I bought one when I visited GEC years ago. It was a Blem but I’ve looked the knife over and can’t find where the blem is. It’s definitely a hard use farm knife. I really haven’t used it much. My favorite knife I use on the farm is an OTF knife. My understanding is that GEC does not usually reissue patterns. This knife definitely needs a pocket or belt sheath. I’ll check out your friend. I love the calf pen I used to have two, but it’s such a such a silly blade combination, one blade you can open up if you only have one arm but the other blade you have to have two hands if you want to operate it lol😊
