As much as I can’t stand deaths from my favorite characters, deaths would add much more to the story ie would REALLY like to see the a playable character die, and then maybe when the character dies you can’t play them anymore or they never get updates or new voice lines, it would be so cool

Two more things:
1. Childe’s hair has a white streak which is like Teppei’s white hair. He has a vision so he is able to withhold the effects of the delusion easier, but it’s still greatly effecting him.
2. He had a voice line about another Fatui member where he says that he always asks him to take care of his sibings and give them food and gifts while he is away in other nations. This can be a red flag because it’s a “when I’m gone someone else will be there for them” thing.
Originally, I thought he would die chasing Scaramouche, but now I am convinced that he’ll die
A. Fighting the archon at the end realizing he has been wronged all his life and could’ve been happy without the Fatui and was being used
or
B. His siblings get threatened and he sacrifices himself
He was recently in Inazuma asking about gifts for his siblings to Yoimiya in the current even (fungi) and said “he has some business to take care of” there and we know he was in the event with Xianyan where he was stuck in the domain for multiple days on end with countless fighting for Fatui business. The biggest surprise at this point is he lives
Disagree for the possibility on point 2 since Childe is one of the least liked Harbringer members because how he is described as a troublemaker so they most likely prefer Childe to be send into another nation instead (and unluckily being Signora's pawn).

@@justpassingby2930 Point 2 was already confirmed by one of wanderer's voicelines where he says the rooster(pulcinella) takes care of his family, but he emphasizes that its just another way of keeping a leash on him because pulcinella has childe's family within his grasp and can easily threaten them or take them hostage on the off chance that childe betrays the fatui or does something to that effect.

To be fair, he's the kind of character that would be the first to challenge a Celestia God and die trying.
If he die, i will cry a lot. I love the relationship between he and traveller, it's like: "Hey, i know you're a bad guy and my enemy, but want to hang out tomorrow, buddy?".

I could see him turning on the fatui if one of the harbingers does something to his family, like dottore taking tuecer and Turning him into a robot etc. we would fight tuecer, he’d die due to delusion backfire. and Childe furious would vow to kill all of the fatui.

However both of them weren't Vision-Holders and both of them used a Mass-Produced Delusion, Teppei even one created with wrong Materials so most likely even more unstable and dangerous.
We do know Diluc did fine using Crepus' Delusion later on for the time he actually used it over his Vision.
And Childe has the pro of NOT having a Mass-Produced one

Another character with death flags is surely Albedo.
1# His own "brother" the Primordial Albedo already tried to replace him which almost led to several deaths. In the final animation of 2.3 event, it looked like they're about to fight each other and we don't even know what happened after that.
2# He is dangerous and even Dainsleif along with Venti are aware of him losing control over himself. If we don't manage to watch over Albedo, it also might result in his death.
These are the biggest two death flags...please HoYo don't let my man die🥲

You know I always assumed, that Vision Holders can't be unalived by Delusions since while they do have an effect on people, the simple fact that they have a vision keeps them safe and the only real draw back is that a Delusion would put a large strain on the Vision holder through their stamina.
That's what I've been assuming too, since Diluc used his father's Delusion years ago during his rampage against Fatui camps and yet he's fine.
Actually it depends but it seems like having a vision does lower the risk of a delusion backfiring. But it depends on the type of delusion is being used, the delusion that diluc used has a chance to backfire and make people in a state of that they rather die. While the inazuma delusion rapidly age a person. I also believe that being a vision holder make u more resistant to delusions side effect. But in the case of childe, his foul legacy can still eat away at his life.
Childe says that it's his foul legacy form that puts him in a bad position though, after we fought him using his electro delusion he didnt seem in a physically bad state, but after we finish the fight he's on the ground panting

