He ate KFC bones out of the bin two nights before, and his intestines were becoming blocked so his body went into shock. I cried for almost 12 hours straight that day. I just couldn't accept it, that he was never coming back, that the last image I would see of him was his limp, lifeless body. Even his eyes wouldn't move. It's scary how easily lives can be taken away from us. Rest in peace buddy, you're in doggy heaven now.

If you ever decide to give this a try, wear headphones. Gareth Coker's music is an integral part of the entire experience.
These guys mentioned making the game short, and compact, but polished and designed to leave lasting impressions - instead of meanless length. I like that approach - although I hope they deliver to the promise, and put Moon Studios on the map. The talent appears to be there. Also, emotional storytelling seems to be something that will be reliably delivered in this game. The music, and everything after 1:17 made my room extremely dusty.
it took me ten hours although some of the time went into exploring rather than just finishing my actual mission. still, 10 hours are more than what you get out of recent AAA titles. it's an ok time for a platformer and the value you get out of the game is incredible considering it only costs ~20€ (whatever that is in $ ._. i'm too lazy to look that up)

Watching someone's reaction while seeing the first 8 to 9 minutes of this game is a good way to spot a psychopath right away. If he/she doesn't feel (at least) the need to cry, be alert.

this game was amazing. the visuals and sounds are perfect from start to finish obviously and it was also SO rewarding and fun to see how Ori becomes more and more powerful and nimble throughout the adventure... towards the end it felt like you were almost "soaring" at ease through this stunning world, it was incredible. the difficulty was also perfect, as a "platformer noob" myself i found it to be quite challenging towards the second half of the game but oh boy is it a satisfying feeling when something that seemed IMPOSSIBLE to get through finally works out after several attempts. seriously a 5/5 no questions asked, a little on the short side (it took me 10 hours to complete) but the play time you get is among the greatest i have experienced from start to finish in quite a while.
