Aaaahhh what a good game!!!! Definitely need a part 2, feels like we're just playing the part 1 or even a demo. Such a cool concept with a good sound engineer, those sound haunts me every time!! Can't wait for part 2 (hopefully) so we can reveal what happened to this village. Seems like an experiment gone wrong tho, but it's interesting enough because of the mechanism of this game.
59:05 was so funny. I mean it was terrifying. But the "Please just be a regular dude" followed by "You are not a regular dude", then sort of just...watching with resignation as it approaches before suddenly snapping back to reality like "wait OH! oh no!"
This was a really fun playthrough. Thematically and game mechanics-wise, this game reminded me of Darkwood. Gab makes watching horror games not only bearable but actually enjoyable.
It had a sad end, but it didn't leave me disappointed. It has a good build for a sequel to it, and I think a lot of people would enjoy this. The crafting wasn't overdone and the monsters hunting you was surprisingly well done by what I saw you play. I swear it seemed like they were stalking you for a minute sometimes 🤣 it actually made the horror aspect better instead of having you just being chased down by 10-15 monsters at once and made it more suspenseful, especially when loading into an area and hearing the screech - just * knowing * it's out there and that it knows you're there 😰 Also, I like how they let you figure stuff out on your own, or at least gave you the option to like with the pictures in the church and the holy candles. I don't play a lot of indie survival games, but this one was really, really well done IMO. Great game. Hope they make more. 👍🏾👍🏾
Ma'am...we need to talk about this thumbnail. The definition of nope... There's something about Evelien that makes me feel like I'm watching my classy Dutch friend game. She's just very relatable and down to earth and calming. She's also very grateful to the supporters she has which is very sweet. It feels more like an international friendship than a stranger which is nice.
This game has a great atmosphere and feel. Would love to see more chapters added on to this. It felt short for a $20 game. Things I got jumpscared by: our own hands when Gab hit the elevator switch, and the cow graphic in the corner when we were at the farmhouse. Not my proudest moments! lol
hey, i have put your video on bc youtube recommended it and i wanted something to fall asleep to. But i ended up watching the video(s) instead... So thanks, subbed. Keep it up!
This is definitely an interesting game. There were bugs here and there, but honestly, for an indie dev it was nothing egregious. The gameplay looks interesting, although I feel like the ending didn't build appropriately. I figured when I saw the big tentacle boi in the reactor that you were going to switch it on and kill the thing, but I wasn't expecting it to be the source of it all. idk, I feel like there could have been more build up to the reactor as being the final step, like all the signs as you log the anomalies pointing towards it. Maybe it just got glossed over in this playthrough, but I also feel like that creepy one-shot dude doesn't really fit into it all. I did like how the number of corpses suddenly skyrocketed as you get close though. That was good foreshadowing that something dangerous was close by. The story that was there was pretty interesting too, I assume some logs were just missed that might have helped pull it together more. All in all, a pretty good indie horror game.
I just got biggest jumpscared when all we did was push elevator button and turn around... it looked like our own arms were grabbing at us and I almost died in my chair.
59:16 that is the monster from the demo in the demo you are in a safe house and you need to barricate so the monster didn't kill you and it supposed to be every night and a different monster in every area it was the good part of derkwood that didnt put here in the end. Probably the game will be in episodes (I think is not this the full story)
This garnered a lot of criticism due to the game being short and bug-filled. They wanted more content due the game being at the price it is, and were rightfully angry when it didn't deliver. Hopefully this doesn't discourage the team, because they have a good foundation. If the game was portrayed as early access or even just a demo, I'm sure they could've received a better response. Didn't feel complete when I played it, but I truly like where it is heading.
I was getting Soma Flashbacks during your first playthrough... I was wondering if you were some sort of cyberman or computer AI? The reason I was wondering this was because the screen kept having some sort of radio type frequence... whenever u were around certain things. Im only just starting the water part at 45:00 , so I could be wrong. But my guesses are ur a cpu or somehow the Gasmask also has Oxygen or something? Maybe the dev forgot water physics...
Watching Road to El Dorado was probably the first time I could feel my bisexuality emerging xD that with being actually clever and funny written put it in special place for me. Can't help but to smile, when Gabs started referencing it :P
how is your suit literally extracting enough oxygen from the water to allow you to breathe, and sealed so tightly that you're not at risk of springing a leak even 30 feet underwater, but it can't withstand the cold air outside? or let you walk through the four inches of water you tried to cross earlier in the stream? this logic is not logic-ing
How TF is 45:12 not a face on the wall. O was so sure it was creepy painting. But it turned out to just be the light reflection forming a damn near perfect baby face on the wall.
I just finished watching the 1st part of this when I got the notification this was uploaded, which was Nice 😁 On a slightly unrelated note, did this game have demo or something? I remember watching somone play a *really* similar game, only you had to hide from a monster while exploring a house???
@@Sqquidd. Precisely! @Dweeb Gaming: If getting some ink is what you really want to do, I say *GO FOR IT!* Evelien will turn thirty-four in September and she has no reservations whatsoever regarding what her tattoos are going to look like when she’s eighty. I say that, because she mentioned her opinion on the subject in her Tattoo Vlog, which I highly recommend watching if you haven’t already. Also sure, she doesn’t have any children; but I don’t think age, or any sort of stereotypical “stats,” should deter a person who really wants some tattoos. 💚🤗🤗💚
😂😂😂 Right? Buffet style bosses - got your equipment-shorting wraiths, your standard limping undead, your abominable snowskeleton, and of course the mysterious frienemy behind it all.
I was about to comment I would not go on an elevator to an underground area because what if the area was filled with water than boom you were submerged😂😂
I liked this game a lot, it has a nice set up for a second game. hope u can kill stompycarl:( a pleasure watching u as always, it makes the scary less scary

