Ok so I’m a “beta” jammer (I was playing in the open beta) and I am not rare at all! I find it so annoying that people expect me to be rare just because I’m “beta” and YUS, I don’t really know the new worth of items haha
I feel like many people say the the wiki is "outdated" now. What surprises me is that the majority of those who say this also say "oh the staff dont update it" or "yeah the staff dont do their jobs." Anyone can edit on the wiki, and we could use more people like you to help us with the correct worth of items. I've asked many rare people if they can help, but they just say the same thing as everyone else. If you can help with some of the more argued-over worths, please let me know!

Back in July I lost my forest and salmon mystic to the scam you talked about!! I had no idea I can’t believe I fell for it. I also recently made a big mistake like yesterday, (I traded my teal myth for pink dragon wings). I honestly really regret it. They said they would trade back if I wanted before hand, after I asked if we could trade back and she said nO and unbuddied me.

It's pretty interesting hearing other jammer's stories xd I started back in August 2018 and I have pink crystal pegasus wings white tip raccoon tail and pink furry arm cuffs as my best items uwu and I'm sad that raccoon tail got down alot :c I honestoy like raccoon tails and yes also the white tip and some people may also think like me u.u but yeah and also don't know the worth of archer hat XD

This video inspired me to learn from my mistakes from being scammed and trading up. Even though I came back to AJPW for a couple years after my green boa got scammed. But this video and how you stood up and didn't even care about the scams and traded up really inspired me to play more and AJPW really does make me happy. TYSM for posting this and im kinda late XD. When flower crowns where VERY beta on Animal Jam (mobile). I had all the colors. I was so proud myself! I went to this party, and there was this person who said they where my FAVORITE youtuber at the time. So, I asked for a buddy request. And I had all my flower crowns on trade just to see what people would offer! So they said, I’ll buddy you if you give me all your flower crowns! So I traded it for a Hero Mask. Then they left. Soon... I realized what had happened. I remember that I cried. I also have another story but is probably to long to share. (^^) ❤️
That happened to me aswell... I was new and didn't know anything about betas so I traded my items for the things I liked only. And one fateful day a returning jammer way back to the betas wants my spike collar for their pink bow tie, rare designer hat, rare flower backpack, and rare daisy hat (lowest) I had no idea what these Items were worth so lots of people traded alot for them... And now I just kept on getting scammed. And I ended up with rare flower backpack But yeah I went through Alot of betas djs, Drag, rc etc.. So that happened I didn't quite regret it cause I'm only after for the things I liked. Sad 😑

My trading career for blackout spiked collar/forest boots are going hopelessly. My offers are fair, but the people are always like “fair but nty”, lord picky kids from the Arctic wolf cave annoy me so much. This one kid, said blackout spike was worth highest raccoon tail (excuse my language), which is a load of crap. I’ve been spending weeks trading people and I honestly feel like giving up sometimes and giving away my good items. I was told people with more than one of your most wanted item are less picky.

Ahh I remember when wootmoo had the original Tiger Temple trading den. When me and my friends got bored we would roleplay in the pine trees! And I used to have the full flower crown set. And I got super mad when ajhq brought them back... Same with the ballet set. I also remember another time when someone was trying to troll me by traded a pet firefly, but it back fired for them. So my trick to getting rare is.. Well it’s really just time but how I got rare is I ask the person if they want items or sapphires then I say den or clothing so then ik what they want and if they like the offer I’ll accept and we will both be happy with good items. Also I just built up to bigger items like phantom beanie and firefly

some thing I’ve been regretting for so so long is back then like in 2018 I had a friend in school and she put animal jam, and she had a lot of really good items. She was my best friend and I was so new to animal jam. She introduced it to me one day she gave me like five flower crowns in back then it was worth a lot, but because I only played animal jam with her and I was so clueless about trading everything I just kept them in my inventory and did whatever now I realize that I could’ve had so much and gotten so rare. So then I traded up and I didn’t get to that good stuff but I was pretty good, and then a year ago I got hacked and I kind of quit/took a break. Now I’m trading up, so wish me good luck!

I would think there worth around a good dragon wing color also white tip is now lowest because of how it was given away in prizes so much urs is now second lowest if that helps in any way

