The image of Charles sat silently holding the scepter staring at the floor and into the void looking utterly bereaved is something I will never forget. She truly was Great 🙏❤️

@@julianaferrone8734 Hi Juliana yes i have been to Hampton Court it Certainly is worth a visit its the home of Henry the eighth and his wife’s it is supposedly haunted by Anne Boleyn in part of it and Henry him Self it has some nice tapestries and paintings it has a lot of room to walk around and a large ground to walk around as well there’s a water fountain in the Grounds and when we went we had a ride in a horse and cart I think there was a maze there as well to get lost in its certainly is a hole day visit and worth while we went on the underground train to get there the Hampton Court is just out side London go if you can its worth it and there was a shop on the way in I think we paid there as well on the way in it over looks the Thames as well

I feel the same way. I often wish that I was born in the 1500s, it was such a great time to be alive particularly in Western Europe because the Renaissance was just beginning to sweep across Europe and art, music, poetry, science/math, and culture began to flourish at a level that had never been seen before. And this beautiful music is a great example of how The Renaissance greatly propelled mankind to new heights.

@gamefox120 The jousting accident he suffered definitely affected him mentally, it likely caused some serious brain damage that he never recovered from. If it hadn't been for that unfortunate accident he would have been a better king (and a better person overall) in his later years. Not only his immediate family but even his closest friends said that he was never quite the same both mentally and physically after that jousting accident.
