As a Dominican the Dominican barber comment kills me. I know family members who come over from overseas and one of the first things they do is get a barber from here lel.

Good to see you watched Numakie's video. It's a time machine for what was a really good event and point in history for the franchise.

Oh there's the melty bread post from America's Worst Ryougi... I also remember the nicknames for the pools. Pool1 was Atlantic Ocean ft YAT, pool2 was Kiddy pool, Pool 3 was Gulf of Mexico, Pool 4 was Atlantic Ocean.

Shinobi introduced me to Melty Blood at evo ‘23! I’m ass, but the game looked so damn cool! And he was such a nice, welcoming dude.

2010 was my first Evo I ever went to. I remember that being the most brutal tournament ever. 128+ person pools, 2 out.

Lmao I actually remember hearing that people pushed for Melty at Evo from 4 chan threads and the rest was history. Not 100% sure how this holds up though.
I remember this evo too, I met the Japanese players when I first got to Vegas and they needed help with registration, I told some new players they were JP players that needed help and they're like "send them somewhere else we don't want their smoke at Evo"

There were only 1,000 some votes for the game, if there were multiple 4chan threads trying to get people to vote for it, they didn't get many at all since it was a newly released game with pretty low total votes. I would assume there would've been a few thousand votes at least if those threads were even slightly popular, not counting actual votes for a new'ish released game.

Do you plan on going to CON6 this year? MBAACC is still hype and surprisingly active, i’d love to see you play some time. Also was curious if you ever considered coaching that game or if its been too long lol

I'm a huge C-moon enjoyer in MBAACC: Red Arc, Aoko, P-Ciel, Satsuki. Love that game though I don't play anymore, really fun
