleading info. Canon themselves claim that 6D MKII is a stills camera and not for video shooting. For those CANON'ers who want to shoot video the address is 5D MK IV.
Hey, I am enjoying your reviews. No that you’ve used the Fujifilm X-H1 how would you weigh the two up? Currently testing the X-H1 and feeling like I’m getting way more for my money and better video and picture quality. I am willing to ditch a flip screen for this, what do you think?
Kinotika definitely. A7iii is quite bit more than the Fuji in my country. So Fuji is looking more and more like my next purchase. They are also very good with local support.
I agree with you on everything you said. I just bought an 80d and i am very happy with it. I was considering the 6d but after most of the reviews i have seen I just bought an 80d and spent the rest of the money i saved on the sigma 18-35mm f1.8
user of a 6D mark2 speaking. understand the criticism but again its a very nice peace of metal for a person who is slightly enthusiastic compared to a what so called amateur! i would say its not a pro camera but it does a decent job for a "more then an amateur less then a pro"guy like me
Thanks a lot for your honest opinion. For an enthusiast like me with a 30D and two EF lens, would it still be a bad choice considering a tight budget and that I’d like to begin with full frame for photography and filming ? Or maybe the 6D is what I need ?
Just bought the camera today and been playing around... I can say that the full frame makes a huge difference and that is something you can't say for a cropped sensor. It's an upgrade from my workhorse of a camera body the Rebel T3i that I abused to no end and it still held the test of time. These Canon bodies are super worth the money, at least in my experience I've never regretted buying a Canon lens/body if no other reason than it opened a new photography door for me.
It is actually a great camera, I just bought it. I don't know what you talking about. You're trying to compare its quality with 1DC, mark4, 1DX..etc? which are twice the price or more!?? Try compare it with anything in its range. NOTHING in its range has the same awesome focus system. The quality may slightly vary, but Ofcourse, its a matter of "what would you sacrifice." For stills, yes, maybe better get markiii or markii because its similar quality. But for video, this one is amazing. For both video and photos, this one still a beast. Oh also, about dynamic range, its not as terrible as you describe it. If you expose your shots properly, you never gonna have to worry about dynamic range. Also, this camera has a wonderful ISO. I can literally pump it up to 25k ISO and still get very usable images.
Great! Glad you like it. I have the benefit of trying all sorts of cameras from different manufacturers and I can honestly say that the 6D mkii is most certainly overpriced and that the 1080p is extremely soft. My GH2 from 2009 had sharper 1080p. Even canons own older 80D is better. And it has been proven that the older 6D has better DR. I’m glad you like it. There’s more to like than just image quality. Like the DPAF and flip out screen. But that’s not enough for me. I get that on my better 80D
The a7ii is much cheaper with more af points, better spread Although maybe worse, would need a side to side test. The a7r2 is sharper and not much more expensive
Dynamic range is not about correct exposure - you can expose correctly and still dig out a lot of detail in the light and shadows. Dynamic range is about detail, not simply exposure.
lee simons aeh. No. Dynamic range is exactly about Exposure, it says how much info there is in lights and shadows, not about Detail, at all. Youre just wrong
No... no... no I am not. The human eye has 20 stops of dynamic range - we can see the detail in shadows and highlights far better than any camera can - and we don't do exposure settings biologically. Dynamic range is just that DYNAMIC RANGE. It's to do with seeing the large and minute detail in light graduations - it's how sensitive we are at perceiving these ranges of graduations. If you over expose or under expose then sure - you can bring back that detail depending on how good your sensor is. But being able to bring back detail is not the same as recording that detail - and that's what dynamic range is. Honestly.....
The interpretation at 5:00 minute mark. I get it and I know exactly what you're talking about. For some reason every frame of the video that you stop at to see what's going on whether the subject is in motion or not the frame itself will be clear without any blurriness unless it was intended to. So for example: If I edit my video in sony vegas. If I right click on the video and Disable Frame re sample, it helps you get that clearer image. But as what he said in the video if you can have All-I compression , you can literally have this without taxing your PC and be worry free whether you have to figure it out a way you get the smoothest video possible.
If video is you main focus, you are right and it shows in your advice: get a GH5 instead... great video, but the photo's: more noise, less color sensitivity and worse in high iso low light photo's. The 6D mark II is not the camera for your usage that is clear. Btw: you can improve the video quality by improving the sharpness in camera by selecting 'Fine Detail' instead of Standard. Or make a custom profile with even more sharpness. It is a versatile full frame photo camera, not a video camera.
My story now.. it takes beautiful pictures like even higher quality but I hate all the videos coming from this camera.. I do beauty and I never see my contours/shadows.. I see something in the mirror..I dont see it in my camera..I thought I was crazy ... my sister thought I was exaggerating the terrible video part of it.. and I ve bn trying to sell it and no one wants it... just a huge waste of money
I upgraded from a canon 70D to the 6DMK2 and I also have a canon EOS R and I love both cameras. I enjoy the 6DMK2 because of its ease of use and the image quality is actually superb when you use in good natural lighting conditions and becomes even better with on camera and off camera flash. Lowlight shooting is good up to 12,800 iso. I see no major difference with the EOS R image quality with sufficient natural lighting. I don't worry to much about DR because I make I nail exposure for the most part. Know your gear and it will work wonders for you. I'm not a video guy.
