It’s interesting how the media classifies Trey Songz as a rapper when he commits crimes but when he’s doing good, he’s an R&B singer. Interesting…

I remember when Keke palmer said he made her so uncomfortable that she hid in the closet. But the media at the time was spinning the narrative like she was upset about being in his video for 2 seconds. I feel like he's being protected by big people. Something about his energy, like Diddy, is very dark, his fall coming also!

Aside from him being violent, and a (alleged) rapist.
Just music wise, Trey had been such a one trick pony for a while. He got by for a long time for being decent looking, and singing about sex with increasingly mediocre lyrics. Powder head Chris Brown at least can dance, rap and has good stage presence, but Trey got by on putting out just ok RnB music for a while. I stopped paying too much attention to his music around the early to mid 2010s cos as a listener I just got bored.

Once someone abuses one person, they will continue chasing that high until they get caught.

when it comes to 2010's R&B people really forget how much and how important trey songz was he really held things down.
in 2009 usher was going through a divorce and wasn't selling records like that
    chris had the rihanna situation
    omarion fell off
lloyd was still searching for a record deal
allot of R&B groups and singers both male and female didn't transition to the next decade but when trey dropped "ready" in 09 he really ushered it in even in the mid 10's
trigga and tremaine were really solid albums that had plenty of hits. even his mix tapes he dropped antcipation1-3 as example 2 being his best work imo
this man was a solo R&B artist selling out stadiums world wide that's wild
its a shame all this stuff came out about him im sure if it didnt or if he didnt do any of the stuff everyone would look at him differently and his legacy would be treated differently .....

I said this in another part of this comment section. S-xual assault is viewed far different than DV or intimate partner violence and in a specific way it is different.
Both are violations. However DV is viewed as more tolerable bc it is in fact a different type of violence. Also some view DV as acceptable especially if they believe the perpetrator was provoked. It’s often said you can recover from physical pain much more than emotional or spiritual pain. I’m not minimizing DV by saying this.
SA is an assault to the spirit and emotional body even if you don’t remember it or it didn’t hurt.

I think you just said it all, the Man never really had PASSION for the MUSIC...Infact, i was in my early teens when he blew up but even as a Child, I never saw him as someone who was Really Talented... His Music was unoriginal and inauthentic from day 1.

Used to love Trey Songz so much. That was really baby daddy 😍😩 I can’t believe his career went down like this and then I just realized he lowkey stole R Kelly whole style with the braids and all.

That mane always sounded like Lamb Chop. I mean they were bangers but his voice is shaky af.
Wait all this and this man was married?
He didn’t even get 10 albums in before turning into a monster. If Chris Brown kept his foot on the gas the whole time this dude would have a short lived career like Mario did (no shade to Mario).
Only clip that was missing was him and another dude going live in their boxers on a balcony looking zesty.
*You did an excellent job putting this video together. I want to see more from you.
