- The HobbyKing Paramotor is extremely easy to fly due to its very gentle and stable flight characteristics yet once you are used to it, it will perform loops and rolls with ease. Due to the design, the huge high-performance 2400mm sail opens quickly for easy launching and it will retain its shape even in turbulence. The single-skin durable sail is made from 100% ripstop fabric and comes pre-rigged with tough polyethylene lines and is ready to attach to the durable aluminum gondola. It does require a computer radio with mixing and servo control curves, to see what is involved in the radio set up please watch the attached video and also the one for the setting up of the parafoil itself.

There is a high level of prefabrication so assembly time is minimal and it is Plug-N-Fly so all you require is your own transmitter, receiver, and battery. The Paramotor is fitted with a powerful 3530-1400KV brushless motor swinging a 10 x 4.7 propeller, it also has a 50 amp electronic speed controller with 5 amp BEC and 2 powerful 15kg high torque metal geared servos. A 3S lipo battery is recommended and it can vary in capacity to suit different flying conditions. The recommended flying weight is 1.6~2.0kg, in light of wind conditions it is best to put a lighter battery in to keep near the 1.6kg weight. In windy conditions, it is better to put a heavier battery in to fly around the 2kg mark. The undercarriage is easily removed for hand launching and catching and also for slope soaring.

Good to see this making a resurgence. I wish parts were available. The front axle of mine flew off, no idea why, but it was right after a launch and will never be found...I made a new one, but its questionable.
RC Groups has a very helpful forum thread about this model thats worth reading through. There is also an SPM file for Spektrum on there that eliminates all the radio setup hassles.

Generically it's a scale. Specifically it's a meter stick(/yardstick.) Rules and rulers are for drawing lines.

Okay, I'll be that guy... Wish it came with a pilot figure.
Confused about where the brake line mark should end up. In this video, the mark ends up at the hole on the control arm. Other videos say the mark ends up at the D-ring where the brake line passes through part way up the risers.
I have only seen the mark being put at the shackle also, glad I'm not the only one confused.
@hobbyking can you confirm? I'm about to set mine up.

Neither rule nor ruler. It is a "yardstick", from the appearance, but is it in English (SAE) or Metric? I have never heard of a meterstick. 😲

This is a PNF (Plug and Fly) model, so a transmitter, receiver and flight battery are required.

Factories are mostly in China until we get vendors that demonstrate they can produce similar at a better value so we can pass those savings to hobbyists and pilots like you
What receiver do I need for this model??
any 4+ch Rx will do fine.

You make me sit thru all that for 10 seconds of flight half out of frame? This was a disaster of a video from start to finish. 100 steps and get a single one wrong and it'll fly incorrectly or not at all