Thanks for your review! ... but since one week, I have already Canon 6D Mark II ... Question: I will like to know how you put your logo in the beginning of your movie (0:16) ...maybe a stupid question ))) Didier | the Netherlands
I am vlogger and I have never satisfied with any of the reviewers that I watched before. But you are the first person whom I felt as the most honest about the reviewing the camera. Because last month when I went to London Drugs to buy a lens I had a conversation with a camera department manager who happened to be a professional photographer for 40 years in Canada working for reputed company. And upon my inquiries about the 6D Mark II she very frankly told me that its not good. And your points exactly matches with hers that she told me. She even told me that the older 6D is better than 6D Mark II. And for vlog 80D still wins the race. So thank you for being honest. And keep reviewing like this.
I'm a photographer. Just sold my 80D and picked up this camera for $1500. I will never turn on the video. Image quality is excellent. No regrets. For a photographer at $1500 it's a great upgrade from any APS-C camera.
just watched this video yesterday. I respect opinions. great video and thank you for a beautiful edit. I live in Southern California, looking to go full frame as a next body from my 7d m2. I'm 100% photo. last weekend I rented a 6dmII and the pictures were amazing. I compared it to my Nikon d500 and my7dm2 (I'm a sports shooter) and the quality/bokeh crushed my d500 and my 7dmII. Tired of people shitting on the 6dm2 that are vloggers or fanboys. 6dm2 is not a vlogger cam. stop riding words from sponsored canon youtube idiots. I'm now a follower of you my friend.
If you are ONLY a photographer then you would be much better served with a 5D mkiii! It gives you much better feature that a photographer needs and better image quality for the same price.
I haven't used the 6d Mark II yet but Im waiting for a Canon DSLR or Mirrorless camera with 4k, flip out screen, touchscreen, and dual pixel auto focus.
I totally agree with you. I ended up picking up a GH5 instead of the 6D ii because I couldn’t deal with the crappy 1080p codec. I’m in a spot where I would definitely go with a 90d or 100d if they put in 4K or even just a higher frame rate option in 1080p. The icing on the cake would be if it had dual card slots, though I doubt that will happen lol.
Kiywii hi man i am a biginner in videography , i am confused if i pick up 6d ii or 80d , i shoot surfing sports from beach send, clifs, rocks, i want to go with canon my be for the Af, but for my small budjet what you advise me i am not a bloger i want to shoot small films 15mints to 20 mins for surfers and nautique sports . tacke 80d with 100 400 L4,5 5,6 ii =1018p and profit from the good focus. or take gh5 with panasonic 100 400 = 4k but manual focus who can i improvete if its possible by experiance i am 1 team shooter. considering that i will focus just surfers riding waves and traking them surfing please advice me with cam i have to bay for that oerpos , especialy surfers want good images quality for work thanks.
thank you I actually just bought the Fuji XT2 just over a week ago at first I was having doubts about not getting the 6d mk ii to upgrade from my 5d mark ii after watching this video I had more confidence about my choices and have no regrets
So, I like your review style. I will be buying my first DSLR soon and have jumped to Canon from Nikon. My only camera was a 35mm Canon EOS 650 years ago and I liked it... as a matter of fact, I still have it in the closet if anyone is interested. It's been in a Pelican case since I bought it. Anyhoo... I want to shoot photos of all kinds and video for a TH-cam channel from close in/macro to long range photography. I was thinking of the D5 Mark IV. Does it do 4K and good processing like you mentioned here? Which would you recommend for the best video and photo in the Canon line?
I actually just got my 6dii for $1300 from the holiday sale which is quite a steal. I've been using the 80d, but I've done mostly pictures with the 6dii so far. The FF is nice for the depth of field and extra light since I've never had the luxury to use a full frame. The photography part doesn't seem to be a huge issue since I'm pretty calculative with all my shots and have all my settings right. Everything is basically the same as the 80d, just no headphone jack which is weird for a newer camera and more pricey one. Just from looking at the footage I got so far from the 6dii without editing anything, I gotta say you have to tinker with the picture profiles. I've tried a few different settings and got it to match with my 80d when I had the 80d at it's best. I have to edit it still to see the final product, but it looks great so far unedited. If you can get the 6dii for a cheap price like I did, I'd say it's worth it, otherwise the 80d will do just the same job. I've also been using a 2003 or 04 Canon camera for the longest time and upgraded to the 80d in October, so the 80d and 6dii was a massive upgrade and I appreciated everything that the cameras offered. I'm sure with some calculated shots/film, correct settings and careful editing, your final pic/video will be perfect.
Those vloggers got the camera for free and have it in their interests to keep their relationship with Canon. Sadly, the "say nothing negative" mindset still reigns on TH-cam. If one doesn't agree with everyone else, that person is labelled "negative" or "hater". The "gimme free shit" crowd runs this site. Love your unbiased review, and love that you don't mind calling out the big guys. New sub just for this vid.
Wow thank you for the kind compliment! I’m a small channel but if I continue to grow we promise to not be a sell out. Nothing more cringe than being a suck up. And nothing fulfilling about that. I want to be proud of my career at the end of the day and that starts with total honesty.
Dude!!! Thank you for this honest no-punches-held review. I'm shooting and vlogging with my 5d mk4 and I keep looking at this camera because of the flip out screen and that there are a lot of people jumping to it. Thanks for saving me from trading in my 5d for this. Much appreciated! Just gonna keep holding out for that IDX mk2...
