My teenage daughters just got selected to do this today! They called me, over the moon, and I was like “What did you do?” This is very cool, happy for them. Seems like a great experience
My wife and I came just came back from Universal Studio orlando for our honeymoon. We were able to do the ceremony as a married couple. The wand master made it so memorable and fun. I am grateful for the employees who helped set that up i just don't want to say their name just incase they could get introuble.
whattt pls tell me ur joking?? I didnt think they acc only had one person be chosen by the wand, do they just pick out which wand each person gets randomly then?
@@tenzinkhando5002 they hold these things like every few hours and every time i watch them it’s always a kid. it could be an adult or teen if they get lucky tho
@@tenzinkhando5002if you don’t get chosen there are other wands at the back…when I was young I was chosen but my older brother didn’t so he bought another wand from the back
I remember the actor looked at me from upstairs, before the show started, so I tried to back away but I backed into my mom and some other woman. I couldn't escape... 😞 I had to do it, I made everyone laugh tho🥲 The actor also really pulled it off, he had the accent, the hair, the makeup, the insane-ish look, and just that real vibe. I loved him, he did good.
No, I absolutely agree with you. He had no idea how to cast magic spells like an adult who reads a children’s series as if it’s high literature. Pathetic.
Totally discussed with these people ,they tell you you are going to see a small show about how the wand chooses you and some one is asked (a child) to come forward. Finally they find the wand for the said child and they say he was choose. And they Give the child the wand.Imagine the happiness of the child at being the chosen one. Then as you leave the shop You are told you have to pay70 DOLLARS for the wnd
It would be different if they planned on buying one already but I get your point, go in to see the show, they pick your kid out and now you're forced to buy the wand or break your kids heart...
I was chosen for this when I was a kid, and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever experienced. I actually came into the shop planning to just buy a wand, I didn't know it was a whole show, so when I was told I got picked and realized I'll have my own unique wand I was very excited. I paid for it myself, and still have it to this day. Best 50 dollars I've ever spent.
If you’re visiting Orlando from abroad, 70 dollars is nothing next to a trip that will very conservatively cost about $2000. And if you’re from America, you’re making money already, even on the low end of the wage spectrum. Unless you’re on minimum wage, if you’re there, you most likely can afford this.
I would love this but I'm 6'8" man. It would look really goofy. I wish this kind of place existed when I was young Harry Potter fan in the mid to late 2000's.
I would love to be chosen, but that would require me to have money to go to Universal. And money to buy a wand, besides there are like three wands I want, and one is a USJ exclusive, so to eBay I go.
i think he flubbled his line at the second wand because he sais the second wand also had unicorn hair when in most shows they say the 2nd wand had dragon heart strings
Hello Emma! That sounds exciting! You do not have to pay to enter the Ollivander's Experience, but you do have to pay for the wands. This is either way, if you are chosen or not to participate. Upon entering the Ollivander's Experience you will be greeted by a witch or wizard working in the shop. From there they will select one witch or wizard to participate. Once a wand has been chosen, you are then able to proceed to purchase. You can purchase the wand you earned during the experience or you may exchange it for another of your liking. If you are not chosen during your first try at the experience, don't fret. The Ollivander's Experience happens about every 10-15 minutes. Have a magical day!
Even the wizard or witch who participates has to pay for their own wand. They can proceed to checkout with the wand that chose them during the experience, or exchange it for another wand of choice. Or they can even walk away without the purchase of a wand all together, even if they were the one participating in the experience.
@@Genna01I agree, I would expect thought that if a parent were to walk in the shop with their child they better realize there kid may get picked and will end up spending the cash on it. If I didn’t have the funds my kid would not be going to that.

Aww ❤❤
Does the selected one get a free one
What an awesome core memory for that kid
We couldn't agree more! It's definitely a worthy experience!
Nice reference
The actor has a nice voice
Agreed, it's a very calming voice.
"water them flowers..." me: AVADA K-

I went to Harry Potter world yesterday I was chosen so cool
What wand did u get?

That is the exact same wand that chose me!
I’m a grown adult but I would probably cry if I was chosen for this 😭 I’m afraid I may be whatever the Harry Potter equivalent of a Disney adult is😂
Wizarding Adult.
@@McFrozenNuggets Yup- I just went to universal for the first time and can now confirm I’m definitely a wizarding adult 😂
Nothing wrong with that. We all have a kid inside of us :)

they never choose adults or teens like what if we wanna feel the magic too😭😭

I got chosen at age 27! There were only a few other people in with me.
You have to show interest and go a few times to show you really want it
If I remember, in the Movie Harry’s Wand has a Phoenix Feather in it.
Yup, Hermione has a dragon core and Ron has a Unicorn, so the three friends have all 3 of the cores
It's almost like that bit of information was kind of a big deal for the main protagonist and antagonist of the series.
Ahh yes, a wizarding gun store.

you're never too old for some magic in your life :)
That kid did not know what he was doing.

Who cares, let the kid be a kid and enjoy it
who let a muggle child into ollivanders…
Very nice performance. Not being a Harry Potter fan, this means little to me. Now if they were giving him his first lightsaber...
Those are across the street
Wrong theme park 😆

Am I the only one who noticed the dude in the beginning just looked over it 😂

That’s the wand cheaper, he comes from the wizard by Merlock and Merlin
