Actually there's more people doing good music like this than ever before. It may not be on the radio or on mainstream TV. However it's out there and all over. Go to any music festival for a weekend here in the midwest and I see all kinds of amazing and talented bands. The internet and being able to mass market yourself without needing major labels and business money to decide if you are worth hearing has made for a bright new age of tunes!

What a nice composition, Juna! I like that jazzy feel to it, just enough rap at the right places, the accompaniment of a trombone and a saxophone, groovy singers and of course your marvelous performance!

Juna Serita is both beautiful and talented. I first discovered her on videos with Shoka Okuba (great blues guitarist in her own right!), playing blues. I was impressed by Juna's smooth, perfect timing, so essential for greatness on bass. Juna Serita has shown she can play beautifully with any genre of music, blues, rock, funk and jazz. nobody who ever tried playing stuff like that, jazz or funk or else, with at least 5 decent musicians knows how hard it really is to be that tight on the brass section plus the rest, and not sounding like a lame duck. that takes some really good musicians. nice, really nice. thx juna
