Before spending Sixty Thousand on a New Mustang, i would take my hard earned Money and buy this favorite 1969 Fast Back. Absolutely Beautiful. Berry does it again!!!
With him buying virtually all the cars it's really not even an auction? Only question is will someone else run the price up on him or not? Personally I would of quit bidding once I saw who it was I was up against. Let him have it cheap and then see how much Barry loves him or not? LOL, .....😂
The guy I work with for years is 57 and tells me amazing stories of his older brothers 1970 stock Boss 429 he had and my friend got to ride in all the time. The Car would literally shake all the windows in his house when his brother fired it up. NO car could catch it period. It was a Hurst 4 speed and could get rubber in any gear at any time. That is the car I would like to build if given the money and time. I grew up in those times and they were as Great as you think they were.... RH DSD
Not normally a Mustang guy BUT this one turned out very nicely. LOL, you can tell how old the shows are when they start talking about the $$ spent on parts etc. 😊
This show was too much gimmick and not enough getting down to business. When I watch a car build, I want to see a car build not drama that's improvised to make a show....
Ardell Brown the gentleman who bought the 69 mustang is a legitimate car collector and the purchase was not staged, i saw this same car in his collection 6 years later during a tv interview in 2012. he passed away in march 2018 ,some of his his collection was sold off at mecum auctions las vegas in 2018
Did you notice they had a Pope JPII's 1.1 Mk2 Ford Escort for sale in the auction, it went for $690,000! No big block no mad wheels just a great back story, think old Barry is in the wrong game, lol.
guys, plain washers behind the lock nuts, mask up painted parts to avoid damage, most builds done in a rush are a comedy of errors and a lack of attention to detail, plan your build earlier, do a rough build so you have all the parts, do an unequaled job without compromise and get top dollar for your work. big thumbs up for the fire service
The 69 mustang factory "competition " rear leaf assy at its stock height works amazing (stock for boss or shelby ,and boss larger front sway bar ) . Thicker leaf with less arc + use stagger shock plate
Agreed. those wheels look ghetto,as do the tires. Original magnum500s or classic Cragar S/S would have been a better choice. Also, should have kept the original steering wheel, and shifter. oh, and i would have added rear window louvers. other than that--awsome car!!
He challenged himself to do 10 cars in 10 months. I agree with you though, all of these kind of shows always have a very tight deadline for no real reason. I would enjoy it just as much if they built the car over 6 months, it makes no difference to me
Actually even in the late 60s there were some really solid, race worthy auto transmissions, like Chrysler's torqueflite 727 (ate up 60hp, but returned the favor by being virtually indestructible)
Automatic transmission do perform way beter and faster than most driver ever will with a manual one... And I am not even talking about JATCO CVT... They blow your manual transmission any time.
Have to consider the probable age of the buyer, bad knees and hips. I would definitely prefer manual, but I don't have 60k to drop on a pleasure cruiser, and I don't know a single person my age who does.
Great job on bodywork! Then throw all new mechanicals at it....every single time!! The sketch guy draws something and the body shop does a great job, followed by an interior trim team! And the wheels!! 🤷🏼♂️
What's with the rear leaf springs? I though this was a "Super muscle car" and they were using 21st century parts! An upgraded rear suspension to me should include independent rear suspension! However leaf springs and a solid axle = muscle car to me too so idk!!! But I think there is deffinately a better way!
Back end is a little bit high but otherwise a beautiful beast and I want it and I have built several of these beauties but it took a little longer than three weeks.
Designer: Hey guys I got news for you...I will always walk in during an episode and be late with car parts orders, it’s my job to be incompetent every single time!
To be fair, if during a restoration the busiest guy is the “parts guy” and not the mechanics than there’s a major issue....also these muppets were welding and grinding at the same time the paint guy was polishing the paint!?!
Just cause you don’t like it doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t so I wish you guys would shut up and stop complaining about something that’s not actually yours
Really? a 351 and a C4? could of been so much better and pulled so much more profit with a race built 427/428/429 Cobra Jet and a modern 6 speed. And those wheels? Clown bling at best.
I could be wrong but if Ardell is a real buyer he will have a hard time getting his money back when he sells it. That car just isn't worth 56k, I've seen small block Shelby's go for that. And those chrome K-Mart mirrors on the doors and those wheels are awful!
Nope, he's a real buyer and that car was worth that all day long. When they did this show, they didn't factor in $90 an hour for labor. This was easily a $100,000 car, easily. The car just recently sold to someone in Florida for $59,000 11 years later!
Before spending Sixty Thousand on a New Mustang, i would take my hard earned Money and buy this favorite 1969 Fast Back. Absolutely Beautiful. Berry does it again!!!
barry?
Barry says, [Wish we had a team like this on every car] what a slam to the loyal workers he's got.
Exactly 💯
Barry is toxic
I love this car it's awesome and you're awesome I don't know why no one likes this show
That Ardell guy is probably hired to win all the auctions
With him buying virtually all the cars it's really not even an auction? Only question is will someone else run the price up on him or not? Personally I would of quit bidding once I saw who it was I was up against. Let him have it cheap and then see how much Barry loves him or not? LOL, .....😂
"There's no sitting when you working with cars"...damn right ma'am... Daaaamn fuckiiiing rrriiiiighttt!!!!

