The problem with Abominable Might is not that it is chaos dmg, the problem is proc on enemy death. This makes it useless against bosses and is the reason many people stopped using it. You have 4 points in the starter circle. If you take some out plus those two, you could go for another constellation maybe. Or are they necessary there? grtz
I grabbed it while leveling. You're right. The points are useless against most bosses who you can't clump up with additional enemies to get it to proc. I do want to go back and re do these I had used most my shards on my Ritualist and Cabalist builds. I would spend more points into OA and DA for those boss encounters on this build
Glad to see new Forgotten Gods content coming out. The first issue I was seeing with your build is that you have a lot of points in Reaping Strike and Necrotic Edge, but I do not see any way for them to proc. Both of those skills are tied to a default attack, and neither Bone Harvest or Aegis of Menhir show to be default attacks, and I don't see the basic attack on your hot bar anywhere, unless I'm missing something? Besides the basic attack you start with, the only others I am away of are Righteous Fervor for the Oathkeeper, Cadence for the Soldier, Fire Strike for the Demolitionist and Savagery for the Shaman. There are also different default attacks on some relics like Mistborn Talisman and on a few different weapons. I would be interested to know what you are using to proc them?
When you say "basic attack" you mean as in default swings not a specific ability? When using the left click (tied to my aegis) when it is on CD I start using default swings in between CDS. But I agree that you could shift points away from these. Aegis has such a short CD and can multi proc with Reprisal, so I used bone harvest to fill those gaps if they ever exist and or auto attacks. Otherwise it's best to put them on abilities that you mentioned like Fire Strike and Savagery. I will run some tests to see how they are procing. Thanks for the heads up!

I am currently playing a Retaliation Warlord using Aegis as my main sill, and you are correct that during the cool down, it should be using the default attack that should proc those skills....at least in theory. I just tend to shy away from default proc skills when I do not have a dedicated default weapon attack. To me, it is too many points invested in something that only has a chance to proc when main skills are on cool down. I would be interested to see the numbers on the procs for this....or at least what your impression is on how often it procs. I am guessing you will get between 3 or 4 default hits, depending on weapon speed, in between each Aegis shield throw since Aegis has a 2.5 second cool down. 25% chance to proc each time.
@@rednab2001 yeah that is true man, my new video "God Shield" has theirs down to 1.4seconds so I am basically spamming it constantly plus the reprisals it is insane as heck. I will definitely get you some numbers this might need to be fixed.

If you have the Malmouth exp pots and lokar set it increases your xp by 140%. If you get to ultimate difficulty and the forgotten gods city you can unlock the ultimate difficulty at level 1 from the vendor there they sell a item. Turned 1 quest in and went from 5 to 14. I will probably do a small guide. And I started as oathkeeper
@@Destructable I used to play a bit when max level was around 30, so I theoretically understand what you are saying but the short answer is, consider me a brand new player with no saved gear or pots or no clue about a leveling route
@@badsoul26 hmm. I would say two things. If you're good at ARPGS don't start in Veteran mode and just power through every quest shrine for bag slot expansions and skill points devotion points. Or look for a multiplayer game that you can join with a high level player in it and ask to go to Log and kill him if they have him unlocked so you can skip difficulties. Repeat again until you're on Ultimate. Honestly I love ARPGS and a challenge I spent a few weeks getting to 100 because I did it all and started in Veteran mode. IMO it helps transitioning into higher difficulties. Biggest note to new players is be ready for your resistances to matter in higher difficulties. I might do a leveling guide to answer this better in the future bud.
It is worth the price. I already have 120 hours across 15 or so different classes and haven't beaten the campaign as of yet. So far I have been enjoying the death knight class the most.
I dropped $60 on Anthem with my fingers crossed it would be good. Stopped playing after 8 days. I've been playing grim dawn for 6 months now and love it, and with the new expansion i love it even more. Best money ive spent on a game in a couple years. So many build possibilities and just all around fun. If you like ARPGs then this is a must.
How are you getting aegis of menhir to hit 5 targets????

Can this built take down Ancient Kra vaa or Heart of the Fire Gargabol?
What is that red ball that hits an enemy then comes back to you? That a Relic ability? Or Devotion ability?

The Deathguard set converts a ton of poison damage into Bone Harvest
