How does the guild character work ? Can he take as many seals as long as he gives one dice ? If not then wat is his advantage? Really just using one dice for one guild seal ? That seem pretty weak ?
34:11 You have a 8.37% chance of rolling the sum of 15 on five dice. Three times in a row? That's a chance of 0.0586%, or roughly 1 in 1700.
So, not one in a million, but still pretty special. :)

Great tutorial! I know this is an old video but @29:48 can you put the black dice there to move? there is already a black dice (same color) in that same spot.

you put two black dice onto a single stack, is black special that way or should it follow the rule of "never more then one die of the same color?"
I should have been more explicit, sorry. Black dice don’t count as a color in this way, so multiple black dice can go into a single blue location. It’s only player colors that are restricted to one die per blue action spot.

I don’t know about the original game but it’s explicit in the Marco Polo 2 rules I downloaded from the z-man website.

Thanks for this video, Jon! I used it to learn the game and a friend and I tried playing it today. There is something that doesn't feel right to us and, I've found, when something doesn't feel right it's wrong. My friend had Abha Basu. We estimate he must have gotten around 20 VP just from earning jade which is accompanied by points. When, specifically, does the bonus 1 VP/jade apply? It cannot be whenever he gets jade, but how else can you interpret the wording in the supplement: "Whenever you receive jade from any source, you score 1 point for each jade you received." This is way too powerful and I don't think you played it this way.

For whoever that played this game: How does the dice roll affecting your game? Is it adding complete random elements or it could be mitigated when needed?
In the first game, if you rolled a sum of 14 or less, you get compensated with camels and/or coins, so you have a sum of 15. So let's say you roll 7, then you get 8 pips worht of camels/coins in a combination of your liking. I think they keep that in MP2.
