Change your daily routine. Start with changing your habits because that's what makes us. Playing video games all day is a habit, it maybe seem hard and impossible to break BUT if you give your all, it's possible. Try new things. Something you're really interested in and when you find it, don't stop fighting for it.

I can relate to your story very well. I've taken a year off after high school because I didn't know what my passion was. I'm still struggling to decide what's right for me. But I've made a promise to myself that I'll not leave my passion behind to make money. If I can get just enough money to live a normal life but I can do what I love, it's worth it. At the moment i graduate from school with the A level. I tried talking to my friends asswell about our passion, but as you said they felt kind of weird about me and just said yeah we will just study and then work in a theme we don’t even like.

After a few years of struggle trying various creative work profiles at ad agencies and film studios, I settled as a full-time journalist in mainstream print media. Quit Bombay and relocated to Calcutta in mid-2012 and have since then been struggling as a freelance copywriter. Although not schooled or trained, and self-taught, I've talents in illustration, writing, etc. Have been procrastinating in starting a TH-cam channel for years. Now completely drained of savings, in no position to buy a DSLR with a good lens... Can I start with a smartphone with a reasonably good camera?
