Hi, Ms. Alissa 👋 hope all is well there. I am really taking notes since I started watching your videos. I am a graduate of BEEd majored in PS Education and currently here in Thailand as ESL teacher. I just want to clarify, if I may, please? Most of the schools that I have checked (online) are looking for a kinder teacher with a First Aid Certificate/Trained. Am I still qualified to apply for these positions? Or should I get a certification that they are looking for? Thanks so much in advance and be safe always 🙇♀️

Mandatory.. as per my two nieces who are accepted and teach in michigan university and my other classmate who teach in chemistry high school in U.S. the other one teaching Science in U.K. Professional Teachers License is a minimum requirement + work experience + masteral..these people I mentioned were all completed their Masteral Degrees...I hope it will help you..Note: Not necessarily BS Education Graduate as long as you have Diploma in Professional Education and Licensed Teacher in the Philippines with experience and masteral units...in the case of my classmate his license cards are 2...Chemical Engineer and LPT License Cards since my other classmate was not a Registered Chemical Engineer she only took Diploma in Prof Ed. Masters and work experience in teaching Chemistry in the Philippines....Summary: Superlative Credentials not necessarily you are intelligent..
Hi po maam. I am a graduate of Bacherlor of Science in Information Technology and earned units in education. I passed the LET examination major in Social Studies with Masters of Arts in teaching Social studies. I doubt that the field of specialization that I have could be used in applying in the USA po. Would it be possible for me or to land a Job their in the USA considering that My major is Social Studies po maam? I am from India. I am Engineering Gradaute with 5+ years of teaching Experience(Math). I dont have a B.ed. But I have a UK level-6 Diploma in Teaching. Am I eligible to teach in USA through J-1 program? Please clarify. I am not getting a clear answer from any platform in this regard.
I am not 💯 sure but based on what I understand, you must have an education degree (bachelor or Master). Most unit earners need to get an MA in Education that is related to your teaching experience. In your case, you can get an MA in Mathematics and be qualified for the J1 program.
You can also try to apply via H1b visa. I know someone who was able to teach Engineering electives in the US by having a teaching experience and an Engineering degree.
