Ouroboros power gained through the power of combining the energy of matter and antimatter, something that cannot exist and the universe can only sustain for a short amount of time.
1:29 no it isn’t. Between Taion, Eunie, and especially Sena, we know it’s possible to change class without Ouroboros blood. Eunie is implied to have been an Attacker before Joran’s sacrifice. Taion learned how do use Mondo from Nimue, implying he was her Class Inheritor. But most obviously, a random Agnian soldier in a flashback recommends that Sena ditch her hammer in favor of twin pistols. Edit: Something that IS Ouroboros-exclusive is gaining the muscle memory of their chosen class and seeing the icons of others’. My headcanon is normal soldiers can swap classes until they reach 3rd Term, which is implied to be when training ends iirc.
ouroboros could change it on the spot by "unlocking it" and, "see all the techniques flashing before their eyes," I don't think normal people could do that. its also stated many times by different heroes that they cant take the blades of other people. i think maybe when starting out, you can decide your own blade depending on how you want to fight. that explains eunies situation, because from one of the first couple flashbacks in the game you can already see eunie fighting with her medic gunner class. the last lives in colony 18 where she was a sharpshooter class may be because she decided to, or maybe because her allies at the time already covered healing and defending. maybe eunie just likes guns. in taions case, its very possible that he chose the mondo and then nimue decided to help train him, taion didn't have to specifically choose mondo because of nimue.
When was Eunie implied to be an attacker? If your referring to the life she lived before (The one where D destroyed her Colony) then that is completely different as that would have been a completely different Eunie (Nothing to say that someone HAS to keep the same blade through their different lives) Taion is also a funny one cos again, it doesn't really tell us anything. Nimue may have taught him how to use the Mondo "effectively" but that doesn't mean she had to be using the Mondo herself (I think she did but my point is that she can teach him even with a different blade) and there is nothing to imply that Taion ever switched blades and chose to use the Mondo. In fact, its actually more likely that Taion met Nimue when he transferred to Colony Lambda from wherever the newbies of the Agnian side are trained (Possibly Colony Theta) meaning that they coincedently used the same blades which isn't that hard to believe tbh As for Sena, she is by far the most complex one. I can definetely see where people get the idea that it's possible from but that is not how I interpreted this scene at all. After re-watching this scene, it merely looks like its some bullies picking on her and making fun of her. If she couldn't swap blades (Like she realistically can't) then it would hit harder on her with how she's forced to use a weapon that others mock and it adds to her whole story of accepting herself. My conclusion is that we literally NEVER see any evidence that an ordinary soldior can switch a blade and therefore, there is absolutely no reason to assume that this is the case. Maybe like you say they could in training but I find that doubtful even then so it remains to be seen as of yet
While other soldiers can change weapons, they cannot change "class," or at least cannot do so as easily as Ouroboros. Changing weapons only changes the item in your hand, not your understanding and ability with it. Changing class does, and it does so instantly. While instruction can allow one to learn how to use a given blade, like Tiaon learning to use the Mondo from Nimue, inheriting a class essentially skips the learning and just gives you (the inheritor) the results of the training and practice they (the inheritant) put in to gain that level of skill and aptitude.
When you say that a lot of aspects are linked to Origin, it is also notewoethy to bring up that in the Final Battle (Spoilers): Z has the power to Disable Interlinking, which affects Ouroboros, Cross arts and Chain attack (Although I don't understand how Chain attack was Disabled but I think it's because they were only able to understand chain attacking by recalling each other's Memory, hence why Fusion arts increases Chain attack Meter). Although our protagonist were able to invalidate Z's power, I think the simple fact Z could do something like that is proof that they are related in some way
I always thought that chain attacks were just the characters syncing their attacks through their eyes and attacking in sync with each other with a plan made by the character who made the chain order which is why they all turn on their iris's when the chain attack starts and why the order menu is purple like the iris's.
Exactly! The same thing was actually shown before when X was using Z's power to pull Lanz & Sena out of their Ouroboros when they were about to defeat N. We think this works exactly like the Apocrypha Generator actually as Egil was able to shut down the Monado completely (Until Shulk brute forced its way back on through all of the Mechonis section) so with the same concept, Z was likely just using the opposite wavelength to Nullify the interlinking powers The rest of the stuff however is a bit more up in the air tho as it ties into Irises which are the BIGGEST wtf thing in this game
@@JBspherefreak a part of me wonders if the irises were technology created by z with the express purpose of better controlling the soldiers if needed but to not raise suspicion he made it a literal military grade I-phone This isn't tech that existed In alrest or bionis at all and there really wasn't a need for either cultures to create something like this at the time.
Agreed Berdom! I've came to the same conclusion as Y stated his ability was to create flame clocks and it seems a little to convenient for them to be compatible with Irises just like that if they already existed. The other part of it is that the queens or at least Nia has been shown not to have one (I assume Melia doesn't also, there are other ways to draw a blade like she did)
I think the class are an effect of the colectiv inconscient. Why... Because in chapter 2 when they discover that feater Mio said it's something that was always insind them. That's cool aslo explain things like same technic/art as some character because if the person who use this art die he became a part of the collectiv inconscient. Exemple Ashera have Dunban art.
I mean, Origin kinda acts like a big Collective Unconsciouss but its more likely to say that the data was stored in Origin and the Ouroboros members can simply pick and choose what they want to use at any moment
Say, if this is what happens with Nia’s core crystal, Imagine an Aegis core Crystal creating an Ouroburos? Pretty sure Moebius would’ve taken Ouroburos more seriously. Instead of being hyper arrogant.
So while this whole video does make me appreciate the ouroborus powers more it does also make me dislike how poorly the game explains these elements of its story even more. Like I feel as though if someone didn't watch a video like this they'd have no idea how these powers even fully work.
@@linkalot7415 as a guy who likes the souldborne games I completely agree on the speculation part. I just wish xenoblade 3 was a bit better with handling its information like the former is.

Ouroboros! The power of friendship, fusion and shipping.
