You would think so but he had a supply truck in range of almost all of his front line units for the lion's share of the game and it really kept a ton of them alive.
The difficulty is the closer I get, the more damage they do also so I was trying to find the sweet spot in these engagements. Saying that, at point blank there is potential for good trades and for the cheaper variants this may have been a good choice.
I like rocket artillery but I don’t think it great at killing stuff besides small weapon teams and light vehicles. How you were using them was a bit wasteful (though you did get some kills) I recommend them to be used in when you are pushing your tanks. Fire the rockets as your tanks move up so when they get in weapon sight the rockets land. They would drop the morale and stun up unit to help the tanks and inf fight. Also you lost one of the special recon units at around 11:00-13:00 minutes and it felt wasteful. Something I do when I got frontline recon in danger of getting pushed by infantry is that I have another infantry squad nearby (usually bigger and beefier squads and preferably good at anti infantry fighting) and when I get the recon in danger I pushed up the other unit in the building, and get my recon to move back. Sometimes I get them back in the building, sometimes not just depends. I rather lose an inf squad over a GSR recon unit.
My goodness! Those MLRS really made themselves worth their weight in gold. That was an awesome battle and I love how for the longest time it's just a constant ebb and flow of who's in control. But it really shows that too many small mistakes will have a severe effect down the line and here it accumulated to you being able to push in deeper and deeper. It may have taken time but I feel like this is the Soviet doctrine of war. Overwhelming amounts of "cheap" high explosives to gain small amounts of ground. Awesome video as always! Kinda curious if you could gather some players where the Soviet side uses the "ran out of budget" builds to try and hold the line against modern NATO. No idea how good it would be with multiple players on the same team using this tactic. But would be a fun y video to see a sea of T-34's just storming the frontline 😂
why not use the akatsiya on automated firing or with return fire command orders so when you're not directly using it or seeing an opportunity it still is just getting value and sending out shots at targets you may not have noticed. Is there a reason not to use it as it could help keep it firing as you mentioned in the end there.

One of the kub missiles goes dumb after the plane dies, it then hits and almost takes out the fireteam leader lmao
Nice spot!
14:31 Bringing in 3 SEAD planes to deal with 2 helicopters feels more like peak capitalism than socialism :D
nice to see you here haha
The Spezialauflarer in the highrise was doing so much spotting for you. This just goes to show how important recon is.
You would really love the german LARS MLRS in this situation. Its far cheaper than the MARS and has Cluster.
The new lighting effects from artillery and MLRS explosions looks so good!
Wow, you literally fired a fob load of rockets at him.
glad 122mm rocket arty is usable now
Love the T72 gameplay!
The k/d is very surprising. It definetly felt like you lost more
Thats the power of the east german decks

To 55s have flamethrowers 4:20
Very fun build! I like the rocket artillery and tank combo. I wonder if some artillery smoke could help with T-72s lacking a bit of range/pen?

When Army General comes out - could you possibly do a multiplayer play through ? (:
18:45 Did that ATGM ricochet off the building and hit the ground? What an awesome little detail, that's so cool
So close to 80k😁😁😁

If it fires and I'm not paying attention it's vulnerable to counter battery.
18:49 who else spotted that ATGM bounce off the apartment building? 😂😂
I wish trenches could be made
Can you please disable this weird unit sizing. It looks so incredibly goofy
It's important so I can see which way units are facing better.