250,000 thousan dollars one sold for in 2012
The fire service men have done a good job, Respect for these people.
And it is a very nice car and beautiful. A beast.
👊
years later, here i am still appreciating there work, 2019
I love the way that one looks and I love the way the back tires are and the gold rims look real good too and it sounds good too
But should have wider rubbers on the back of the beast and is a beauty
Not normally a Mustang guy BUT this one turned out very nicely. LOL, you can tell how old the shows are when they start talking about the $$ spent on parts etc. 😊
I like how they encounter a problem then seem to not have time to fix it...then whattayakow, they fix it right on time.
WHY?!?! Just why. Every time they put on horrendous wheels..
Matt Bolt seems like berry is black inside
Matt Bolt it's not ,i saw it in real .....
Not everyone wants drag radials
I second that, horrendous wheels
@@yourhighness865 you saw it for real in your dreams
At least this one is a real winner if you swap wheels out. I would take her!
i do think its one of the best looking ones they've done
They really like their non-functioning hood scoops
This show was too much gimmick and not enough getting down to business. When I watch a car build, I want to see a car build not drama that's improvised to make a show....
Brent then do your own show..of car restoration..
Yip.... thats why i watch Hagerty alot
Yes, less drama, more cars.
too high in the rear and gold wheels?
Beautiful car. 69 my favorite mustang. Just bought one for my wife. This summer, its my turn. The only difference, we drive them on nice days.
Ardell Brown the gentleman who bought the 69 mustang is a legitimate car collector and the purchase was not staged, i saw this same car in his collection 6 years later during a tv interview in 2012. he passed away in march 2018 ,some of his his collection was sold off at mecum auctions las vegas in 2018
you saw a red 69 mustang this is reality tv bullshit
Wow a 69 fastback is my dream car!! I had to settle for a 71 bronco and a 69 Cougar XR7 but maybe some day!!
The most beautiful musclecar ever. THE 69 MUSTANG FASTBACK.
Did you notice they had a Pope JPII's 1.1 Mk2 Ford Escort for sale in the auction, it went for $690,000! No big block no mad wheels just a great back story, think old Barry is in the wrong game, lol.
my fav muscle car is a 69 mustang just like he just said this guys no what there doing and they get the job done right.
LOVE their builds.. HATE at least most of the wheels...
The car is great really hate the gold rims
Barry can’t really complain about the chairs, they’re still working and they’re working for free
guys, plain washers behind the lock nuts, mask up painted parts to avoid damage, most builds done in a rush are a comedy of errors and a lack of attention to detail, plan your build earlier, do a rough build so you have all the parts, do an unequaled job without compromise and get top dollar for your work. big thumbs up for the fire service
Yeah these firemen 🚒 got after it and would have to be looking hard to find defects but it has to be a few
My fave is the '69 coupe
understated, underrated
i've watched 3 espisodes of this show so far. suspension of disbelief went out of the window ... for so many reasons.
The 69 mustang factory "competition " rear leaf assy at its stock height works amazing (stock for boss or shelby ,and boss larger front sway bar ) . Thicker leaf with less arc + use stagger shock plate
Car looks good. But those rims would have to go . Too much bling.
Agreed. those wheels look ghetto,as do the tires. Original magnum500s or classic Cragar S/S would have been a better choice. Also, should have kept the original steering wheel, and shifter. oh, and i would have added rear window louvers. other than that--awsome car!!
Dave Sawdey my thoughts exactly.
backspace4093 gundammakatha movee
Big goofy rims can look clownish.
yep the rims are so messud up who the fuck chooses gold when it's red silver and black. In my opinion they should've picked silver rims
why don''t they just buy rims that actually look great with the stance of a car
Rear tyres are way too big. I prefer same size rear and front.
Was hoping for barry to sing some classics
why would you drag the old wiring harness?
My thoughts exactly
Why do they always have a deadline. They probably know the auction happening months before.
I think it was some kind of challenge thing...10 cars, 10 auctions, four weeks from wreck to finish for each effort.
He challenged himself to do 10 cars in 10 months. I agree with you though, all of these kind of shows always have a very tight deadline for no real reason. I would enjoy it just as much if they built the car over 6 months, it makes no difference to me
jid de
Fake drama
@@MetalMonkey bitchin rides is more realistic, saw some builds on there take 2+ yrs
Get you some of that. Wooooooooooooo!
1969 Ford Mustang Fastback
16:30 Engine Coming
32:44 before And After
Its always cringe when they say super muscle car
It's more cringe looking at your dumbass then saying super muscle car
Body filler muscle car I would say 🤣🤣🤣
Waiting for them to sat super duper muscle car!
performance motor, then an automatic transmission! it makes you want to cry.
Automatic Transmissions have gotten so good now that it doesnt make sense to put a manual into it however I agree it should be manual
Nowadays yes but this is just a trash torque converter auto that just transfers the power and is slow at shifting in anything but a straight line
Have to consider the probable age of the buyer, bad knees and hips. I would definitely prefer manual, but I don't have 60k to drop on a pleasure cruiser, and I don't know a single person my age who does.
All around nice looking car . Might have went with a standard transmission but all in all a nice unit
Yeah I would have went with a 4 or 5 speed trans
I think the show is fake. the same guy is buying all of the cars
Because he knows quality when he sees it.
if I was the seller I wouldn't smile ear to ear in front of the buyers as they are bidding..also not getting the math..is his labour free?
One day I'm gonna buy a 69" Mustang
This thing is beautiful.
lets see how well they do if ardell doesnt come to their rescue everytime lol
Ardell is dead now in fact I haven't seen any of |Barry's cars in years at the Nevada Auctions maybe he retired when Ardell kicked off.
Great job on bodywork! Then throw all new mechanicals at it....every single time!! The sketch guy draws something and the body shop does a great job, followed by an interior trim team! And the wheels!! 🤷🏼♂️
They ruined it by adding such big wheels in the back
Right, and they had to make the stance too high so those oversize tires would clear in the back. Wrong choice of wheels & tires.
You guys have no clue what you are talking about so please keep your dsl shut
A stunning car for sure.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching.
Guy : How much?
JW : excuse me.?
Guy : How much for the car?
JW : she's not for sale.

