I absolutely love how much of a hater LK is. Ill sit and watch a clip and be like, "Oh that was sick dude wow." Then LK comes by and says, "Yeah actually he couldve killed him 12 times before this, and that reaction wasnt that good because you can just react to the flash/color change." shit is actually so funny
The 3S Parry one at minute 7 is also particularly nasty because Dudley chose to do the target combo after the overhead which is a mixup to beat if Ryu does 1 parry into a button, and the Ryu player chose to parry the followup, twice.
The impressive parts about reactions like the xiaohai clip arent that the guy playing the game has superhuman abilities to react, but that in the middle of the tournament set he focused on *exactly one thing* to look out for, and was right. the way pro players are able to adjust what theyre looking for and focusing on throughout a set/game/round is what sets them apart, and being able to do that comes from spending a lot of time *thinking* about the game and studying it, not just that theyre somehow biologically better than us
Knowkami's 1v3 Goku Black comeback at EVO was what got me into FG's. first time watching an FG and its bc my buddy hosted an evo watch party and told me DragonBall would be there. god what an experience.
3:57 I THINK that's just kara canceled. Game having leniency for slightly missinputting EX buttons and that's why yellow glow and drive come up later. Could be wrong though.
Either xiaohai luckily started pumping super, or he’s actually insane at about 66 ms reaction time. Because it took him 3-4 frame to react to the fireball
10:15 I def think this applies to a lot of games. League pros 10 years ago are literally like gold level players today which is pretty interesting but also cool to see. Obv league is very different from fgs but still
Leffen vs Go1 gets too much glaze imo especially if you watch a lot of high level dbfz, it was cool seeing Shenron get summoned but Go1 had complete controll of the match the whole time. Dbfz has had way more hyoe moments imo that dont get highlighted
3-4 frames reaction time is inhuman, I think xiaohai reacted to the move and just go yolo, if he can react in 3-4 frames, he could jump every single fireball with full punish.
With the Xiaohai clip, if you break it down frame by frame, Either Xiaohai is buffering, or does the motion in reaction to Kusanagi going from walking forward to crouch, and then presses punch in reaction to the fireball. F -15 Ryu starts crouch animation (takes a couple of frames to be clearly a crouch) F -2 Ryu starts to stand up F 0 Ryu fireball animation starts F 1 Blue fireball animation shows up on screen F 2 Ryu goes yellow/Drive meter changes F 5 Cammy starts to crouch, starting the super motion F 11 Ryu OD fireball first active frame F 19 Cammy Super Flash SF6 has about 4 frames of input delay, so Xiahai actually pressed the first down input of the super one frame before Ryu turned yellow & the drive meter changed. If you're saying he reacted to Ryu moving his hands back, that's still a one frame reaction time, which yes, would be some Captain America shit if that's what the original video thinks happened. If he started the motion in reaction to Ryu starting to crouch, that's about 20 frames (probably a bit less, because the crouch animations are ambiguous for a couple of frames), which is very reasonable, while still extremely impressive. As a Chun player, that shit is hard.
Completely wrong on the Xiahoai one, you’re talking about EX fireball cause of the drive gauge but Xiaohai does that even with normal fireballs, also EX fireball is a way faster startup so its much harder to react to.
@EthereaL-m5f that's massive. Typically in Tekken people can only duck lows on reaction at like 20-22f minimum and that's considered cracked. In 2D you could def like twitch react to something like any movement in maybe 10f but to argue that he visually recognized beyond any doubt the fireball animation in less than 8f is absurd. Like you could track brain activity and it might not register that fast for many stimulus outside video games for the human eye level fast.
@@xravenx24fe Lk pointed out that he was looking for that exact reaction as he said if you lower your mental stack and are looking for just one thing it's completely possible to react to something in 8 frames
@@alecjones8286 Dude don't gaslight me lol, watch the video. Just rewatched it actually and it wasn't even 8 frames, it was 2 frame advances in YT so 4 frames at 60 FPS. He's not reacting to any flash or depletion at that rate dude. 4 frames is 4/60, or 0.06 seconds. Even if we're talking 8 frames, that's 0.12 seconds, and 0.20 is the average. Either that really was 8 frames AND Xiaohai was about as cracked as a human gets, or it was a read. Be honest, which is more likely?
Am i tripping or is the first clip not what we use to do in sf4 daily? Im also asking cause im 30 and my college friend group of 18s call me a scrub for raging them like this in tekken 8.
ftr that rip clip was goofy lol like he was playing his usual wild rip style there was nothing superhuman about it mihawk just got mental stacked and froze up. like the reaction from the crowd is just cause the usa fan favourite got a comeback on the eu player by throwing out reactable lows and setups into flip and parry. idk maybe i am just a hater
I hope you’re talkin about the OLD patch when saying this patch 16:39. Cz kid buu is the worst character in the game rn which means you don’t know what you’re talking about if u mean rn
I mean this as respectful as possible as someone who enjoys these videos as they are very informative but LK reacts to certain stuff like oh no that’s not insane but to most people all of this is insane. LK might not personally think some of these are insane but we are not you mf you are also on another level lmao
The overhead that Dudley used can go right into the target combo that Ryu parried. he can decide to go into the target combo on hit so every time Dudley does it it's a mixup. You have to decide if you're going to parry once, or twice. The Ryu called it out not once, but twice that what makes that clip so sick.