Absolutely dude! Maybe consider upgrading to the Canon log on your 5D4. I personally have been eye balling it. Hold out on 1DX2 for a few months dude. NAB and Cine Gear are around the corner and I feel like Canon has some amazing new stuff on the horizon
Kinotika Yep! Just got my 5D4 back from Canon last week with the c-log update. Loving it. My fingers are crossed for a big canon reveal at the events in a couple months. Praying for a 5D5 with a flip out screen that shoots 120fps at 1080p. Ha! #inourdreams
Lol ya. Of course. I was using that for another comparison that wasn't related to this video actually. Thats B roll for something else. I was shooting on 24L, 16-35L, and 70-200L only on the 6DII my entire trip and was extremely unimpressed. 5D3 has better results.
@@whateveryoucall7031 There is a hack for that, basically you have to cut out a piece of the rear of the lens. And when you put it on full frame, you can only use it from 14-18mm for photos without strong vignette. And for video, if you do it in 4k then you can do it at 12mm without the vignette too. There are some tutorial videos on youtube
It’s up to you and what your needs are! If you’re a video shooter, I highly recommend the Panasonic systems. The GH5S is my current favorite camera. If you need full frame and take stills then a7iii would suit you but IMO I feel sonys color science just isn’t good enough. Panasonic has better colors. Maybe look into Fuji with the XT2 or if you can wait, wait on canons pro mirrorless system
Kinotika thanks for your detailed answer! I do more stills than video, but I need both. For now I have a Canon 80d and some good lenses full frame lenses, I was waiting for the 6D II but was highly disappointed... meanwhile, because I found some great deals I own a x-t2 with some lenses that I use for street photography and in some pro work. Unfortunately, the autofocus in video renders it unusable to my kind of work. I wanted a good full frame for my canon lenses, the autofocus is awesome, but this a7III is exactly what I imagined Canon to release and more, but thinking about yet another system... I love/hate this.
Great review! I cannot believe Canon did not put 4k, a headphone jack, and it has a slower shutter speed in this camera. The dynamic range is bad. When I saw Neistat and McKinnon start using this camera and praising it, I was shocked. I was wondering if I was missing something. I was even thinking if I made the wrong decision staying with my 80D. I cannot believe Canon came out with a $2000 camera in 2017-18 with such terrible dynamic range and no 4k. It is also worrisome, because I feel it shows that no Canon camera under $2000 will get 4k anytime soon.
Yup. Really sad. And because it’s full frame and has good AF and flip out screen vloggers thing it’s the best. But it just isn’t. The 5d IV 1080p is actually really great. Not to mention it has 4K as well
Kinotika haha yep, I've seen ways where you can get the 6d mk II for $1300 after rebates, it might be worth that. Anyways I subscribed when this channel had like 50 subs. I loved the SL2 video, keep up the great work
But seriosly, how many of you there use 4k? Its so much more work and time to edit and everybody watches on mobile devices in 1080p. Think about it, why all music videos are still being recorded in 1080p?
I viewed this post several months ago along with every review I could find on Canon's new camera bodies. I was agonizing over the 80d, the 5D Miv and the 6DMii. Tony N, Frono and you all seemed to have the same complaints mostly centered around video performance, the mic, and dynamic range which in my case were much less important as an amateur with intermediate skills and needs. I was a bit puzzled and taken aback by the shrill fuss and I went ahead and bought the 6dmii for about $1300 at the canon direct store. I am so happy I did: the amount of features packed in this camera provides real value to a guy like me; and then there is the reality that camera bodies now tend to be obsolete in a few years. I get it professionals will want more perfect tools for their job and should probably pony up the extra 1k or so for a flagship model. I did notice that Tony N. has withdrawn his critique and posted an new more glowing review using the 6dmii with a 28mm image stabilized lens that improves the sharpness. You can add him to your wall of shame Vlogers (LOL). But seriously, have your considered this simple solution?
It's a resolution measure. 1080p, the "standard" nowadays, is half that of 4K. A 1080p image (or video) is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high. A 4K image (or video) is 3840 pixels wide × 2160 pixels wide. So, 4K is double the vertical resolution of 1080p.
I was injured 5 years ago which eventually left me in a chair for the past 3 of those years. My photography business took a nose dive after being confined to the chair. (I literally can' t buy a photo shoot!) That being said I am planning to stop shooting professionally (at least for now) and am going to down grade to a less expensive camera than my 5D Mark iv, I had pretty much chosen the 80D, but wanted to look into the 6D Mark II to see if it were an option, thank you for your brutally honest review, I absolutely loved it! I will need more of this "This is how it is reviews so I have subscribed and will be looking forward to more like this! Thank you again Johnny Newell!
Im so sorry to hear about your injury. I cant imagine being out of the industry that long. Im so glad youre back at it. Honestly, at this point, I would start to look at other manufactures. Canon is so slow and crappy. Im jumping ship to Panasonic. If youre a photographer more than a videographer, I would look into either the fuji system or even the Olympus EM1 mkii.
Great review Dave! Subscribed immediately. I own a 650D, for about 4-5 years which I really enjoy, I would like to make the jump to full frame, I even sold my 17-50 tamron to a 24-70 tamron 2.8 g2. After all the negative reviews on the 6d mk 2, what would recommend me to do/buy? Thanks
Thanks Alex for your sub and comment! If you’re a photographer I’d definitely still recommend the Canon 5D3. Plus you can do a magic lantern hack on it and record amazing raw video too if you want to dive into that crazy world. If you can save your pennies though I’d definitely go for the 5Div. You can get one used around $2500 which isn’t too bad compared to the 6d2
Question: what does 4 k look like on a cell phone? Yeah, I didn't think so either. The minimum screen size needed for the human eye to resolve 4 k is said to be 42 inches MINIMUM! Sorry but who TF watches YT on a screen that big? The world does not revolve around 4k and for those for whom it does, You are not a bald eagle and I am sorry you've been wasting your time. If you're going to review things as complex as digital cameras don't admit that you're not tech savvy in the first two minutes of a video. It's a camera not a camcorder, most folks using cameras to take still photo's don't need a headphone jack unless it plays MP3's which they don't. maybe re-title your video to reflect these facts
I was set to buy a used 6D this week and this gives me second thoughts. I thought I'd found the perfect vlogging camera for my purposes. I wanted full frame and a flip out screen. But this sounds really bad....
