Not really proof. Tifa just remembers what SHE thinks of Cloud and her memories. Aerith, Zack all play a role in Clouds memories too. :D remembering your friends memories doesnt mean youre meant to be in love. it means youre a good friend.
Miss Liali No, I literally just watched the Lifestream scene. She supports Cloud but she doesn’t tell him what his memories are, she has him remember himself what his memories are. Only a few times does she recall her memories to see if they match with Cloud’s to see if his memories are real. The mako reactor, who Zack was, what happened in Nibelheim, even what happened to Tifa’s mother is remembered by Cloud himself.
Cloud and Tifa will always be one of the most best couples of Final Fantasy franchise. Aeris doesn't count because Cloud was brainwashed to think he was Zack, and Zack loved Aeris.
You do realize this anime adaption is just that right, and not part of SE? SE never acknowledges it. Not once. They do however acknowledge Aerith's canon novella Maiden who travels the planet as well as the Ultimania, and the other novellas. Cloud had a dim crush on Tifa, and Aerith's light taste of first love was Zack, which in both cases neither Cloud and Tifa, or Aerith and Zack were serious. Cloud assumed Tifa was a goner, and never showed her his face, since years later tifa had no idea that Cloud was in Nibelheim. Hence, the fact she assumed he became this soldier, and fell in love with the Zack persona in Cloud. Cloud maintained a part of himself and that part that was solely his, fell in love with Aerith. The Zack persona Cloud had only influenced him to become something he's not: Positive and outgoing, Aerith knew the differences between Cloud and Zack, and liked Cloud's introverted, awkward and simple personality which she found it cute, verses Zack's eccentric side. Interestingly enough, it was actually Tifa who fell in love with Zack's eccentric, soldier personality since that's what she wanted in Cloud. Tifa only developed a crush on Cloud because she was chasing her fantasy of what she wanted Cloud to be, this soldier who was top notched, and awesome, and didn't like Cloud for who he really was. Her constant lying to him, even when figuring out he never made it into soldier was proof enough of her reasoning behind her crush on the Zack persona Cloud had. Going back to their childhood, Cloud and Tifa were more like strangers. Cloud wanted to become friends with her and her friends, but she and her friends, bullied Cloud and didn't include him. SE and a Japanese interviewer on this subject, both have stated tifa and her friends participated in Japanese bullying, and Cloud being the victim suffered from Ijime. Look it up. Tifa and Cloud at the well scene, is viewed by many to be romantic on the surface when its really not. Since A. Tifa only started caring about Cloud when she learned he wanted to be this super cool soldier, only then did she acknowledged his existence. B. Cloud and Tifa shared their first conversation at the well scene. C. Tifa practically begged Cloud to make this promise to her, even though it was clear by him constantly asking, "What?" made it clear his tone and mannerism was reluctant. This promise treasured by many Cloti and Zearith fans did not really mean anything to Cloud, sure he had a dim and light crush on her during their childhood, but that was it. It was a crush, and that crush like Aerith had on Zack faded with time. In FF7 it's clear Cloud didn't remember tifa, or their starry night promise, which Tifa valued, while Cloud didn't. Tifa had to remind Cloud of their promise, and that still didn't matter to him, after she jogged his memory of that night. All Cloud wanted was the money, so Tifa resorts to BEGGING Cloud to stay and help their cause. Cloud isn't persuaded to help her until Barrett agrees to his terms in paying him double the price than what was originally negotiated. Cloud valued money over Tifa's starry night promise, made when they were kids. Let's analyze the promise between them: Tifa at first strong armed Cloud into making that promise with her. Cloud reluctantly agreed, and Tifa only wanted Cloud to save her and be there for her, only IF he became famous. Cloud wanted to impress tifa but also his entire town as well. He wanted to show everyone he could be this awesome soldier then felt ashamed when he didn't