Sup bro... 14 14-year owner of the gencoupe since it came out.. bought it in 2010...the leaks from the tail are from an issue from the factory. The tails did not sit flush with the body of the car, allowing water that's supposed to drain around the trunk liner that's suppose to route around the tail and down to the bottom of the trunk, well now that water goes down between the tail light and the body, which then gets the water to the trunk and even in the rear passenger seats. Was mainly an issue with BK1's (2010-12). BK2's (which you have) was not as common as they had a different tail design, but now you're rocking aftermarket tails. The fix that most members did was apply tape to the top part of the tail so it blocks the water and allows it to flow around the right way. You're steering wheel especially since its happened with 3 different wheel's and the fact its happening after certain MPH sounds more like an alignment issue. Can also be if you're wheels are not properly balanced/were you spacers installed correctly? Were lugs to both your spacers AND wheels torqued down to proper spec using star pattern technique? Rigid collar kit helps with stability going over bumps. It won't stop the steering wheel shake. Also I installed the rigid collar kit myself, just need jack stands and a cordless impact gun L3usta on isnta ... 3 piece wheels/bagged/bumper conversion.. a whole buncha shit lol
Just recently started noticing a shake between 70-80 myself. Had the tires balanced at discount twice said they were good, took it took the dealer because I still noticed a shake and they said it was a bent front end link ( probably from doing whippies😬😂) Waiting on that part but they checked the balance and said it was 5oz off, but it was a way worse shake, couldn’t even go over 60, took it back to another discount and they said it was off on like 2 tires, like one was 1.5oz and the other was .25oz one front one back, drove it today and could barely notice the shake still but it was there almost convinced myself it was gone😂 But still waiting on the part to get replaced for end result. Noticed my steering rack is leaking a little, possibly that might be the shaking problem, but I’m pretty sure I’ve noticed it before and never noticed the shaking and my shit used to be smooth as glass after new tires and one new rim because one got bent😬😬

can u please explain the oil level problem with the genesis. i have seen a bunch of videos of people getting rod knock and every comment is what was the oil level. im buying a genesis 2.0 in a few days and i want to be informed. Thank you
@@danrv8390 they suffer from oil starvation when sharp turning, so a good fix for that is a baffled oil pan, this is for all genesis of all years and trims I believe. It's also important to use a hyundai approved oil filter or a K&N genesis coupe filter or else you will get knocking and eventually blow up, just buy the filter yourself and don't trust a autozone worker to pick the right one
@@danrv8390yea so for the coupe there’s no oil level indicator, so you have to manually check every 2500-3000 miles to check the oil life. If it’s too dark or blackish then I’d get an oil change. I have a 2010 genny 3.8 so idk if the 2013-2016 have an indicator
Holy! I thought I was the only one with steering wheel shake between 60-80! It was worse when I had more tilt but I dialed back to like -10
I’ve tried different wheels, multiple balances and alignments. Even changed a couple arms and still has that little shake between 60-80
@@SamStaticc I think it’s something else completely

The steering wheel shake could be a couple things so I’ll definitely go through the possibilities one more time
@@Kaise._Little late.. but I’ve seen that changing out your front wheel hub assembly fixes the steering wheel shake but who knows 🤷🏽♂️
