- The Air Jordan 1 continues to impress in 2022 with the "Dark Marina Blue" colourway, which is set to release in February. Featuring a combination of smooth black and blue coloured leather, a white midsole breaks up the upper, and all the classic details remain like a nylon tongue and a solid rubber outsole. I prefer this color over the royal ones and already got this pair. The pair looks so different with black or white laces. A definite pair to have.
These are a must cop. I missed on all Royal 1s including mids. I really hope most people pass so I can finally get a chance to get them.

I really like the colour blocking on these, same with the shadow 2.0s from last year, also a different variation of a hyped/famous colourway. Shame the materials aren't the best on these either, though...

@@ballsdeep9400 1🎯🎯% I *know* thats right! I got some blue/white/black shifted sport 550s (too small, feels cheap on foot, "leather" feels like vinyl) and some in the shadow colorway, sized up TTS +0 5 that I have not worn yet, because... I have dozens of other shoes that look & feel better.
Teddy Santis got in there as creative director or whatever and they've done nothing but churn out totally average, pre-aged new/vintage bullsh*t and ugly collabs. Kinda getting away from what made the brand: neutral colorways of beloved, time-proven designs, constructed of high-quality suede, ideally MIUSA.

@@hgr.7857 Teddy Santis got lucky because pre aged shoes are in style right now, but he’s a one trick pony one the trend passes like all trends pass he’s a dead man walking. NB 550s are already dying because they all look so similar lol, a little off white with a faded color on some parts and rinse and repeat.

The leather quality is way better on the Marina’s then the Fusion’s for sure.

An honest drop for me. Just wait till all content creator start hyping them up and see all the viewers going to go and try for em. It won't changed the way I feel for the Marina. The only jordan 1 on my radar are the Stage Haze. Will go all in for those release

These are a must cop for me, but how is that going to be possible, when bots and resellers suck up all hyped shoes before anyone who just wants one stinkin pair can get to them?
Quality on the leather reminds me of the Shadow 2.0's which was stiff. Pollens had similar leather but a bit softer.
My pair was way softer than the Shadow 2.0

They should've used the tumbled black leather like on the Pollens!!! I hate when shoes come out the same price and style as others and they completely miss with the materials, this black leather looks really stiff and crease prone. I'd still love a pair but was sad to see the materials are so bland when they've been killing these colorways
I dun have the OG Royals cuz they're so limited in volumn but these are great as I just got'em today. Sizes went quickly. Was able to grab a US9.5 🙏 Quality is good everything on par. BTW.. it smells like how AJ1 should... sniff sniff. Have great week 😎👍

I wish reviews incorporated a crease test, because the way some sneakers crease up is a deal breaker for me. For example, shadow 2.0 look fantastic new but then look absolutely horrible after they’ve been worn. It’s hard to tell if these will be as bad

Love the colorway. Marina hits NOICE. The black portions look like All durabuck (smooth buck) and not leather whatsoever. The blue portions look like leather was mostly used, save for maybe the swoosh. Royals in 2017 were hardly any better tho: all black durabuck with tumbled royal blue.

Hey Sean! Quick question, you stated that these usually run true to size and based off your other videos I know you’re a true size 10, which I am as well. Did you get your pair in a size 10? Or a 9.5? From what I’ve heard some people go down half a size for a better fit, but I wanted to know what size you personally went with.

Nice colorway but can Jordan brand just give us great quality shoes all the time? The leather on Jordan 1s were either decent or bad but not excellent. I just got a pair of pillar destroyer 1 with top notch quality. Compared to this pair it is night and day.

This is my one of my least favorite colorblockings on the Jordan 1, I HATE how JB always does this, where they release all the Jordan 1s in the same colorblocking. Neither the Shadow 2.0s, nor the Pollens did it for me too… 🥴