make it. Zack was a ladies man, a huge flirt and loved women. He flirted with this female soldier before CC happened, calling her beautiful. He flirted with Cissnei, and Aerith, as well as a Shinra secretary. He and Aerith were never serious about each other, even Crisis Core comments on how Aerith and Zack had a relationship that was similar to friendship and shared a platonic love towards each other, than it being anything near romance. Zack had no intention of returning to Aerith once he made it back to Midgar. Remembering she had a mother, he wasn't going to stay at her place, since it was in his nature to be a ladies man, I doubt Zack was ever serious about any of the girls. Like Aerith told him in the Lifestream, "Someone getting along with a lot of girls, doesn't make them a good lover." Zack: "But I'm friendly with everybody." Aerith replies, "And that's your bad point. You're not simplistic or awkward like Cloud." Even in her death, Aerith still loves Cloud and prefers him over Zack. Zack, since they weren't serious, is okay with knowing Aerith prefers Cloud over him, and they still maintain their platonic friendship picking up where they left off. It was thoughts of Cloud, that made Zack wake up from his sleep in the Lifestream, in the first place. Aerith and Cloud are still able to see, hear, and touch each other even though Aerith is dead. Death is not a barrier, that rips them apart according to SE and Nomura himself. Going back to Crisis Core, Nojima describes Zack and Aerith as falling into a sudden crush, there was no time to explain how they grew fond of each other, Aerith calls Zack her light taste of first love, breaking up with him near the end of Crisis Core. Originally Zack and Aerith met each other while Aerith was already selling flowers, so Zack basically creating Aerith's character, is very OOC, and there were a lot more inconsistencies to add to Crisis Core's retconning spree. Zack falls to the Church of the Slum during his mission and ends up meeting the girl Aerith, who's trimming flowers. They both feel contented simply with each other's company; it's a platonic love. They think these kinds of happy days will last forever, but.... (Crisis Core Ultimania, Zack's profile) They attract to each other by mutual feelings similar to friendship, because they're both juvenile, if you call it love... (Crisis Core Ultimania) Q: Some parts we didn’t imagine from Aerith’s saying of “he’s my first love” in FF7 are depicted in CC. There are many FF7 fans who’re pleased about it. Nojima: The setting that “falling from the roof of the Church” repeats Aerith’s encounter with Cloud was decided in the beginning. Though we’re talking about love, they are still young and there’s no time to describe “how they become fond of each other” in the game. So I made it like “falling into a sudden crush.” Personally, the setting that Aerith’s “how about one date” to Cloud in FF7 reappears in Zack’s lines is the greatest joy to me. Even though this line was casually placed in FF7, I care a bit about the saying that “it was thoughtless of her to say that.” The way of having Aerith receive Zack’s words is a defense for her. (Crisis Core Ultimania, p. 579)
what a waste of time. "For many years, Cloud and Tifa have been holding favor for one another. At last facing the impending final battle with Sephiroth, they confirm together their feelings of desire towards one another" - FF 25th AU¨ "Apart from being Cloud’s childhood friend, she is also the woman who understands him all too well and devotedly supports the mentally-weak side of him". - FFVII 10thAnniversary Ultimania Tifa Lockhart Character Profile p 42-47 Cloud and Tifa is the canon OTP. don't make me dig up more stuff
@@ellerysmith4449 Zack: the best wingman "I really need to get some medical attention, I am at serious risk of dying...but damnit I will NOT cockblock my little bro's moment. You go, Cloud! Get you some!.....ahh shit, but if you could be a lil faster?"
@@andrewmichael-wesley7451 nah, they're more focused on letting the players/people decide for themselves, therefore neither is canon (Cloti or Claerith)
lol "Thanks to Tifa, Cloud regains himself, and before the final battle with Sephiroth, without using words, he confirms with her that their feelings match." in other words, SOOOOOOO not friend zoned with each other anymore...
