Found your channel about 5 days ago, and I think I've watched at least half of all your videos! Been waiting for this one, awesome stuff man, keep it up. Thank you so much!
I figured you might be right over the septic tank. If you ask the owner about the septic, most of the time the homeowner says, "What?" I was looking for the big truck to drop through any moment. You're a hoot. Great videos 👍, and as ya say... Eaglegards...
Nice job! You handle that MACK like a TONKA TOY and 'tailgate' product very well. (Nice truck too!) Love the bucket work too. The way you folded that sod in the bucket, it could have been reused to make someone a nice lawn. Also like how ole ORANGE puts the finishing touches on for you (with your help!) That came out really well! Thanks for another. Sonny
My first observation is that the dirt is a nice color and looks so rich! Excellent work, love the way you scraped the topsoil off the ground sir! Again you are the Master Operator and this is your lane... creating roads, driveways, etc.
BTW, I was expecting to see snow ☃️ after the last video? But it was a glorious sky and a super sunny day. Albeit a tad windy!!!! 🌬😄 Wowee what a fantastic view from up there!! Great job x x x
I like watching your videos, have for over a year now. I do work on the side and have a new kx040-4 mini and an older Gehl 4835sxt skid steer with a harley rake and soil preperator, which I rarely use, the harley rake does great on its own. Questions. Why do you not run a skid steer? Could you also do a break down on the different types of rock, and how to best use it. The terminology is different in different areas, I can see. Think it might make a good video. Thanks for taking time to do videos.
Hi Todd, this video was really good and interesting and I also have to say that Willard is most definitely a sound investment for your business, as you have been able to haul more road bond to this job site in half the time than it would have taken with a single axle truck. May Willard bring you even more work and I will look forward to seeing your next video and TaRa for a bit.
Here’s a tip for you , if you have your chains set at the length you want to spread gravel paint it with whatever color you want , that way you can reset your chains without having to count them every time . Have a good day 👍 ✋
I was wondering if you have You're machine working and you're Tractor sitting All day You still get paid for it Or just the ones that you use that day.... Just wondering thanks
Do you feel like now that you have a skid steer would you have used only it on this job? Would it have made the job a lot quicker? I’m a skid steer guy with a bunch of attachments. It’s always interesting to see you use the tractor because I’ve never been around one and have no idea how to use one. Tractor vs Skid steer. What do you think?
I live in the mountains of North Idaho and I need to touch up my road. I've never done this before and would like your advice. The road seems to be pretty compacted overall with a few exceptions. The Base rock is exposed on the curves of my switchback and some erosion. This is my first gravel road and I know that it hasn't had any rock added to it in over 6 years. I just bought a CAT skid steer and a dump trailer. Questions: 1. Do I need to "rip up the road or can i dump gravel right on top? 2. What type of gravel should i get? 3. How much gravel (height inches), should I dump? 4. skid steer should work, right? 5. what is the difference between "Road Bond" and "Gravel?" 6 Should I lay down Road Fabric? 7. What type of Fabric should I use? Sorry for all the questions. I've seen a bunch of your videos and love them all! By the way, I have an Airbnb over here looking over the lake. If you and your wife are looking for a vacation in this area, I would love to host you, on me of course! Thanks for your time.
Just curious why not just buy a tandem if u can only haul 16 tons? Or would it be way less on it. I guess our rules here r way diff than u. Nice job sir as usual. Hope ol Mack holds up well 4 u man. Crazy how grass n places grows like crazy on red dirt. Others just weeds
What do you think about pouring a concrete curb around the sides and back of the crushed rock pad? Include several drain holes on each side to make sure water can run out.
All facets of the project are contingent upon the budget of the customer ! Additional enhancements that add value to the property , and profit for the contractor might be approved !
@@joedoakes8307 Great way to state the situation. Perhaps have a standard estimate to offer the possible customer in the early stages of the conversion about the project.
Hey Todd, nice job! Got a question for you, how wide is your box blade? I went back and watched a couple of the vids when you got yours and your review on it. Been looking for a larger box to replace my 6 footer since I got a bigger tractor, and a heavy one too, my old Kodiak ripped the shanks in the big tube steel catching roots. I like the way E.A. has the shanks on the backside of the main tube so it doesn't weaken it. Not to many good, HD box blades out there. I'm going to step up to the 60-125 HP box and was thinking of going with the 96" wide model. I don't need the floating gate so I'll just keep it pined. Thanks for the heads up on where to get a good one at, I'll be sure to tell Ted you sent me.
Well we know what you had for lunch. On the windy day a mouthful of red dirt. Lol Yes I hate it when it gets in your teeth also. I like the long videos.
I cant understand why you didnt just do the scalping/loading with the excavator and the grading with the tractor, wouldve been quicker production and less wear on machine
Perfect length video...ham & cheese omelet, 2 slices of toast and 2-1/2 cups of coffee long. Good job Todd!
Good video
Loved the 1 hour video, the drive and carport looked fantastic Todd.
Todd, with this video I enjoy watching your skills with the excavator... you move the dirt so smoothly and easily! I continue to enjoy your videos.

My favorite part is watching the grading bucket. It strips that grass off the top like smooth butter.
Nice work!!!

Great video Todd. Looks like some of that Georgia red mud made all the way to Leicester. Hope all is well with the family.
good work love the content. thank you for the good info and tricks of the trade.
Hi from sunny California ,
Todd, I think you could shave with that tractor and box. Great professional job.
Thx

He sounds like my old tool pusher lol.
nice work mate ! my life long dream is to become a skilled operator, I just have to remember it takes time in the seat and patience as you know!
That’s right!
Where is this property located? That soil or clay looks so good....

I wills still use my tractor. But I am finding that the skid is way better sir some things.
Great video. Do you have a license for dirt workin NC.
The 2nd tailgate was much better, not bad rookie 😆
That loader operator got a voice for radio.
Since fabric wasn't put down, I'm really surprised you didn't hiit that with a box blade first.

Spreading was awesome for the first time in the Mack

You should put a turning knob on your steering wheel
can you haul a full 15 tons in your mack and still be legal ?
Hi Todd, can I ask why you didn't scrape the grass off this driveway, before tailgating the roadbond? Won't the weeds and grass grow back through?
They would grow back even if I scraped it off before hand
Tell us about the operation of the third axle.
People will often comment about crap they don't know. Don't let it get to ya bud.
No worries hero!
What do you think about pouring a concrete curb around the sides and back of the crushed rock pad? Include several drain holes on each side to make sure water can run out.
A person could definitely do that.

Not under the carport

Mine is 8 feet wide
LandPride makes a heavy high back model that my Kubota dealer told me about. I got the 7’ one and like it.
2500-2500 in profit or in total what your charge?
Home depot sells lasers pretty reasonable price good starter lasers. Like 500$
Do you have inter axle differential lock?
Nope. It's kind of like limited slip.
You said Leicester? Where about you actually located I’m in Clyde lol
