Le verbe to get a de multiples significations en anglais. En effet, vous pouvez le traduire par : avoir, devenir, aller, faire, etc. en fonction du contexte.

Get est un verbe malléable, comme une clé universelle permettant de se tirer de toutes les impasses verbales !
Habiller est un verbe transitif et si on veut l'utiliser en mode pronominal, ce qui est possible en français, qu'à cela ne tienne : on fait appel au get et "get it done"! On reste dans le mouvement/transformation (concept qui devient compréhensible plutôt à la fin de la leçon et probablement avec la pratique. )
"Super verbe" ! Pourquoi pas...je dirais verbe passe-partout qui serait aussi quand-même
utilisé comme en français le verbe faire ...
Les Charlot font l'Espagne, je fais la vaisselle, je fais de l'essence ,etc..

La préposition "down" indique un movement vers le bas, tandis que "off" donne le sens de détacher, d'éloigner. To get off the horse (ou the horse's back) = to get down from the horse (ou the horse's back).
To get off c'est se détacher.
Le plancher du train et le quai sont normalement au même niveau, on dit donc "we get off the train". Mais si on descend du train sur le sol ou un quai au niveau plus bas que le plancher du train, on dit soit "get off" soit "get down from" the train. Comme c'est le cas en français, il faut ajouter la préposition "from" après "get down" (descendre "de")

Hi Adien, greazt video as usual (no, even better!). If you don't mind I would have some questions for you about meanings of To Get, espacially when this verb means "faire faire". I would like to know the exact difference between "To Get someone to do something" and "To make someone do something". For exemple what is the precise difference between "You should get him to pay you back" and "You should make him pay you back", or even "You should have him pay you back"?
Second, can we say "I must have my computer repaired" instead of "I must get my computer repaired"?

There are the same basically, I don't see any big difference here.
To have something done/to get something done = faire faire quelque chose.
To make someone do something/to get someone to do something = faire en sorte que quelqu'un fasse quelque chose.