Canon generally outsells Nikon and Sony. They are the Toyota of camera Companies. Their products are generally never at the forefront of technology and perhaps not at the top of performance but they are very reliable and high quality and this drives a large portion of their market share. The 6D Mk 2 is a great camera with excellent dynamic range above 300 ISO. In the real world the difference are small and if you shoot in low light, the 6D mk 2 will eat most cameras lunch including this blogger.
Thanks for the review. Now I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my 2nd camera - Canon 5D mark2 to the 6D Mark2. Seems like a great camera, except the lack of All-i codec, and the lack of Headphone jack.
I don’t understand the importance of 4K. Isn’t 1080p enough for most TH-cam videos, weddings, etc? I know we all want the most quality possible, I get that, but don’t most clients, people not have the technology to even view 4K? I am a technical guy too and want the best for me, but please explain why this is such an important standard currently? Thanks
You have very valid points. I think it’s a matter of competition at this point. Usable 4K is really great and makes even 1080p stuff look amazing and gives you room to crop. It also future proofs your content. ALSO for TH-cam, they do like 4K. TH-cam wants you to upload in highest quality. But you’re right.
Kinotika thanks! If I do buy this camera, can you tell me what the best SD card would be for this. I am mostly a photographer but will also plan on some video. Thanks!!
I felt the exact way you felt when I heard everyone talking about the camera. I rented the camera and did a video about taking pictures with it and I while I enjoyed my time with it. I didn't find to be better than my D750 for photos at least. The 80D is definitely a better bang for the buck! Great video BTW if you are wondering how I found your video. This was a suggested video from another video I was watching and I clicked your video because your channel name looked unique like something I had never seen before and the thumbnail wasn't too shabby. I also run a YT channel and so it helps to know how people come across your vids. Cheers!
HI guys, you two have tested the 80d and the 6d mark 2. I have the 80d and I want to go on a full frame camera. SO if the 6D mark 2, doesn't t worth it, what would be your best advise for me ? Thanks
I really think that this guy hasn't a clue as to what he's doing, or if he does, he has succeeded in proving that he picked the wrong tool for the job at hand. This video was doomed from the very beginning by the pretense of the job at hand. I think he really likes schadenfreude, as every time he comments, it's about how "bad" this camera is. It's almost as though he set this up for failure by design.
Hi, Im using D750 and just coming back from the shop whih i found closed early tonight, I was going to buy the 6D Mark ii and lucky me still have some time to think and i found that video. If you tested the D750 could you give me advice is it really worth it or should I start looking for other one which is Full frame and that with the video really did not gave me peace when I was walking to the shop cuz i know Im gonna need good video in some point in my work.
Unfortunately, I agree with you. I bought this camera new this summer to step up my video game. I am a motorsports photographer and have been trying to document my event shoots to create my YT channel. But because I am primarily a still photographer, I wanted to maximize my budget by having a second full-frame camera to hold my wide-zoom lens for closer subject matter during events, while shooting the action with my 100-400 L II telephoto on my 1Dx. The whole reason I'm here on this channel is because I'm trying to find out why my video quality sucks so bad. I guess the good news is that its not JUST because I suck at video. But the bad news is that I wasted money on equipment that only serves half of my needs. Its not terrible for the kind of photography that I do (fast action in broad daylight... although the focus grouping sucks, too), but it its definitely sabotaged my video needs. So bummed.
Thank you for producing this video. It reinforced my decision. Canon has a real gap in the its full frame line. I recently wrestled with buying the 6D2 and really tried to sell myself on it, but couldn't. Dustin Abbott said it best when he reviewed the 6D2 and said words to the effect that Canon had the opportunity to make a great camera and settled for making a good camera. That having been written, I shoot Canon and stayed Canon and opted for a new 5D4.
@@connormccaskill ONLY $1k more? That's a huge amount of money for most people, I would think. I rarely shoot video, and am wanting to upgrade from a 70D, and was hoping your video was going to help un-muddy the waters.
It’s such a tough decision really. If given the option between a7iii and 6d II id choose the a7iii. Out of all three you listed though, personally I’d go GH5 because of the video features
If Canon offers an (A7x, A6x like cameras) Minus the colour science - I will switch blindly. There is a C-level dinosaur forcing these decisions and should be fired 🔥
Thank you for this! Prevented me from purchasing one as a replacement for a series of old Canon EOS Crop DSLRs. Let's see if they move away from the IPB, lack of headphone jack and add 2160p60prog in there in the future.
just watched this after ordering the 6d mii. i’m a bit nervous now but sure for my first ~pro camera it’s gonna be fine honestly the reason i went for this one is full frame sensor, foldable screen i need for skateboarding and 1080 60p. was thinking about buying nikon d750 but assumed that 2017 camera has much better upgraded technologies
I've been shooting with Canon for 45+ years and it's always come thru for me. So last week I got the 6d2. Haven't really had any time with it but I do wish I would have seen your review BEFORE I got the camera. I guess we'll see how it all works out and thanks for the info on your review.