+Yukime “cherry blossom” Hime i always assumed cloud ended up with tifa because of advent children. cause you see in the end aerith walks to zack in the afterlife, and cloud has this acceptance scene only for cloud and tifa look at each other and smile with those fuck me eyes XD
***** Cloud and Tifa live together still as friends in ACC. Cloud was invited by Marlene into their family of friends. As stated by Tifa in her novel. The family of friends was started by Marlene and Barrett. Then Marlene included Cloud into their family. Cloud can't let go of his undying feelings he has for Aerith, because he doesn't want to, nor should anyone force him to do so. www.clerith.heliohost.org/CoT%20Analysis.htm If you watch Advent Children again, you'll see, Zack walks ahead of Aerith while she lingers a little longer, smiling back at Cloud, as he smiles a true and real smile towards her. Aerith turns away and walks behind Zack. In Maiden who travels the planet, Aerith's novel, which was supervised by Nomura and SE, to make it canon, Aerith thinks of her love Cloud, and it is thoughts of Cloud that awakens Zack. Once reunited, Zack and Aerith talk about Cloud. Zack hints at that maybe if he lived they could have picked up where they left off. Aerith declines him, and says that things would have been different, and she liked Cloud's simple and awkwardness than Zack's eccentric self. Zack is not offended or hurt by her choice, and even laughs it off, and continues to flirt with her anyway, but still being a good friend. Which what they view each other as, in the Lifestream, as friends. Aerith keeps turning him down. Zack offers to keep Aerith company, as he gets tired, (Aerith can't get tired that easily, because she is from the Cetra race) Aerith again denies his flirting advances, saying, "Only if I get really lonely, goodnight Zack." Yukime Hime whoa dude i was just joking around you didn't have to make an assignment to try and convince your fantasy story you're unbelievably high up on yourself aren't you 0_0
***** Sorry. I realized that, at the last minute. O.O It's sometimes hard to tell when someone is kidding on here. I have a lot of people against me on here.
lmao at the angry Aeris fan boys, sorry kiddies, but long before Cloud got brainfucked into thinking he was Zack. Cloud loved Tifa. And Zack is Aeris' boyfriend, and she never knew about Zack being dead,. And after she became worm food, she got reunited with Zack.
+HTakara82 Hate to burst your bubble, but Cloud didn't love Tifa. He fancied her as a child, but long forgot about her and their "promise under the stars" this scene is too blown out of proportion and what Cloud really thought, was that he assumed Tifa was a goner and didn't have a chance. No concern at all. Try seeing the original game.
***** No real arguments there, cause I agree. Aeris x Zack was always a thing, even in the movie you see imagery of them together in the lifestream. but you have one thing wrong, Cloud never watched Zack die. Cloud was in a comatose like state when Zack got gunned down, Zack broke out of Hojo's lab carrying a brainfucked Cloud with him. Cloud was not mentally able to even understand what was going on. But dude, I must tell you, learn to do paragraphs. Don't do wall of text posts.
What amazes me is how Cloud, being only 16 at this point, through sheer will power and heart, was able to toss Sephiroth while having a sword through his chest. It makes me wonder why he's ashamed of himself for not making it in SOLDIER when he manhandled an elite like Sephiroth.
Here's the deal, Cloud essentially is the strongest SOLDIER there is, but he wasn't actually a SOLDIER because he lacked the mental strength required for it. Had he had that, he would've easily been a soldier, so its safe to say that Cloud exceeds any other SOLDIER in actuality
The part when Sephiroth "commits suicide" by launching himself into the lifestream is badly portrayed here. Cloud tossed him in every other media. Proof that he was pretty badass even before he was experimented with.
This scene could go perfectly in the lifestream moment, talking each other through the memory of the moment. The voice acting is perfect, you can sense the emotions of Cloud talking to Sephiroth, the pain of losing all by the hands of his hero model. The sweetness in the voice of Tifa, who also lost everything but his beloved, who is right there for her. Perfect, except for the change in how Sephiroth falls into the lifestream, I don't know why they took away this moment from Cloud. He defetead an already wounded Sephiroth, no jenova cells, no SOLDIER powers, just human heart, I liked it in that way.