So sad that this ended so quickly, I absolutely love when you play games like this. You just make horror games of any sort so chill & goofy.
Yeah, a bit of to short as to be a crafting survival game..
This was a really fun playthrough. Thematically and game mechanics-wise, this game reminded me of Darkwood. Gab makes watching horror games not only bearable but actually enjoyable.
i really wana see her play darkwood so bad, i hope she will get to it some day.
I don’t know what it is about your personality that makes me feel like I’m watching my best friend play a game but I love it 😂
Yup
TRUEEEEE
it's like hanging out with your best friend & chatting while you watch them play video games; i love it.
I feel exactly the same!!!
Cringe

TRAMBOBALINE
now it's stuck in my head
Also a school with trampolines? I'd love P.E. lessons a lot more
we had trampolining lessons for PE for like a term in yr11. It was AMAZING

I love this game! So happy for another (and last) upload! Kinda sad to watch this ends! Really love the atmosphere of the game and gabs playthrough!!!
Boss Monster: I afraid of no man
DOOR:
Boss Monster: ... But that thing, it scares me
Gab: I am no man!
Door: And my axe!

I loved this game and it was made very well. Id love a full AAA game of this concept.
I love Gab's voice. Used to be selective with playthroughs but will listen along for anything now
So Soothing
When you said "We've got gills" my brain went "We got gills, they're multiplying and I'm losing control!"

The world the dev team has created opens up to different ways to tell stories in that environment.
me: *trying to enjoy a nice bowl of cocoa pebbles*
Gab: zooms in on a bloated dead child with maggots in their decaying appendages
me: "nevermind"
I just got biggest jumpscared when all we did was push elevator button and turn around... it looked like our own arms were grabbing at us and I almost died in my chair.
You might like the long dark, its a story driven survival game with some horror elements
my man Pavel doing a great job AND my fav youtuber playing it? Best day ever!
That was actually so good. I really enjoyed it. AND it looked good. I hope they continue on
59:16 that is the monster from the demo

He stomp, he stomp, he do the Carl stomp!
I think a live-action movie of The Road the El Dorado with Pedro Pascal and Oscar Issac would be a really great combo
"Trampobaline. For when you need that extra spring in your jump."
Very interesting game! I'd like them to be able to make a part 2 of it or add new missions onto this one in the future.
Yessssssss!!!!!!! Just got home to see this upload! Im so happy to see the end 🤗🤗 much love Gabs!!!
Love u gab always a joy to watch. !
Loved it! Hoping now to see a Gab treatment of The Long Dark :)
Yeeeeeeesssss! I was waiting for this like my house is on fire! 🤣🤣🙌🙌 I love it, I love it! Thanks Gabi 💗

Backup battery?
i think it's a lot of fun. I would love to see them to do more but I def see a lot of negative reviews so I feel like we won't
I hope it gets more attention. It is a good game!

Idk if it's such a good idea to connect to electricity after being in water 😅🤷🏻♂️
Gab's tattoos so good along with her strong good looking arms
Maybe there was a hole in the bench and they used it to make the toilet not so hard on the knees 🤔
Please play Paradise Lost, Remember Me, and Mirror's Edge games !

Beware the wendigos.
I forgot about piggie dippin! Haha!
Nice
He has backheads, instead of blackheads lol
wtf only a bolt action rifle?? oh well... better than nothin`...
This game seems very inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
What's the point of indie games if you never get to succeed at the end?
It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
@@agustinbarquero8898 I'm calling bullshit on that.
GAB PLAY CLOSE TO THE SUN HORROR GAME
I’d just leave lol wear a mask out in public 😂
Gab can you check out the game: Coromon