It depends. For us it's the best camera on the market. In fact, it's the only one which has the specs we were looking for. We are not Canon fan boys, nor Canon has sent us the camera. We paid for it, so this is not a biased opinion. During 2017 we were using a Lumix g85 with 7-14 f/4 for talking scenes and a Sony a6500 with Sigma 30mm f/1.4 for b-roll. - About the Lumix: The autofocus was crap, totally crap. We had a baby and we were vlogging while pushing the babycar and also focusing manually so it was the biggest pain in the ass ever. As we are a couple, we are changing the focused subject (our faces) quickly depending on who is talking and also focusing on far places and then focusing back to our face. Lumix cameras can't to that (except the new g9 focusing system). Also, the f/4 was useless even inside our home. In Japan, it gets dark about 5:00PM so we were using that camera over 800 and 1000 ISO most of the time. Obviously, the subject isolation is impossible with the m43 lenses and the tiny sensor. So it was also a negative point. - About the Sony: From the start, this camera is useless for vlogging hahaha. The lack of flip out screen makes it useless for shoot yourself. Yes, you can point at your face and you will be in focus because of the nice face tracking, but we care about composition, correct exposure, and we need to see the screen to check if it's recording or not. All the Sony mirrorless cameras on the market are useless for our purposes. Only for b-roll 👍🏻 - About the Canon: It has all we were looking for. Flip-out screen, full frame, beautiful colors (although we were ok with Panasonic and Sony colors), wider aperture on lenses like 16-35mm f/2.8 and then, subject isolation is beautiful. And the thing that "saved our life", the best autofocus ever. It's just amazing! Since we are using this camera we are not worried about being in focus, the IQ and dynamic range are good for our liking. We compared the videos shot with the g85 and the 6D Mark II in the same scene and they have about the same dynamic range (6D m2 a little better) and the sharpness was about the same in both camera. But for some reason, the images that 6D m2 produces were more pleasant to our eyes than the Lumix. Maybe the depth of field and the colors are the reason. The lack of 4K don't bother us because we had two 4K cameras and never shot in 4K hahaha. Also, tons of reviewers complained about the IPB codec, but we were comparing the 5D Mark IV All-i and the 6D Mark II IPB and can't tell the different. Maybe in a bigger screen it's noticeable but not in a 15" Macbook Pro. The thing we don't like about this camera is something no one is mentioning, the bad pre-amp... the sound is awful hahaha. It crushes when we talk loud and it is so low if we talk with a normal volume. There is no middle ground 😅 Our mic. is a Rode VideoMicro. Also, it seems the IQ changes a lot depending on the used lens, which is obvious. There are 6D Mark II reviews with bad image quality like yours or Dustin Abbott, but other reviews with good IQ like the Creative Ryan one. He used a Sigma 24mm f/1.4 and it was sharp. We are using a Canon 16-35mm 2.8 III and it's sharper than your footage in this video. Maybe it gets better if using proper lenses? Of course, this is our experience and usage. For other purposes like interviews, weddings, comercial... there are better options like GH5 or Sony if we're talking about mirrorless. But this camera costs $1300 in Japan, we had Canon L lenses at home and we use it specifically for vlogging and create content on social media. It's good enough for that!👍🏻
Absolutely no. I actually own this camera and bought it regardless of all this crap you and everyone talk about, all this kind of reviews mainly work for people who's focused on specs and obviously that is somewhat important, but people should really consider their style and what specs they really need to achieve that style. Personally I love the camera and regret nothing about my decision of buying this camera. I looked for an affordable full frame body, weather sealed, better and cleaner high ISOs, Canon's color, great battery life and a camera that would actually work and wouldn't fail at the middle of action, that has GPS, and more. So, for me, it was the right camera and I'm happy with it.
Hey Kinotika, this is a great review, thank you for your honestly. Here’s a question for you...you said that big youtubers like Casey Neistat and Peter MacKinnon and the travel feels guy all praise this camera a full year plus after it was released and everyone bashed it. Do you think that canon is paying them to push this camera? It feels very odd to me that they all switched at the exact same time out of no where and all the sudden this camera is just great, even though it’s been on the market for so long. Just a though. Anyways, great stuff
I own 5dmk4 and 1DXmk2 and I still mostly use the 6dmk2, especially for personal stuff I had 6d mk1 and 80d and this is much better product. It is not the best camera, but it one of the better all around ff cameras.
I don't think you are wrong, but I'm purchasing a 6D2 now for $1000 because I like my 6D1 and I want a second body, the autofocus made me not want to buy a second 6D1. (I do videos extremely rarely) I will pair it with a Tamron G2 24-70 because in photography, tabilisation has some advantages. also 26mp is not crazy too much, and will enable me for more cropping. I currently shoot with a 6D1 and a sigme 85mm 1.4. What i miss is stabilisation and a tad sharper shots (26mp will be good for me). Also having 2 bodies with 2 optics is key in the way I like to work. I learn each day and steps.
then what do you recommend to buy for best landscapes photography in full frame in 2000$ range..4k doest not matter as i am not photographer or vlogger..i love stills only
Totally agreed. Debated on C100 MkII 5D4 or 6D2 ended up getting the Gh5 with some extra cash and never looked back my videos aren't the greatest but the "colour science" isn't a selling point for me anymore since Divinci resolve and using V-Log or any Log profile nowadays with colour correction can fix it for video. other than ISO performance that can help in video run-and-gun scenarios I see no reason to upgrade my 6D Mi at all since i have a GH5.
