So what we've learned is toucans are the cats of the bird world 😂
I have to admit, as a cat owner, they don’t projectile poop on the walls on the regular, like a toucan does. I had one cat who managed to leave a pile stuck on my wall once when she was a kitten. That was a phenomenon I’ve never managed to understand how it happened, and it never happened again. It was one of those things where I couldn’t even be mad at it because it was rather impressive.
Owls are the cats. Toucans are velociraptors.
My Toucanet likes to knock things off the counter. I’ve seen a few other Toucanets and Aracaris do this on forums.
@Ayako our family Cockatiel did this, as did my Budgies and other parrots. Most of them do it if given the opportunity.
Our ducks couldn't fly onto the counters, so they would reach up and pull towels off ranks, spin the TP rolls, fling shoes, and similar acts.
It's just part of being a bird living with a human ❤

Rocko is an exquisite Toucan. I'm embarrassed to say this, I always thought Toucans looked like the bird on the box of cereal. So it's really awesome to see how patient you are with Rocko & the bond and trust only seems to get stronger. He is Fascinating. Thank you for sharing him with us. I appreciate everything you do & share with us.
I think the toucan they were most closely using on the box of cereal was a keel-billed toucan because they have the most rainbow colored bill, even though it's still nowhere near what is depicted on the cereal box! There's a lot of different types of toucans. Rocko's type happens to be the largest of them all.

So funny how whenever he gets a blueberry, he has to keep it at the tip of his beak for a sec before eating it. He’s like “yup okay, mmmm yes blueberry, GULP.”