On the other hand, the merchant who possessed the hairpins made of the real jade reported feeling progressively ill while in contact with it.
In the Crux fleet tournament quest, which the prize was a "dead" vision, Kazuha tries to light up his deceased friend's vision by frightening the shit out of the dude who stole it. It doesn't work. But later, when Kazuha saves the protagonist from being killed by Shogun, he manages to light up his friend's Electro vision WHILE holding his original Anemo vision. Yes, his willpower to fight an archon with enough power to cause a never-ending storm to protect another friend from being killed was enough for him to have TWO active visions, even for a short period of time.
What is my point? Any elemental power is harmful if not dealt with by someone who holds a vision, which is essentially elemental power. This is because magic is not meant for everyone. When Celestia decides someone is worthy of a vision, their whole being changes to handle elemental power. It's like you and I developed resistance to radiation while others die from it. Those who are deemed worthy of a vision are seem as special for the gods from the start. Visions are not given randomly and one cannot be born with a vision, one has have to PROVE they deserve it. Kazuha proved it twice.
That would explain why Diluc was using an illusion without any side effects, while in Inazuma, Teppei died because of one. A human who doesn't hold a vision using an illusion is 1) physically unable to support the burden of elemental power itself and 2) not worthy enough by Celestia's point of view. Celestia sure is merciless when it comes to people breaking the rules (think of Khaenri'ah).
If Childe dies it will likely be because of the foul legacy, him putting himself in danger all the time, a war breaking out against Celestia or simply by being involved with the Fatui, who are not only breaking Celestia's rules but are already shady people from the start (Dottore is a psychopathic scientist). At least from what I've gathered, dying because of an illusion would be foolish for Childe.

1. Yep, Facts. Also explain why Hydro water is not drinkable cause its made of elemental energy.
2.Slight correction, willpower is not the reason why the vision activated, his ambition correlate with his dead friends ambitions which to be a person brave enough to brave a lightning's glow. I mean you need willpower of course but according yae a vision is someones ambition.
3. Theres no confirmation that a person's body is altered but from evidence we can conclude that allogenes does receive a make up in their body that allows them to handle elemental energy. Also you dont need a vision to handle elemental energy, ex adepti,Barbatos, and other elemental creatures or spirits.
4.Yep from the case of diluc it looks like being a vision bearer negates the side effects of a delusion but its still a theory no confirmation as of yet. Might i add one the fatui cicin mages we met in the chasm was trained to be a cicin mageby the fatui. the fatui might have a special delusion that has no side effects or they have a way to make their soldiers resist the side effects.
5.I would agree on that, childe will mostly die from foul legacy, or fatigue by it that he became too vulnerable to defend himself.
I firmly believe that Childe died when he fell into the abyss when he was a kid, but the woman that found him revived him but also cursed him with the foul legacy

Childe is basically dead already, as he is the only character that has no light in his eyes.
I'm guessing that he has not long to live anymore, especially since characters who are/were gravely ill are more alive than him (Lisa, Dunyazard and Collei in particular.)
Pretty sure he knows he's going to die soon, so his craziness about fighting stems from that.
He wants to die fighting because that'd be an honorable death as said in Signora's "funeral".
A Harbinger who dies for the Tsaritsa's cause is honored even after death.
Considering that he also desperately wants to get noticed by Pierro, dying like that would also grant his wish. Pierro would remember him and his name.
And his family would forever be taken care of by the Harbingers as well, due to him going out fighting and thus dying an honorable death.
Lisa isn’t ill she basically just got her lifespan reduced she wouldn’t be ill just mean she’s gonna die early then she’s supposed to hopefully she survived and Collei was with Tigahnari he helped her and Dunyazard was near death but she was saved still out of all those two did show more signs and I think they’re gonna randomly add Lisa dying on her birthday because they aren’t mentioning her none I’m sumeru which is why I feel like instead of Yae Miko it should’ve been Lisa to come to sumeru she’s pretty chill about life and doesn’t care about much because she already knows her life span is reduced but she is just so lazy and chill id figured she just wants to live the rest of her life until that time has come
but collei and dunyazard are safe, elezar was cured

With how determined he is to revive ajax, he receives a cryo vision that he uses to preserve childe’s body.

That’s because the English team has horrendous voice direction, at least with regard to pronunciation. See the pronunciations of Candace, Tighnari, Fontaine (they can say Xavier right, but not this???), Ayato/Ayaka, and the various Liyue characters’s names (none of which have any consistent pronunciations, except for maybe Qiqi). In actual real-life language, the g in Tartaglia is silent.

funny that you mention Teppei, I do not get attached to npcs that easily but he fucking made me sob when he died and I was so caught off guard that when Dunyarzad got introduced I tried to ignore her in case she died too

I feel that Lisa's the runner-up to Childe, if not, the one more likely to die cos in a now very old Mihoyo interview, it was confirmed that she gave up her lifeforce for knowledge when she touched a magical book that drained her lifeforce. Her hairstyle is what's commonly called the hairstyle of death and she only has a few years to live, I forgot the other signs about her ngl-

STOP because he’s literally my favorite character and has been since he was my first 5* when I first pulled in his FIRST banner like two years ago and even though i stopped playing like 8 months ago and don’t particularly like the game anymore i still love him he’ll always have a special place in my heart and keeps being one of my all time favorite characters 😭😭😭😭😭