💖💖💖👍✨✨✨great cars
ever notice the car buyers are almost the same ones in every episode?
Yeap they r ther to make the bid uppp all the time thats my friends its SCAMMMM.
Adel is a car mule that's all he does. But sadly Adel brown just died in 2018
Rich collectors buy more than one car ya know.
The rear rims and tires are too big! It looks goofy! Also in my oppinion the stripe on the side is to low!
That seems like one hell of a deal for this car.
sorry guys didnt mean to fight with u all my voices got going i love u all everybody.
I like this channel this is awesome I like cars
is cool
What's with the rear leaf springs? I though this was a "Super muscle car" and they were using 21st century parts! An upgraded rear suspension to me should include independent rear suspension! 🔥 man might be contemplating career change
Wow!!🔥
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for Watching & Subscribing!
The back wheels and tires look way to big for this car.
as i clicked it i said to myself lets see this hack build
The reward was the free labour I think!
🚗 car should go over one hundred thousand dollars A few years back I had a 67 fast back with 428 and toploater wint one hundred thousand dollars
same guy buys all the cars, most of these shows the cars end up sitting around the shop after they are supposedly sold
If u leave it in parking lot it will get stolen
and this mustang wont see the daylight in a looong time..
I like your show, but nooses are nothing to joke about !!!
Back end is a little bit high but otherwise a beautiful beast and I want it and I have built several of these beauties but it took a little longer than three weeks.
429 4spd makes this car so much better. Gold rims are hideous.
They have yet to pick out wheels that look good on any car
SHANE RYMER THE THE OTHER
Not true
so beautiful ! good job
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for Subscribing

I don't like it's stance, the wheels suck, and it's an automatic, three strikes, you're out. Coulda been A LOT better looking, with different rims.
brown again bought the car.
damn. i want that car
Gold rims are hideous.
And the Walmart hood scoop is cheap looking.
it is a factory hood scoop, non functional same as the side scoops
I don't know who's stupider, the guy designing those god awful wheels, or the boss that approved of them...
i agree
Gary wood u hav great taste and wud build a better car ! But spend ur self out of profit
Just cause you don’t like it doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t so I wish you guys would shut up and stop complaining about something that’s not actually yours
they got those wheels for free from the sponsors, no one is stupid there
@@Potato-lw3fe if they gottem for free prove it

Should have put different wheels and a 5.0 in it
My favorite car, just wish it had been painted metallic forest green.
I like that green too !
What channel was this show airing on?
Discovery channel
Tanks pal😊

Why you guys upload only 360p videos what is the problem, upload HD?????
the couple seems to be at every auction but never buy
The husband wife team seem to bid on everything but buy nothing. I've seen them on so many episodes I think they are planted just to drive up bids.
Fake blonde.
The back should be lowered and need a better wheels
in my shop ther is no grinding or welding done after paint.thats always done before.
Yeah. Didn't understand that myself.
He missed 20k extra on the mustang over just poor choices
If he lost that much prove it. Which you can't so whatever you say is pointless
It looked better when it was just plain red
SWEET !
Got to the point that I just swipe till the last 5 mins
the goldish rims do not match with red man come on.....
I love the stance so much. Can you tell me the wheel/tire combo sizes? I would love to do this to my 70 Mach 1. Thanks
Gold rims what car do they look good on.
This show has the same two guys bidding on their cars at the end, that one guy Arnel I think is paid to buy their cars! 🤔
Killed the looks with them ugly ass wheels.
Doesn't anyone make Mag wheels anymore
I could be wrong but if Ardell is a real buyer he will have a hard time getting his money back when he sells it. That car just isn't worth 56k, I've seen small block Shelby's go for that. And those chrome K-Mart mirrors on the doors and those wheels are awful!
Kimberlyexpects I believe he's a fake buyer because I think that's the same guy who bought the camero in episode two for &56,000