This is so sweet and heartwarming but I think it's ultimately stronger in the original version where Tifa didn't know he was there for her until years later (but one of the best things about having all these different "Rashomon" versions in different media is that it makes the Nibelheim Incident feel even more nightmarish and uncanny and unknowable-A moment of true capital-H Horror happened in that reactor chamber, made all the more chilling by how its exact events can never be truly known).
@@ForceEdge47 For sure, or like, one of the whole themes of the Nibelheim Incident and Cloud & Tifa's whole arc together is the fallibility of memory and how the truth of what happened to you might not be fully knowable to you yourself (since on top of Cloud's whole deal, Tifa starts to second-guess her own memories as well, which is why she wants to observe Cloud), so maybe the ultimate point is that there can't be a final, omnisciently authoritative play-by-play of the Nibelheim Incident-All we have are people's conflicting memories that may or may not represent events in a way that's _more_ true, such as correcting Cloud & Zack's roles, but the night itself is ultimately a black box, all the more interestingly & excitingly full of nightmares for staying closed.
Our silver haired friend was stabbed in the back by a big ass sword. Many moons later he sees cloud potential love interest and tells us he took it personally
Cloud and Tifa have a very great backstory. Tifa fell from Mt Nibel and everyone blamed Cloud which is why they made the promise. Cloud joined SOLDIER to become stronger and Tifa didn't to know he came back because he wasn't a hero.
@@laurasteffan1998 I mean, the canon was reset so we'll see where their relationship ends up being at this point. We've got a first kiss in the Rebirth, so there's hope they'll end up together in the new timeline as well. Anyway, yes, in the OG timeline of Advent Children, Tifa and Cloud and living and working together in 7th Heaven with their adopted kid Denzel and Tifa has an engagement ring which can be seen in a couple scenes if you pay attention, so it is pretty much canon. It was a little ambiguous because of Cloud's survival guilt syndrome and him almost dying of geostigma which pretty much kills all of the vibe for most of the movie, but it all of the pieces are still there.
cloud the misleading edge lord who work his ass off to become 1st class solider to protect and impress tifa but it didn't matter to her because to tifa, cloud is her 1st rank solider
yeah agreed cloud threw him into a mako reactor..since nobody can survive those high concentration of mako everyone thought he died, he kind of did die but jenova revived him.
Exactly. This short takes that victory away from Cloud which is wrong. Also not sure if that was trace amounts of mako glow in his eyes, or what? Because Cloud didn't have mako at this point
i remember seeing this scene in the flashback in the game so many years ago and years later in this animated movie and love every moment, would love to see a live movie and with hopes they wouldn't mess it up either
I always shipped Cloud and Aeris at first but after the scene in the life stream where Tifa knew the real Cloud and then watching this cutscene. Hmm I've changed my mind.
Turn back now dude, its only a matter of time before Cloud x Aeris shippers throw facts and rub it in your face, you better be in the canon ship rather than the sunken ship, that is my CloTi
@@adamclark8994 well it always have been Aeris anyways......... Try saying CloTi related things and ClEris(or ClErith) will come barging on rubbing facts to your face But they arent wrong, since SE makes ClEris canon anyways......
I appreciate the fact where they showed that Sephiroth jumped into the lifestream, he didn't fall. I knew something seemed a miss when they showed in Crisis Core where it just looked like he fell. Now all they gotta do is explain where Cloud got this sudden boost of strength from, even while being fatilly wounded. Knowing the depth of everything there had to of been a reason...