It's business, Canon is clearly going for aftermarket, waiting for all the nerds to switch and sell their gear, just to release a dream come true camera, so everyone will have to switch back and get new set of lenses as well.
Pls do been trying to sell mine since 1 month..its just a pain to sell.. when I take pictures, it's very very sharp but I do more videos and that us where it sucks. I search for my shadows like am nuts... the highlights just there but where are the shadows.. pls run from this camera if you do a lot of videos but if you are into photos..with a great lens, this is perfect...
Thanks dude for your honest feedback for real, I have been seeing a lot on this camera and I can't believe the 80D is the better camera. keep up the good work💪
From a fellow Nash(villain) thanks for the vid, I was thinking about upgrading to this. Sounds like the 80D is a better option or is there a better option? The SL2 looks good but I can't imagine buying a Rebel.
I am about to purchase the Canon 6D Mark ii from Amazon, but after watching this video it changed my mind. Thanks for your straight review about this camera!
I do agree dude. As you said, when the cam came out a year ago, nobody talked about it really. Suddenly all the biggest TH-camrs arose some attention around it and all aspiring ones started buying it because the successful told'em to. I've been using Canon t5i for the past 3 years and it's been great for me as it was my first camera. I learned, practiced and it's been performing great. Now it's time for me to upgrade and the first thing I was looking at was the 6d, but you said it all in your video. So I've been looking at the a7s and gh. Think will be the Panasonic tho. Thanks for your review.
"WATCH BEFORE YOU BUY" - lamest, most over used click bait on youtube. Also, screw vloggers! This camera was designed for stills PHOTOGRAPHY! Vloggers shouldn't even have a say, but a video camera ffs.
I'm interested in getting a full frame camera, but I think now might not be the best time to buy. I'm sitting with a Canon M5 because it's just so small for a APSC camera, and I find the image quality that comes out of it is as good as the photo quality on the 80D. Autofocus for photos is a little slower, and video is a little soft, but I still enjoy the adapted lenses I have. I know the flipscreen is a big issue for M5 users not being able to put it on a tripod, but I managed to solve that problem with a 3D printed plate (I made a video of it on my channel!). I'm excited for the rumored 32mm 1.4 to come out, hopefully this means their taking their mirrorless line of lenses a bit more serious now.
Nice comment! Thanks for reaching out. Ya the M50 is a decent camera and cool to see. Rumors of a full frame mirrorless from canon keep floating around so keep your eyes peeled!
Listen to all those praising the 6DMII, the make so many excuses to justify their purchase. "I don't need 4K", "It's a small camera" (No it's not), "It has great 1080p" etc. Sure, I'd have loved the dual-pixel AF, Canon colors and most importantly: Canon lens selection (new and used market). I really wanted to love this camera. But in the end, I ended up going with the Sony system instead. I got a 6 month old Sony A7Rii for cheaper price than a new 6D Mii. Actually, even the A6500 takes phenomenally good video. TH-cam stars talk about the 6DMii cause they have a ton of money, access to free gear and other pro bodies. But for the average person who can only afford one or two bodies and a couple of lenses at most, the 6DM2 is not a great choice. I waited months for this camera to be released. But in the end, I was also pissed at what Canon released. This camera would have been great in 2012, not 2017-18.
Absolutely agree dude! So spot on. Forget the price even. This camera is unacceptable in 2018. Just plain and simple. The 80D out performs it. Insanity.
Was the Image Quality That Bad??? I am only interested for Stills ONLY!!! I want to move from a Crop Censor to Full Frame? And I figure, I would get the Canon 6D Mark II, then when Canon releases the Hopefully New Canon 5D Mark V, The Canon 6D would be my back up? From Images I have seen on Flickr, The Image quality looked pretty good? Your Thoughts? RR
You should change the title of this from "Canon 6D Mark II Review" to "Guy Complains About Canon for 12 Mins".
Hahahahahahaaaaa
EXACTLY!!! 👍👌
Mr Tech 6D mark II has great dynamic range, it may not be the best at iso 100 or 200 but when you push it to ISO 400 it becomes on par with Canon’s professional line of FF cameras. Again do your research and don’t be a slave to spec sheets.
Agree 💯hahahaha
yes. 2years late but yes! hahahaha
Kinotika Thank you!
Venkat Karthik I Agree with you. I'm not into videos
Truer words never spoken. 👏
I have it I only take photos and I love it
I do find TH-cam reviews frustrating for this reason.
@@RichFreeman Spot on! I used mine this weekend and am really excited about the features. If I were shooting videos--I would but a video system.
I started shooting with 6D MKii this weekend in Nashville. Amazing photos! I just shoot stills and am completely satisfied.
Don't bother! Some people don't even have basic knowledge of video/film aesthetics, but I love the way you have explained it here.
Abhinav Varun Revis
My hole thing is about what the human eye can actually see.
Amen!
Its a full frame sensor for $1900.. The amount of lenses available is ridiculous. Its a fantastic camera, its just not for vloggers..
So is a canon 5D mkiii which came out five years ago and is a better camera for the same price.
You're annoyingly sure of yourself.. Its not exactly a good personality trait.. Especially over someting as subjective as camera choice
Thanks bro!
@@Diesel6Power $1000 now
If you paid $1900 for this, at _any_ point, you're an idiot.
My friend bought Canon EOS 6D mark II, I tried it, and I was to happy using it, it is a very good camera!
