To be honest, "get" is the part of English that pisses me off most, even phrasal verbs didn't bring me so much stress. My first language is Russian. When "get" means become, reach, arrive etc. it just doesn't reflect these words logic. I just memorized such combinations and don't even try to understand them rationally.
It’s always the smallest words that are the most illogical 🤣 Sometimes, memorizing frequent word combinations is the only thing we can do. As someone once told me, “You don’t learn a language, you just get used to a language.” Your English is fantastic, by the way! 👏
You have a very clear pronunciation. The word get/got confused me since I was trying to learn English. Some meanings are easy for me, others not really. Thank You for sharing your knowledge with us.
