I'm grinding hunter myself till 80 on my ironman atm and i did 43-59 at falconry doing 65-70k exp p/h
This method to unlock red salamanders is in my opinion way better then orange salamanders so u might want to add this to the guide aswell :) its more click intensive but rewarding with higher exp rates

Why would I do kebbits after 37 for 30k when the swamp lizard just before was 40-60k an hour?
Because swamp lizards are not 40k exp /hr at the minimal requirement, it’s 40-60 for him since he is 99
Also, I think hes basing his EXP per hour based on his level nor when starting at that level. at 37 I was getting 13k-15k exp at Kebbits. 30k-40k at green lizards
Platano sounds to me the best thing is to do swamp lizards to 59
swamp lizards until you can do falconry was the best way for me

doesnt even say what to bring for ruby harvests but i guess alchs are more important than a butterfly net and a jar :thinking:
personally i thought it was a horrible idea lol so click intensive they fly everything lol it just annoys me
He should've told you to use a butterfly net for butterflies, just incase you planned on using a lobster pot

I wish you had used some sense and given us the XP rates when you're at that level. For example, level 29 swamp lizards with just 2 traps is pushing 20k/hr if you're lucky... It's a great guide as far as what steps to take, but the XP rates are definitely inflated since you're 99.
yeah almost all of his numbers are off in this guide. Kinda worthless. Still, the 20-25k xp per hour at salamanders (and bigger rates once you can set 3 traps) are better than kebbits xp and should be done all the way to lvl 47 and then you go do falconry.
Forced content is always going to be shit. You left out so many important details.

I did the red chin method back in the day over an entire summer, got 99 hunter and about 50m at the time. was worth it.

For level 47 - 59 Hunter, you can also teleport back to Zanaris. There is a fountain next to the fairy ring where you can fill your waterskins again :)

Most of you 1-99 videos there is something I recommend that you could have covered in the guide as well, however for this video I think you hit all the bases. Since you did mention fossil island for the bird houses, I think it would have been worth mentioning herbiboar hunter training as long as you talked about fossil island anyway. Very nice video overall!

Great guide! I did green swamp lizard to 29-47. I believe at level 40 you get another net to catch an extra lizard. It got easier for me instead of the other method mentioned.

Love the videos, you left out herbivore hunting at 80 hunter and hunting monkey tails from 60.
Decent and informative guide (other than not including Herbi method). My only recommended edit would be that taking a Spirit Tree to Khazard Battlefield is a quicker route to Red Salamanders.

RNS:Arigatonezot. Hunter is surely my favourite skill. Made me some decent money and was my first cape in RS3 (back in the days) and now on OSRS too.
I initially referred to Evil Oak's Hunter guide when I started up again just a few months ago. This guide is very detailed and pretty much improves upon the former guide which I'd definitely show to others who are clueless about Hunter.
One thing I should mention is, when it comes to hunting Red Chins outside of the private hunting area, 3ticking will definitely give the user an upper hand against bots. If a bot makes the attempt to place a trap, you can easily run on top of them, 3tick and it'll cause them to go idle/waste time while you get the catch. Highly recommend people learn it as it'll make the catches go by quick (and much more entertaining) esp. when you unlock five box traps.

Nice addition: you should drop the red salamanders as quick as possible because they are quite heavy. Shift drop is the best solution! It will save you much run energy ;-)

I think red chimps are a decent consistent hunter money making way. Just filled with bots so finding a world that doesn’t get crashed is really the only tough part. Also with red chimps binge watching a show would help a lot or Alching/fletching
