Actually there's more people doing good music like this than ever before. It may not be on the radio or on mainstream TV. However it's out there and all over. Go to any music festival for a weekend here in the midwest and I see all kinds of amazing and talented bands. The internet and being able to mass market yourself without needing major labels and business money to decide if you are worth hearing has made for a bright new age of tunes!

Juna Serita is both beautiful and talented. I first discovered her on videos with Shoka Okuba (great blues guitarist in her own right!), playing blues. I was impressed by Juna's smooth, perfect timing, so essential for greatness on bass. Juna Serita has shown she can play beautifully with any genre of music, blues, rock, funk and jazz. I would have killed to play with a bass player of your quality back in the day. I've played with many great ones and you my dear are right up there with them. You keep on slapping the crap out of that Friggin Bass. You go girl What are your touring dates the rest of the year? I will be in Japan for about the next 4 months.