also one time someone asked me to trade my rare forest for there black treasure hunt spike and rare galaxy wings i was like HELLLLl NOOoO they kept yelling at me saying it’s my dream item you bully because i couldn’t where my normal forest i gifted all of them ALL OF THEM 3 positive player plaques 3 forest one was orange everything i couldn’t take it anymore i gifted every rare i owned except my custom phantom never seen another like it always getting asked so i just hide it in the back of my inventory space
I remember when I started playing aj after an year, I didn’t know how rare I was and ended up trading them for unsafe things. I will never forgive myself for trading my very first pet, a peacock. So your not the only one :)
The only item that confuses me a lot that ive been trying to get are Forest Gauntlets, I don't even know when I'd use them only that I'd find a way to use them.. It's weird because most of my characters look like edgy dudes, my arctic just being edgy overload in my opinion. Forest is just one of those items that ive been trying to get for ages but i probably never know how to use
Welp, I been playing since two months ago and a half and I'm doing it because my girlfriend got me into it. Right now I'm not that rare, maybe all my items worth like three or four black rc tail. My trick to become this "rare" (because I'm not that rare, believe it or not) is to trade using wishlist of other, people is always willing to make huge overtrade for their wish, like, once I got an Arabian Mask for Water Wings. Another one got Lilac Archer Hat for the worth of tree forest, just because the guy loved the variety and I offered lots of his wish. Anyways, don't lie about worth, if people asks you "Yo, this is under, right?" tell them the truth, if you're under, say it, and if you don't want to trade fair well nothing, just cancel and keep looking, don't ever lie about an item or the worth. Another trick is, try to get wanted items, like double tail or dizzy, it's so easy to duplicate their worth or use them in offers for biggest items and have a bigger possibility to get them despite being under. I started playing animal jam in 2016 (Animal jam classic) And then I searched animal jam in the App Store and found ajpw. I started playing that in 2017. I remember those rare items that everyone was obsessed about, like flower crowns. I got SO annoyed when they came in stores for the first time, because I had got one the week before, and I was looking to trade it away...
I traded my Pet dove and Pet parrot for a rainbow trail potion which was a scam an then the scammer asked me for more of my pets then flexed my Pet parrot at me an then she cancelled trade 😭
I joined in 2016 something. I never cared for rares and traded and it was hard for me to make friends in school also. I never traded much until 2019 all year. Then i got scammed. 2020, i no longer trade :3
I remembered that I played during 2017 but I played wayyy back and I remember that I had a flowercrown I was so happy back then but ofc I was pretty stupid and I didn’t know what trust trading back then so one of my buddy’s asked me to do trust with them so I did it with my flowercrown but ofc it got scammed I was crying so much back then I just quitted I regret quitting ;^;
I remember about 1years ago I did know anything about trading and I saw for the first time a double tail, I didn’t know what anything was worth so I just traded my treasure hunt spikes not the black one bc those were meh children🙃 To my dumb surprised brain no one accepted and I was like “Why won’t anyone trade me this items I mean it’s like worth nothing!” I was pretty mad bc I didn’t know worth’s ;-; Finally I got a double tail about 7 months later XD

Trading is hard for me- like most people I used to be a scammer but I didn’t even get anything out of it really, oh jeez it was easy to scam on ajpw back then, if you trade it, and the other person accepts it, you won’t get another chance to accept like you do now. My rarest item back then was a flower crown, I don’t even know what I traded for it but somehow I got it, and then later it came back in stores sadly. I got the full forest set not long after the flower crown (before it came back) and I still don’t even know if forest boots were worth as much then, but I had no idea what they were worth so I traded them for something unrare. And then I stopped playing so I could play pc (if you know pc rarity, I ended up with a solid. And got it scammed a couple weeks ago so I quit pc because it took so long to get. But I’m coming back :,)) but thennnn I came back on ajpw and I traded my trash using the outdated wiki that I didn’t know was outdated that I still use for some reason and a couple cross trades to get up to grey curls, blackout spike, forest boots and white tip rc. Not that much but it’s fine ig I’m trying to get red hearts or red royal tiara, red lei, red drag, red rc, red cuffs. I’m never getting ANY of that- oh and before I got rare on pc I got a pet pony scammed too 😎✌️ :,)

And I got super mad when ajhq brought them back... Same with the ballet set. I also remember another time when someone was trying to troll me by traded a pet firefly, but it back fired for them. Well it’s really just time but how I got rare is I ask the person if they want items or sapphires then I say den or clothing so then ik what they want and if they like the offer I’ll accept and we will both be happy with good items. Also I just built up to bigger items like phantom beanie and firefly

some thing I’ve been regretting for so so long is back then like in 2018 I had a friend in school and she put animal jam, and she had a lot of really good items. She was my best friend and I was so new to animal jam. She introduced it to me one day she gave me like five flower crowns in back then it was worth a lot, but because I only played animal jam with her and I was so clueless about trading everything I just kept them in my inventory and did whatever now I realize that I could’ve had so much and gotten so rare. So then I traded up and I didn’t get to that good stuff but I was pretty good, and then a year ago I got hacked and I kind of quit/took a break. Now I’m trading up, so wish me good luck!

I would think there worth around a good dragon wing color also white tip is now lowest because of how it was given away in prizes so much urs is now second lowest if that helps in any way

The only item that confuses me a lot that ive been trying to get are Forest Gauntlets, I don't even know when I'd use them only that I'd find a way to use them.. It's weird because most of my characters look like edgy dudes, my arctic just being edgy overload in my opinion. Welp, I been playing since two months ago and a half and I'm doing it because my girlfriend got me into it. Right now I'm not that rare, maybe all my items worth like three or four black rc tail. My trick to become this "rare" (because I'm not that rare, believe it or not) is to trade using wishlist of other, people is always willing to make huge overtrade for their wish, like, once I got an Arabian Mask for Water Wings. Another one got Lilac Archer Hat for the worth of tree forest, just because the guy loved the variety and I offered lots of his wish. Anyways, don't lie about worth, if people asks you "Yo, this is under, right?" tell them the truth, if you're under, say it, and if you don't want to trade fair well nothing, just cancel and keep looking, don't ever lie about an item or the worth. Another trick is, try to get wanted items, like double tail or dizzy, it's so easy to duplicate their worth or use them in offers for biggest items and have a bigger possibility to get them despite being under. like most people I used to be a scammer but I didn’t even get anything out of it really, oh jeez it was easy to scam on ajpw back then, if you trade it, and the other person accepts it, you won’t get another chance to accept like you do now. My rarest item back then was a flower crown, I don’t even know what I traded for it but somehow I got it, and then later it came back in stores sadly. I got the full forest set not long after the flower crown (before it came back) and I still don’t even know if forest boots were worth as much then, but I had no idea what they were worth so I traded them for something unrare. And then I stopped playing so I could play pc (if you know pc rarity, I ended up with a solid. And got it scammed a couple weeks ago so I quit pc because it took so long to get. But I’m coming back :,)) but thennnn I came back on ajpw and I traded my trash using the outdated wiki that I didn’t know was outdated that I still use for some reason and a couple cross trades to get up to grey curls, blackout spike, forest boots and white tip rc. Not that much but it’s fine ig