Glad you liked it!
What if I don't care at all about video? Is this good?
I don't care about video either - it's just me-me-me-millenial 'influencers' just wanting to upload selfie narcissistic videos on TH-cam!
LOL
Good! Glad you like your camera and don't think you were overcharged for it!
Overcharged! It is Canon, I would rather be overcharged by Canon than Sony! Anyway I made the cost back in two jobs. ;-)
The excuses of accepting reality that you made the wrong purchases is that “it’s a full frame” lol
I don't understand your comment Joel. Were you talking to the guy who made the video or myself? If you're talking to me, then I have absolutely no regrets in buying the 6D2. It is a pleasure of a camera.
Do you have anything that you dont like about the Canon 6D II as a photographer ?
Thank you! Not including ALL-I is unacceptable in my opinion
Oh ya totally. A much more bang for buck with the x-h1! The Sony a7iii too is a better option
Weird! Ya I wish it had ALL-I. Idk why they left it out
If video is you main focus, you are right and it shows in your advice: get a GH5 instead... great video, but the photo's: more noise, less color sensitivity and worse in high iso low light photo's.
HAHAHA! Love your authenticity and honesty bro. Subbed!
I have a 6D 2 and I just love it ! The truth is that I do not care about headphone jack and
Thanks for your review! ... but since one week, I have already Canon 6D Mark II ...
Question:
I will like to know how you put your logo in the beginning of your movie (0:16) ...maybe a stupid question )))
Didier | the Netherlands
Awesome! I used Final Cut Pro X to add the graphics. You should check it out
I will ... Thanks so much ...
Hi Jumbo Jet,what camera do you use ? I am also from the Netherlands btw.Ps my dad works at KLM.
Interesting! Thanks for the kind words!
Yes yes yes . u are right, lets wait and see how they will fuck up 7d mark 3
This year we may finally get that! :)
Yup. That would be incredible. But canon is a corporate BS company. It’ll be ten years before we see any growth lol
So does cannon not make 4k cameras because they want people to pay more for their higher up cameras, im confused.
That has been their previous business model. But now things are changing and they are going to start including 4k
Dont even need 4K.... Im perfectly fine with 6dm2
What are your settings?
Great I already bought it.. now I’m kinda doubting
Don't regret, it. It's a good photography camera. There are some good positive reviews out there. This guy is over the top.
what is the brand of your glasses you're wearing? let me know
At 4:02 ... using a cheap crop sensor lens on a full frame camera!? No, that won't get you good results.
Lol ya. Of course. I was using that for another comparison that wasn't related to this video actually. Thats B roll for something else. I was shooting on 24L, 16-35L, and 70-200L only on the 6DII my entire trip and was extremely unimpressed. 5D3 has better results.
how can you attach 10-18mm on 6d2? Mine doesn't fit
@@PeacePham1991 thanks for the explanation man
Thank you for this. Great review!
What do you recommend? Jump ship for the Sony A7III or wait to see what Canon does next?
I loved the SL2 video, keep up the great work
You speak truth #canon
But seriosly, how many of you there use 4k? Its so much more work and time to edit and everybody watches on mobile devices in 1080p. Think about it, why all music videos are still being recorded in 1080p?
Can I use my 10-22 and the kit lens to my canon 80d on this camera?
As for portrait photography instead of videotogrophy do you recommend it?
Yup!
What does 4K mean?
It’s a higher resolution than 1080p. Basically, better video quality.
The Astute Angler 3840x2160 is UHD...4K is 4096x2160 !
so 2x2 ( 2 vertical and 2 horit ) is 4 times the rosolution if i count well ;-)
Thank you.
The only problem with changing brands is all that glass, I have acquired. I would have to spend a mint to match it.
Most honest review about this camera. Thank you! We'll go with the Sony :p A7S ii
Wellllll I mean if you can get a good deal on it it’s not the worst. But if I were you I’d look into either an SL2 or M50
I heard as well - that the 6D Mk 2 is good in low light. Important to me.. for photo shooting.
Thanks for the review. Now I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my 2nd camera - Canon 5D mark2 to the 6D Mark2. Seems like a great camera, except the lack of All-i codec, and the lack of Headphone jack.
Basically, 6D Mark II is the 77D equivalent to 5D Mark IV.
Really good way to put it! I wish Canon would make a 5D IV type camera with a flip out screen.
It does look outstanding seeing things in 4K though!!
Great video
BTW if you are wondering how I found your video. This was a suggested video from another video I was watching and I clicked your video because your channel name looked unique like something I had never seen before and the thumbnail wasn't too shabby. I also run a YT channel and so it helps to know how people come across your vids. Cheers!
Thanks bro!!! Totally. This camera really sucks for the money. So glad you found our channel. I’m having fun making these. I hope to see you around.
HI guys, you two have tested the 80d and the 6d mark 2. I have the 80d and I want to go on a full frame camera. SO if the 6D mark 2, doesn't t worth it, what would be your best advise for me ? Thanks
Jimmy Marone Just go for 6D mark 2. No better option for actual price.
Smart choice! The 5Div is only $1k more and way way way better than 6dII in every way. Thanks for your kind words and for your comment!
I have the 80d, going through the same thoughts whether to get the 6d mk2 or 5d mk4, don't care about the video, everything is pointing to the mk4
@@connormccaskill ONLY $1k more? That's a huge amount of money for most people, I would think. I rarely shoot video, and am wanting to upgrade from a 70D, and was hoping your video was going to help un-muddy the waters.