+RamzaBeoulve02 Late response I know, but the canon ending is that Sephiroth took fatal wounds, but rather than die chose to throw himself directly into the lifestream with his "mother's" head. Since a part of him was alien he had the choice of not being absorbed into the life stream which he chose not to be and re manifested himself with a new body
+0Maloy1 Cool. I'd rather know late than never :) Thank you. So... in the game then, it was explained that Jenova clones were the ones that you fight. I didn't get that either. Care to explain? How did they seem to have the same memories, and how did we know that the one in ice was the real sephiroth?
RamzaBeoulve02 In Final Fantasy Crisis Core we see clones of the other superhuman heroes that were Sephiroth's friends(who had equal power with him at the most if not a bit weaker) basically they had clones as well and it was where they had their own cells injected into other people. People who are too weak are overwhelmed by it and so not only do they get super powers but they end up looking just like who they got it from. Cloud is actually a successful Sephiroth clone who had a strong enough will to not become a mindless copy. Copies also degenerate slowly and eventually just die. The real Sephiroth doesn't degenerate
+0Maloy1 Thank you again! ^_^ I think VII is my favorite game in the Final Fantasy series, with X coming a close second and Tactics a good 3rd. Having only beaten I , VII, VIII, IX, and X, I am currently playing VI on and off and have recently began playing VIII again, as I heard you can use Angelo Search randomly in fights to dig up good stuff and trying to utilize not leveling up until you can maximize on the Bonus stat ability that GFs use! Wheee!! Love Final Fantasy!
Cloud is not a Sephiroth clone. He was injected with Jenova cells. That's a whole different thing. The cloning thing was nothing but a mistranslation from the shitty FF7 translator. The real plot revolves around JENOVA and her cells being injected into people by Hojo. The mindless zombies with black cloaks you see are people who couldn't handle it. The reunion is the JENOVA infected people trying to return to JENOVAS body to make her whole again. Cloud also has JENOVA cells but he's able to withstand it. There are no clones in FF 7. The clones you think of are the clones of Genesis and Angeal in Crisis Core but that's a very different matter.
This scene is actually scary Cloud isn't that strong and his mentor and friend zack is injured and his ( idk love intrest / girlfriend ) is also injured and the person he looked up to has gone insane
Tifa vs Aerith? Really internet? is this what you argue about? Something i would prefer seeing people complaning about is how the old cloud was better (you know, before he went emo e_e)
BlackWingedSeraph oh, you got it wrong, i said i "would prefer", not saying they should. (as in, at least this isn't as bad of a discussion to read about) It's literally meant to be of something not so easily looped instead of something that's COMPLETELY personal taste (boobs or personality some would say) and could go on forever.
BlackWingedSeraph The thing is, in FF VII he is anything but depressed. Sure, he has some serious mental problems, but he doesn't have time to be depressed, so he isn't. He had been mindraped, he thinks he is another person through most of the game and when he re-discover himself he actually deals with it and keeps fighting against Sephs. What he doesn't do is complain or have pity of himself. Then it came KH and the movie. So yeah, the old Cloud and Crisis Core's Cloud were way better than the "new" Cloud. The exception would be Dissidia 012's Cloud. He was awesome in that game, too.
lenlimbo well, i haven't played a full FF7 game yet (i will someday... i hope...) but i've watched plenty of youtube videos to have a minimal opinion formed. And that opinion is: "Nevermind either clouds, my vote goes for Zack"
Sonny Firestorm Eh, in the original FF VII Zack was this guy that was Cloud's best friend in Soldier, the old boyfriend of Aerith and a first class Soldier. And that was pretty much what we knew about him. Well, that and the fact that he died trying to reach Midgar while dragging a comatose Cloud. It's in Crisis Core where we really discover who was Zack. And he is pretty much your average idiot hero. I like the guy, he is adorable and badass at the same time (there is a reason why half the cast in CC calls him puppy), but there are a ton of characters like him everywhere. Cloud was a refreshing kind of character untill SE (not squaresoft) decided to up his angst to the eleven power. He was okay in CC, though.
he did lol! S/E has confirmed multiple times that from the VII game that cloud and tifa - should we say - "rolled around" under the highwind, when cloud couldnt find the words to tell her he had always loved her from 8yrs old. tifa told him the famous line "Words aren't the only way to tell how you are feeling..." and then, without words, they expressed how they felt. just look up "Final Fantasy For The One I love" you'll see it, no worries. COTI FTW!
