You should try to flow the funnel/plenum/stack or whatever it’s called, close up the holes and smooth them out on the inside so the air flows smoothly. And put the filter back on, there’s not going to be any benefits in not having it on there. Or use the hole for nitrous if you really want to make some power and blow her up.
If you bike keeps bogging its because you are running a really rich mixture because you basically have the fuel mix screw taken all the way out therefore it will bog
I mastered theese lil carbs even though i ruined several to learn ..Drill the main jet just a hair . also drill one hole on the emulsion tube for better pre air fuel mix works bro
Incase someone hasnt mentioned it you can also dremmel or bore out your carb and intake manifold to get less restrictive flow aswell i did it with a few builds and imo it helps in some cases you just gotta know when to stop
nibbi pe19mm is a great upgrade for the xr100 you will have to buy a jetting kit though i swear is makes the throttle response 2x better than factory. i run a nibbi 22mm in a xr 125 and it bangs the rev limiter everywhere i go
Your going to make more power but only in higher rpms once jetted properly. Doesn't seem to be running too bad right now. Kinda moving towards how a MX bikes power curve is from a trail machine. Of course there is a lot more to do before to reach that area of power.
I do this with mine done it years ago filled the hole with epoxy resin and it slowly got in to my throttle and it jammed it wide open had to ride 8 miles with full throttle when I came to a corner I turned my key off and when I came off the corner turned the key back on I had to stop at 1 point and had to set off in 3rd gear kicked the bike off and it was going
Lol just get a new oem carb an delete the choke an jet it if need. Ur carb is screwed couse u lost the mixture screw then jammed that bolt in there so it’s never ganna run correct

you can adjust the heigh of the needle to prevent the hole when you turn fast the throttle, the higher the needle, the more fuel coming in

Try increasing the fuel flow a little bit. I recon it had a hole load of air but not enough fuel

i would put the bolt back in as the air filter won't be protecting that airflow then get bigger jets and ur good
I would adjust the main jet 2-5 sizes up. If i dont run perfect after that, i would try needle adjustment.
See now what you need to do is make the airflow smoother after the carburetor like ported and polished intake ports

I do this on my 400ex it helps just need to bump the pilot an main up one size

I found that mine never had an air filter so I bought one it doesn’t like it 😂
If it’s cold the bike will be cunt to start would recommend keeping rag with you so can manually choke bike
