    Pretty thorough. Appreciate the panning negatives. What abt sling attachment? Also attachment variables to different forends? Thanks.

    The Harris is NOT 13lbs! It's 13.3 ounces- the reviewer misspoke

    there is a QD lever for the Harris isn't there but the cost I believe is around $75.00. So with that cost plus the Pod Lock cost the total costs for a Harris is getting up there.
    update 2024: I just sold all my Harris and 2 Atlas bipods and bought 2 Accu Tac WB-5 bipods and am very very happy. My new rifles are much heavier and for my bench and prone shooting the Accu Tac WB-5 is perfect.
    why I traded the Atlas bipods one being PSR and the other being V8 is because as the weather got colder the cant and pan would not hold and when I shot a rd. I had to keep moving the bipod back to original spot. I placed an O-Ring between the lever mount and body which helped a bit when I tightened it up but after say 20 shots the cant/pan would start to move again. The rubber that holds the cant/pan in place gets very hard in the cold and will not hold.

    Hey thanks for the video. I think you might be interested in the Atlas CAL. It’s their newest bipod with does away with the pan feature. It’s also a couple bucks cheaper than the psr

    I’ve decided I’m going with the Accu-Tac. Now….. how do I figure out which height to get? I have a Magpul Bipod I’m replacing. Gun is for precision shooting. Bench and prone. Eventually I may get into PRS events.

    The Harris has Pan via the rolling feet which absolutely sucks! When you try to load the Harris the feet just roll away..

  • @stonekold
    @stonekold 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    so to pan you have to pick up the whole rifle and move it to adjust right or left.

    If the Atlas didn’t pan (the Cal model) would that be your go to? I’m currently trying to decide between the Accu-tac and Atlas.

      If weight is a concern go with the attlas. If not I would probably save some money amd go with the accutac.

      @@jamesnierodzik8542 just saw ur reply. I already got my accutac as well. The dealer said it’s more solid than atlas at full extension. Awesome bipod

    • @JG-nw3ub
      @JG-nw3ub 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sun Steven can the accutac incrementally lower it’s height when it is extended? If it doesn’t, then I’d see that as another gripe or con for the accutac.

    If only someone would take the best features of each and lose all the worst of each to create 1 good bipod, that would be great.

    The Atlas is designed that way for moving targets, its is pricey as you are getting a featured packed bipod. You can pin in if you want it rigged, but it wasn't designed for that.

Had it since that was about all there was. Ignore all these people complaining about you misspeaking about the weight of the Harris. It was immediately clear to me what you meant and should have been to anyone else with half a brain. Some of the comments were funny though.