***** I saw Final Fantasy as kind of epic and magical like a Studio Ghibli film... I never liked that people see FF like some sort of action rock flick....
At first i thought of shipping cloud and Aerith but Cloud and Tifa are MEANT TOGETHER- Press read more if ya wanna get spoiled of ff7 remake In the remake they showed Zack alive Cloud can't steal Aerith😭
It's an anime adaptation of the flashback scene of when Zack, Sephiroth, Cloud and Tifa go to the Mako generator. from memory it's more of a 30 minute special
Aeri"s" liked Cloud because he remembered her so much of Zack. that's why during their date scene, she said she wanted to meet the real him. and knowing her abilities, I'm pretty sure she knew about his death comma because she has the ability to speak to the planet and Spirits who Return to the Planet. at the end of Crisis Core she has the feeling of him passing as well. so once she met cloud has resemblance to Zack was so much alike. that is what made her like him so much
@subject18blueknight What? You seriously misunderstood AC if that's what you think was going on. Cloud merely felt massive guilt over her both her death and Zack's. He felt responsible for them, being the only person that MIGHT have been able to stop it. His avoidance of fighting and self exile was down to the fear of failing to protect the ones he loves again, anyone, his friends, Tifa, Denzel, etc. It had nothing to do with loving Aerith at all.
Cloud got the mako energy after this. Hojo came and took him and Zack off for experiments, which resulted in Cloud suffering from Mako Poisoning and Zack's death trying to protect him.
i bought the dvd of this a couple years ago on ebay, was gutted to find out it was all in japanese with just subtitles and its only about half an hour or 20 mins long and it wasnt cheap lol
Vainth In all honesty, some women are just born with large breasts. That shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing if they have no control over genetics. Tifa was always covered and Aeris had more cleavage than Tifa. Fan service or not, if you take Tifa being busty as face value, ie she was just born to be that way, then the view point that her boobs are too big is pretty unfair.
Pretty cool how he dragged himself back on the ledge by pulling the sword through him, still liked the original version better tho. Power lifting the dude with half a sword buried in him and throwing him into the abyss like a boss.
I chose to describe our conversation while we fell.. But it seems as we've fallen to far for there to be any hope for us. No matter if we die. We will.. Never be a memory.
cloud's backstab on sephiroth ; Solved so perfectly they made it, cloud stabbed him from behind means; by luck he got supreme damage and since it's a backstab it means at least double amount damage so he must've hurt him really good! :D btw, a big big AWWWWWWWWWWWW too tifa
Kelsey Curles Do you call getting a sword though the chest and falling unconscious ditching? Because I don't and Zangan & Zack took Tifa & Cloud away from each other...

Q: Some parts we didn’t imagine from Aerith’s saying of “he’s my first love” in FF7 are depicted in CC. There are
many FF7 fans who’re pleased about it.
Nojima: The setting that “falling from the roof of the Church” repeats Aerith’s encounter with Cloud was decided in
the beginning. Though we’re talking about love, they are still young and there’s no time to describe “how they
become fond of each other” in the game. So I made it like “falling into a sudden crush.” Personally, the setting
that Aerith’s “how about one date” to Cloud in FF7 reappears in Zack’s lines is the greatest joy to me. Even though
this line was casually placed in FF7, I care a bit about the saying that “it was thoughtless of her to say that.” The
way of having Aerith receive Zack’s words is a defense for her. (Crisis Core Ultimania, p. 579)

***** Cloud and Tifa live together still as friends in ACC. Cloud was invited by Marlene into their family of friends. As stated by Tifa in her novel. The family of friends was started by Marlene and Barrett. Then Marlene included Cloud into their family. Cloud can't let go of his undying feelings he has for Aerith, because he doesn't want to, nor should anyone force him to do so.