I agree with you that this camera is not good. I will buy the 5D MK IV before I would buy the 6D MK II. I will keep my 80D for now.
Really? no 4k? I took that as a given for a camera at this price. My phone shoots 4k!
I know! INSANE!
first time i think buy 6dm2 but now i'm so confuse. So you think sonyA7m3 or GH5 is better?
It’s such a tough decision really. If given the option between a7iii and 6d II id choose the a7iii. Out of all three you listed though, personally I’d go GH5 because of the video features
If Canon offers an (A7x, A6x like cameras) Minus the colour science - I will switch blindly. There is a C-level dinosaur forcing these decisions and should be fired 🔥
I know!! If they just added 4K to the 6Dii even without the headphone jack.. it’d be the best youtuber camera on the market
Thank you for this! Prevented me from purchasing one as a replacement for a series of old Canon EOS Crop DSLRs. Let's see if they move away from the IPB, lack of headphone jack and add 2160p60prog in there in the future.
So happy to help you dodge a bullet!
Has a lot of nice features, but man. I just cannot get over the lack of 4k.
Wait, it costs 2000 dollars? Come on son haha
Overpriced and awful quality. A total piece of crap
just watched this after ordering the 6d mii. i’m a bit nervous now but sure for my first ~pro camera it’s gonna be fine
honestly the reason i went for this one is full frame sensor, foldable screen i need for skateboarding and 1080 60p. was thinking about buying nikon d750 but assumed that 2017 camera has much better upgraded technologies
Dude all cameras have they faults , there is no perfect camera out there
Wrong. GH5S for video people is basically perfect. And there is absolutely a perfect camera. They just purposefully don't make it.
A7 iii
It is full frame mate.
micro 4/3 vs FF...pleaseeeeee
Full frame Vs Super 35 on the GH5 with a speedbooster mate. It's an INCREDIBLE camera.
I've been shooting with Canon for 45+ years and it's always come thru for me. So last week I got the 6d2. Haven't really had any time with it but I do wish I would have seen your review BEFORE I got the camera. I guess we'll see how it all works out and thanks for the info on your review.
Do you think the Canon 6D Mkii sucks too? Let us know what you think below!
Only for b-roll 👍🏻
- About the Canon: It has all we were looking for.
Another lack of 4k moaner. The 6D mk2 was never getting 4k to begin with. If you want a camera that does it, buy one, there are plenty to choose from.
What do you think.... between a 6D mark II and 5d mark III? I am confused on which to get for quality shots and video
I wish so bad that they would put a flip out screen on the 5d series. That makes all the difference for me.
Totally. Get a GH5S instead. I am making the switch myself.
The 6D MKII is on sale for $1299. Should I get it to replace my prehistoric 5D MKII?
you just kill my thoughts from Peter mckinnon and Matti hahahahaha but I loved your review! good job!
*slow clap* the honesty
lol. My favorite comment
then what do you recommend to buy for best landscapes photography in full frame in 2000$ range..4k doest not matter as i am not photographer or vlogger..i love stills only
Bro I agree with you . I'm just not impressed with the look of that 6D mark2
It’s like a camera that came out five years ago. 80D is sharper and cleaner and $1,000 cheaper
Totally!!! The new hack for GH5 focus really works too! Amazing stuff
It's business, Canon is clearly going for aftermarket, waiting for all the nerds to switch and sell their gear, just to release a dream come true camera, so everyone will have to switch back and get new set of lenses as well.
That's what I've been thinking like cool other brands have mirrorless, canon can create that as well if they wanted to
Does it have ALL-I codecs ?
*removes this camera from my shopping cart*
Lol
Pls do been trying to sell mine since 1 month..its just a pain to sell.. when I take pictures, it's very very sharp but I do more videos and that us where it sucks. I search for my shadows like am nuts... the highlights just there but where are the shadows.. pls run from this camera if you do a lot of videos but if you are into photos..with a great lens, this is perfect...
You should've bought a video camera. That's a no brainer.
is the 6d2 a worthy upgrade to 80d for photo shooting only? I can count the times I needed 1/8000 sec shutter speed on one finger
Thanks dude for your honest feedback for real, I have been seeing a lot on this camera and I can't believe the 80D is the better camera. keep up the good work💪
My pleasure!
Kinotika 👊🏿
hello Kinotika ! I would like to know if at night we can make beautiful pictures of the starry sky? just in photo not in timelapse ? :)
They’re praising it bcs they’re getting paid “low key” to promote it! 100% guaranteed!
From a fellow Nash(villain) thanks for the vid, I was thinking about upgrading to this. Sounds like the 80D is a better option or is there a better option? The SL2 looks good but I can't imagine buying a Rebel.
Canon has been dragging its ass. Nikon just announce their P1000 with a 3000mm lens...that's innovation.
I am about to purchase the Canon 6D Mark ii from Amazon, but after watching this video it changed my mind. Thanks for your straight review about this camera!
This camera is a no sense even on the canon line-up, at 2k dollars/euros it's just has no sense to exist
THANK YOU! So glad you agree! Thanks for your comment.
A7iii
I think this goes for about 1600 now.
CrexTV
CrexTV - Absolutely agree!
Insanity.
Gonna get the Canon 80D instead along with the Nikon D750 and the Panasonic GH5.
Although I did have hopes for the Canon 6D mark 2.
Very honest review!
Thank you!
RR
A little more actual camera and a little less your face...
which camera you record this video with blue light on background in red jacket ? and lens please . picture is perfect )
