1:36:56 As far as I know, a vengeful spirit (怨霊) doesn't need to be the spirit of someone who is dead (死霊), but can also be the spirit of someone who is living (生霊), like Lady Rokujo in Genji Monogatari. I don't know why we don't see these sort of spirits more often in Japanese horror stories. X)
@@isabelbelem9062 Well, depending on the story, a "living spirit" (生霊) can sometimes be consciously controlled by the living person from which that spirit comes from, but sometimes the living person is unconscious of his or her spirit's actions. If the "living spirit" is a "vengeful spirit" (怨霊), you can seek its forgiveness by confronting not only the spirit, but also by confronting the living person of that spirit. In some stories, a "living spirit" leaves the living person's body only when they are asleep, so in that case, you can know you won't encounter the "living spirit" when its living person is awake. When a living person with a "living spirit" dies or is killed, the "living spirit" often becomes a "dead spirit" (死霊), so if it was a "vengeful spirit", killing the living person won't save you from the vengeance of the spirit, it might only make it worse. Also, often but not always, "dead spirits" look dead and are easily recognizable as spirits by those who see them, while "living spirits" look alive and can be mistaken for a living person. There are stories of both "living spirits" and "dead spirits" being able to possess an other person's body. There are also stories of both "living spirits" and "dead spirits" being able to curse their victims to death. But sometimes spirits only appears in front of someone to talk to them, sometimes to help them, sometimes to ask them for help, sometimes to torment them, without possessing them or cursing them. In some stories, spirits can move objects, in other stories, they can't. ... I would like to give you sources and references, unfortunately, I don't have them at hand. I'm just writing from what I can remember of the Japanese ghost stories I've read/watched throughout my life. I hope it was interesting. x)
@@scribbles504 Is it the story about the evil hair spirit? If that's so, then it's a little different, since it's not the evil spirit of a person (living or dead), but the evil spirit of a person's hair. Have we played the demo for this long time ago or something new ?
Anyway at work now, getting home and watching 😁
Gotta be like 1AM perfect
I thought so too because it does feel familiar,
Doing a quick search and there's only John's video of the demo popped up
Maybe you thought about the game with the scissor mechanic, because they do look similar
@@reinhartnata47 Ginkgo that's the one I was thinking about
But that was mostly from the thumbnail not sure why
Only now started watching this, back home,2 AM 😂 gotta go to bed soon tho, oyasumi
14:32 THAT GOT ME
haha at the 30 mark i thought she found a fricking crackpipe XD im dying. love u Gab
The atmosphere in this is very good
10:36 Tattoo idea: How about 目目連 evil eyes or 鬼火 fire orbs? Your ideas sound interesting too. I hope you find something you love. x)
The graphics are on point...already Love this game
saw this game the other day and was wondering if i should play it but im having more fun watching you
Yes! I was really hoping that you would play this Gab!! 😋😋 what a coincidence too, was just watching a bunch of Ju-On explained videos and Ju-On: Origins explained last night lol. Crazy to think that actually events like the child serial killer were based on true events.
I'm not sure what it means, but the symbol on the lantern you carried with you would make a great tattoo!
Lmao I had this on preorder but changed my mind and cancelled it to move my money to another order. I'm happy youve picked up the game. I don't think anyone knew about this game to preorder any copies.
Lol I found it funny when you had to draw the final pieces it’s obvious you got so nervous 😅
Oh no if i see that much spiderwebs and baby spiders i would say "kill it kill it with FIRE!!!"
Absolutely loved it ❤️ thank you for playing. I loved all the lore as well as the jump scares the one that jumps down from the tree's had me bad 🫣😂
As for the Tattoo suggestion, because you want to get the lady with the long neck why not get the Demon Pandomian cart and have her wrapped around it and stretching out. From there you could add more demons and yokia and have your own Pandemonium Night Parade of 1000 demons?
This playthrough is great. 👍🏻
Can someone explain how Ev is sorting the jewels out? Like how she knows where to put each one?1:37:48 I am so stupid and confused.
