Good job again! I did incremental change on mine, and waited around 1k miles before the next drain and fill. Only because of being extra careful. Tranny had 140k mi on it without any fluid changes. My reasoning was, if it started acting up on new fluid, I would stop and not make it any worse. But next time, maybe in 40k miles, I'll do what you did. I also reset the fluid counter in vida (not the adaptation.) It didn't make any noticeable difference in shifting behavior. My next thing to do will be replacing sagging, smelly 18 yr old roof lining, lol. Keep these xc90 videos coming, great content.
Thank you! My transmission had about 190k without a servicing. According to a previous maintenance record I found, the original trans was replaced at about 72k miles. But this flush really smoothed out the transmission behavior big time! I didn't reset anything either.
Great tip, thanks!
