As someone who didn't own this game, I loved seeing this battle. As someone who now owns this game I am dumbfounded how you didn't just get stomped by aircraft and tow missiles from invisible troops in the opposite trees... everything I try something similar its an immediate loss.
Yeah textbook Soviet tactics used throughout this video, especially the single line which gets you most firepower on single enemy unit, though the lack of any artillery support was a bit frustrating.
@@krzysztofkozowicz9830 I agree. His teammate wasn't really using a ton of Arty either. It would really help if he hit those tree lines hiding tows. Other than that he was absolutely stomping through his opponent.
@@Boss_Man1371 it is about numbers and 1 vs 1 against poorly equipped "antitank" infantry unit ends up tank winning but if infantry has best antitank weapon it can end up differently.
@@leohard1814 yeah. I'm struggling adjusting because of years of steel division. You just didn't push through forests with tanks. Especially if enemy infantry is close. In warno not only can you push through trees you can win fights against at infantry consistently. In my head I'm thinking the devs tried to account for better maneuverability and better optics since it's set in 1989. Alot of tanks were retrofitted with thermal optics on the gun sight. Tanks commander likely had their own handheld optics at least. These didn't exist in WW2 so trees were way better concealment.
i've just noticed the t-72 going same speed both forward and backward, is the video sped up? since irl t-72 only goes 4km/h in reverse, while max forward speed s around 50 km/h
Sorry, wrong battlegroup at the start! The deck code in the description should still be correct!
Its not so subtle Tea propaganda!
Now it makes me want to see you play that deck now
Does taking the zone give anything in this game mode?
@@huntersteven yeah in destruction the more zones you have the more income you’ll receive
Watching the points pop off in destruction is pure joy
Love the little T-72 road trip to go see the artillery in the late game.
I was having trouble using Warsaw Pact decks and massing units before they died so this video was super helpful in showing the tactics used.

Holy shit this is a Soviet tank batallion commanders wet dream. Very well played haha.

Turrets of the t72 should be popping off more when destroyed!
Like The real ones but remember this IS a video Game
For a second I thought the UK defence budget was so bad it was being outsourced to Hans Gruber and the gang.
That armour penetration explanation with range was something
Your enemy kind of forgot to put the 'maneuver' in "maneuver warfare", eh?
Tempo tempo tempo
Lol I’m in a room with Osama bin lifting right now
That game was an absolute stomp.
"Minor Victory"
Coming from sd2, still not sure how I feel about all vehicles pushing through dense forests.
seeing thru them is bad enough
Facts! Also notice that tanks are defeating anti tank infantry in forest lol

that was a massacre
cool game
that isnt the right battlegroup you showed in the beginning... innit?
Yeah that looks like his "Territorial Army" one
mistakes were made /and Vulcan cant help himself when it comes to promoting the brits :D
oi mate, we soviet tankers now
Destruction is just boring in my opinion. No strategy needed, just luck and micro.
I played it a lot in Wargame and while it does punish bad micro the most frustrating thing for me was how favored defense is.
@@krzysztofkozowicz9830 Yeah it is often just sitzkrieg with lot of arty and aircraft sniping.
