Today we're gonna build one of easiest IRON farms that exists in the game which gives a lot of iron! I hope you guys enjoy it!

okay guys, i found a way to fix the golems stop spawning, just let the villagers sleep for one night. the easiest fix is to put a trapdoor in front of the zombie. if you want to make the villager sleep just shut off rhe trapdoor in the zombies face in that way the villagers wont see the zombie and theyll be sleeping

They will indeed sleep but on my side, the golem no longer wants to reappear. I tried to sleep at the same time as them or wait for sunrise so that the villagers wake up and I can open the trapdoor but when I do, only one class but in the evening, everyone runs but still no one trace of the golem
@@issaanli0623 maybe check for caves? they might spawn there. or try to change the zombie idk lol
Important note: use chest boats, not regular boats, because if something enters the boat along with the zombie, the zombies hitbox will be pushed to the front, causing it to kill/infect the villagers. for me the farm worked fine for tens of hours, then suddenly a cat entered the boat along with the zombie, killed the villagers
edit: the farm sometimes stops working, if you let the villagers sleep once it starts working again, and to do that just block off the zombies line of sight

The previous farm you posted was so effective I had to update the collection system utilizing the auto crafter - so that I get iron blocks instead of iron ingots. 1.21 Java here.

Put a trapdoor in front of the zombie, wait a whole night and when it becomes day remove the trapdoor

Put a trapdoor in front of the zombie, when, shut it to block the villagers' view for one night so they sleep, then reopen it to restart the farm

watch for caves underneath your farm they might be spawning there
Amazing guide, really helped me earn lots of iron! But I have a question about the zombie boat placement.
Why does pushing it up against the bed prevent the villagers from getting hurt? I have made a few of these bad boys where the zombie placement was away from the villagers, but they still die and turn in into zombos regardless...

@@Ahmed-fd8rdboth should work just fine. If you have any certain issues a lot of ppl explain how to fix it in the comments as well. But Java or bedrock will work 👍🏽

works great! only thing i'd say is to put a glass ceiling above your villagers or else you risk them being struck by lightening and turning into witches

Im in bedrock and it Doesnt work. Everytime i go under the slabs with the boat i can only see black. And the zombie suffocates i think
bedrock mechanics work different, try searching for a bedrock edition farm I think

just those who play on bedrock that this does and doesn't work at the same time. Iron farms work a bit differently on bedrock so you have to include a bit more villagers for it to work on bedrock
How many villagers in total do you need? I've built this farm but it doesn't quite seem to be working yet.
@@pyrohades6816 10 to start spawning cats and 20 to start spawning at least 1 or 2 iron golems at a time. I don't get why mojang just makes it similar to java so its not as difficult to build iron farms

Works on java 1.20.6. Built it on a server above a river with water at least 2 blocks deep in a 20x20 area around the villagers. To be save I would recommend making a 25 x 25 unspawnable area.
It does work but only once night someone need to fix this, after you collect 2s iron in chest iron golem won't spawn again
an indestructible area of 25*25? it must be sifted earth of 325*25 instead of 19*19 as recommended in the video?
The farm works only once. After a while it stops producing golems and you need to reboot it by killing the zombie and letting villagers sleep for a night and work for a day.
Also once in a while a zombie can reach a villager and damage him. Don't forget to feed villagers
Edit: golem keeps spawning over a bed or outside the farm but not in a trap

Is there anyway to avoid the villagers being struck by lightning? I left it going on all night and when I woke up the villagers turned into witches

Did you use the shovel everywhere, and placed all the buttons? (I had the same problem because I forgot one button)
Don't really need to break all the beds in the village. Just bring 3 villagers and place the beds inside and let it become night time the villagers will go in the farm as the beds are the nearest

I saw in another iron farm video that you have to get the zombie to pick up something in his hands or nametag him to prevent from despawning

Honestly a really great farm for being able to build it day 1. I approve
my villagers are getting damaged randomly by the zombie, and dying sometimes, then farm not work cause need atleast 3 villagers. i installed a trapdoor infront of the zombie in boat, then villagers no panicked so iron golem wont spawn. how can i make the zombie in boat never damage the villagers?
@@youtubehodol3989 That's strange. My villagers never walk up near the zombie. Maybe you should make sure they are actually paired to the workstations so they will stay in that area more. But this farm has worked for me with nitwits so I'm not really sure.
@@youtubehodol3989 make sure the boat is a chest boat. If extra mobs are in a regular boat it forces the first to move it's hitbox forwards which will increase it's range. A chest boat is like a normal boat for one person without increasing range.

@@zage932 i just moved the boat with zombie 1 block behind and put a slab in middle so villagers can sleep sometimes. iron is like cheaper than dirt to me rn.
The golem kept spawning on the beds for me which shut down production so I added a roof that was too low to allow (and trapped the villagers in the area with the crafting tables) but that fixed the problem.
Did everything but when the zombie goes into the boat it hits them every so often and then when I get the zombie to stop hitting them or even if they manage to damage the villagers golems aren’t spawning,

villagers dont despawn, make sure nothing else is gettting in the boat with the zombie or else the zombies hitbox will get close enough to the villagers to kill the,

Can someone explain why the iron golem stops spawning after a while? Sometimes it only spawns once, or it lasts for like 30 minutes. It will only ever respawn if I put a new zombie in the boat
Gotta name tag the zombie or it’ll respawn and farm stop working
Also u gotta let the villagers sleep sometimes, do this by blocking the zombies line of sight to the villagers

I think bedrock requires more villagers so any iron farm that has only 3 villagers are the iron farms that works in java
more tip: you can use item sorting machine to get ONLY iron without flowers. you can use dispenser and composter to get bone meal!

It didn’t work for me I’m doing everything correctly. I check for any nearby caves but nothing. And the zombies are killing my villagers!!! I lost so much patience with this farm.. please help
Same happening to me, just checked and all the three villagers are dead, only the zombie alive, I am not sure if the zombie killed them, or if they managed to despawn in some sort of way, but as far as I am aware, they aren't supposed to despawn like that.

With the beds no, but when the villagers have no bed assigned, then they will go to your beds themselves. And you have to kill the golems, because if the villagers have a golem close, they will not spawn another one.
It wont help you since the golem of farm will take same time to spawn

okay just for clarity, i really jus need the beds in the chamber to let them sleep every so often and to get the villagers easily into the chamber but once they’re in i can put the beds back in the village?

The "IRON" Golem farm is easy to bulid and very good
My zombie burns even under the slabs. How could I add additional blocks overhead without ruining spawns?
You can find a zombie with some sort of helmet
Drop a helmet to a zombie then put it in the boat

You never clarified where to put the 5x5 hole, so I had to clear out extra blocks to be able to put down the path.

If the farm isn't working, make sure your beds are facing the correct way. That fixed it for me, my golem would stop spawning previously
