At 28:15 - the players don't all have to agree where LJS is imprisoned - the active player decides. They may consult the other players, but the player on the calendar spot gets final say.
The pirates should have formed a searching party for Jen. She never showed up. :P
I'm not possitiv that the compass by 16 minits actually didinot show the the left eye. the sections that rahdo drew on Jen's map were for shure from the rong center.

Gameplay looks great but those markers and boards look horrible. I csnt even imavin someone colorblind being able to play this. It seems like it could be better off just having a black and white pad of paper for the individual player maps.
EVERYBODY is complaining about those pens....they HAD to have known they weren't working well
Thanks I read the instructions and watched another video, multiple other videos but I was still confused. This really really helped me prepare to run a game.

16:20 I guess you put your compass on the wrong spot on the minimimap,, because tthe edge shouldnt cross the island. Nice explanation of rules though, thx!
Spotted this too. With the small map you kind of have to key off the white district lines more than the artwork.

I don’t see that the rules ever refer to the miniatures as “pirates.” I think “pirate” always refers to a player.

rahdo rahdo The note at 7:51 states that the rules refer to both the minis and the players as “pirates,” which would cause ambiguity. I think the rules were consistent, however.
Also, you were calling the minis “pirates,” and stated that it was weird that the rules call the players “pirates,” but they did this to distinguish the LJS player from the “pirate players.”
I thought you are only supposed to write in the small maps?
most long john hints instruct the player to draw on the main map :)