shit is kinda cringe low key..
Another reason to love this channel, I deadass forgot I was in the chat during this stream and got jumpscared by my own comment.

LK I need the return of sbo watchpartys with uploads here
14:17 Flash’s neutral is kinda bad, and injustice has chip damage so the comeback was godlike, but raptor should have blocked lmao
Mics peaking so hard they crust over is just such a perfect touch
I'm loving the new style of including twitch chat texts
Knowkami's 1v3 Goku Black comeback at EVO was what got me into FG's. first time watching an FG and its bc my buddy hosted an evo watch party and told me DragonBall would be there. god what an experience.
5:40 i love how i know how huge both of the names are And that also caught me off guard how tf is this a game in pools lmfao
For most hype clips the commenators are doing alot of the heavy lifting
Also GO1 vs leff is hype cause Leff lost
So real, FUCK Leffen
We love to see leffen lose
@mepp3566 YES SIR
Based leff hater
always nice to see leffen get humbled
Seeing that first clip really took me back I was still getting into fighting games through DBFZ so I was watching tournaments left and right
Chat pop-ups are nice for context
Lol that 3rd strike clip gave me my first smile and laugh of the day
3:57 I THINK that's just kara canceled. Game having leniency for slightly missinputting EX buttons and that's why yellow glow and drive come up later. Could be wrong though.
15:01 yeah flash and night wing too are like some of the only hype characters in injustice to be honest.
hearing the phrase barely okay gives me Chris Hu flashbacks
Either xiaohai luckily started pumping super, or he’s actually insane at about 66 ms reaction time. Because it took him 3-4 frame to react to the fireball
Is it weird that the clip i found the most hype was the Flash one?
Wait I didn't know injustice bursts were like that LMAOOOO
10:15 I def think this applies to a lot of games. League pros 10 years ago are literally like gold level players today which is pretty interesting but also cool to see. Obv league is very different from fgs but still

Heh.

Mihawk is a top level EU player and everyone was getting hype because of the regional rivalry. Plus rip is great but not highest level great.
Premium instigator 😭

You skipped the mkx clip?
Two Leo whitefang clips in one video maybe Leo is gap and the world is just too afraid to accept it 💯💯

Ngl id still debate that reaction clip, is he really arguing Xiaohai reacted to something in like 3 or 4 frames?
30fps video so double that to 6-8 frames, not sure how significant that is though

4 frame input delay.
He was reacting to the crouch, not the actual fireball.

you a big hater bro that's hall of fame pocketwatching, i respect the shit out of it tho that's generational talent.

Please learn Tekken so you I can hear you say "Actually hitting 3 TJUs is not that impossible"

Is LK a good player competitively?
7:00 this clip is ASS. Nothing but random parrying on wake up. Baby sensory video with the flashing colors.
If that is what you got out of that 3S clip, then that's telling more on you than anything.
Naaaaaaaah you're hating big time
The overhead that Dudley used can go right into the target combo that Ryu parried. he can decide to go into the target combo on hit so every time Dudley does it it's a mixup. You have to decide if you're going to parry once, or twice. The Ryu called it out not once, but twice that what makes that clip so sick.
