lose the drama, keep your viewers. The kind of folks who like to watch old cars being rebuilt are not part of the lowest common denominator... they are not drama needy voyeurs.
I know right! It's like the premise for every one of these shows is the same. "Oh I have a Trans Am I just pulled out of the crusher, it's 93% rust but I want to put it in a show. Oh when is the show? 3 hours.....ok sure let's do it" So annoying. Get rid of the drama and i'll pay to watch every episode.
The car looks great and made a profit which helped the family business. In addition, he repaired the hurt that his daughter encountered. Regardless if her new car sets for years, it's a connection that she has with her dad and some day the new car will get finished for her to enjoy. I Enjoyed the show !
This is the third or fourth one of these videos from this guy that I've watched, and in each of them he's had just "four weeks" to get it built. WHY????? That reason is never stated. It's just an attempt to create suspense. Auctions come along all the time. There's no reason to do a rush job. Take your time, do it right, then wait for the next auction to come around to sell. No stress.
she's an adult she should understand that this is a business you cant leave a car sitting for over a year and not do anything with it, then get upset, plus he own the title to the car. I understand thats his daughter but she better get over that shit.
Am I the only one that saw the ignition switch was installed where the lighter goes in a 69? The 1968 Chevelle was the last year to have a dash mounted switch @ 33:22
Noticed it too! Cuz I happen to own A few 68 Chevelles. Would NEVER build one into A 'Resto Mod'! Just like Pro Street in the 80's-Style will be DATED soon enough.
This Ardell guy knows what he wants and where the quality is. He just goes where these guys show up, and gets whatever they have built. He gets these iconic muscle cars, now modernised and made to perfection. This cars can now sit in his garage for 30 years and increase their value tenfold...
I love it. Not a fan of the Orange but Hey it looks great I wouldn't say No to it. Loving the whole new car feel in amazing American Muscle it's the perfect mix real Cars Full Send U.K.
Her dad probably bought her that Chevelle. My dad when I asked for a 75 Chevy Nova laughed and said it would be to much horsepower and I'd wreck it... Only classic I will ever get is the one I buy and build myself haha
The prices they keep quoting for paint on this show is off the wall! No way There's $4000 in paint on that car. And the fake drama: "I can't get paint delivered on time!" Geeez! I can drive 30 minutes to the nearest big city and pick up any color I want today!

Weird seeing a hood like that, that has no SS badge on the grille in front of it, and a little weirder seeing 68 ignition key (on the dash and not on the column) in that 69.
I think the problem is that he just decided to use it without talking to her about it first. It is her car, what she does or doesn't do with it it is her decision. You don't have to agree with her treatment of the car but again it's her car. If I had a project car that was my dream car I would be furious if this happened. Dream Car= 1970 454 automatic el camino with bench seat, preferably in any color other than red. Bench seats are hard to find most have bucket seats which i hate.

The 69 Chevelle came out great except for that curl on the back quarter panel of the curl on the stripe I don't like how it comes forward if anything that could have been pointed the other way but I wouldn't put the curl on it I would have kept the stripe more Yanko stylish looks nice nice nice car
With absolutely NONE of the modern amenities that this Chevelle contains. Hence why both a numbers matching OG and a resto-mod can fetch the same price tag.
I’ve watched about 6 of these episodes and I am really bored with the format. It is very redundant. Always the same old thing. You visit the junkyards and can’t find the car you want, then finally Chris comes up with a car online. Then issues with getting parts or something that doesn’t fit, and all the interstitials where they show the auctions several times during the show. I love the work they do, and I love watching these cars being built, but the actual redpetative format of the show is annoying.
Same guy that bought the Camarro. I think he's from Colorado. He must have quite a collection. I drove those cars back in the '60s and I'm not a purist. If they can add more muscle to the product why not do it? And leather seats sound a lot better than vinyl. My preference is still Mopar, though.

She's upset she has to drive a minivan instead of the car ? What? The car had nothing in it for over a year. She hasn't drove for a year? And she is just now getting a minivan?

Faster turn around means fast cash .
Maybe because he only wants to pay his workers one month salary for each project 😄