www.clerith.heliohost.org/CoT%20Analysis.htm
If you watch Advent Children again, you'll see, Zack walks ahead of Aerith while she lingers a little longer, smiling back at Cloud, as he smiles a true and real smile towards her. Zack offers to keep Aerith company, as he gets tired, (Aerith can't get tired that easily, because she is from the Cetra race) Aerith again denies his flirting advances, saying, "Only if I get really lonely, goodnight Zack." +HTakara82 Ikr they are so frustrating to deal with
+HTakara82 Hate to burst your bubble, but Cloud didn't love Tifa. He fancied her as a child, but long forgot about her and their "promise under the stars" this scene is too blown out of proportion and what Cloud really thought, was that he assumed Tifa was a goner and didn't have a chance. ***** No real arguments there, cause I agree. Aeris x Zack was always a thing, even in the movie you see imagery of them together in the lifestream.

What amazes me is how Cloud, being only 16 at this point, through sheer will power and heart, was able to toss Sephiroth while having a sword through his chest. It makes me wonder why he's ashamed of himself for not making it in SOLDIER when he manhandled an elite like Sephiroth.
You're overthinking
Here's the deal, Cloud essentially is the strongest SOLDIER there is, but he wasn't actually a SOLDIER because he lacked the mental strength required for it. Had he had that, he would've easily been a soldier, so its safe to say that Cloud exceeds any other SOLDIER in actuality
Cloud might not have gotten into SOLDIER and became a regular grunt, but he was more of a hero in this scene than Zack and Sephiroth combined ^^
Two characters with chemistry between them. That's how couples work.
The part when Sephiroth "commits suicide" by launching himself into the lifestream is badly portrayed here. Cloud tossed him in every other media. Proof that he was pretty badass even before he was experimented with.
Tifa and cloud forever
I agree. The rest of the story doesn’t really make sense if she knew he was there. She could have just forgotten this exchange, though.
This is childhood love ❤️
I like Clerith but I cannot deny that Cloud and Tifa have a wonderful relationship
Cloud and Tifa have a very great backstory.
Tifa fell from Mt Nibel and everyone blamed Cloud which is why they made the promise. Cloud joined SOLDIER to become stronger and Tifa didn't to know he came back because he wasn't a hero.
Cloud and Tifa is like saying Ryu and Chun-Li. It’s such good chemistry and a relationship
We all love tifa
So good to see them move in together, work together and get engaged in advent children. It's so rewarding after their romance in the original game.
Wait it's official??? They got engaged???
@@mitromneywas it a engagement ring? I believe she wore it on her right hand so that makes it a promise ring.

Nice animations but sorry, Cloud killed Sephiroth, he didn't just jump in willingly.
No Cloud didn't, Cloud defeated Sephiroth and threw him in to the lifestream but he never killed him. Guess that's just specifics though :p
Well, judging by what the Lifestream is, and what it does.....
He may as well have died.
Axel Voss It wasn't actually the lifestream now that I think about it, it was mako. He got crystallized in it so he was only unconscious.
yeah agreed cloud threw him into a mako reactor..since nobody can survive those high concentration of mako everyone thought he died, he kind of did die but jenova revived him.
Exactly. This short takes that victory away from Cloud which is wrong. Also not sure if that was trace amounts of mako glow in his eyes, or what? Because Cloud didn't have mako at this point
I had no idea they animated the game i love it
Still think this is where Sephiroth was at his best, both in the game and anime.

Awwwww, Cloud is such a sweetheart.
Canon couple
I still get frustrated when I see that the game and this movie do not agree on how Sephiroth met his temporary end.
I'd rather know late than never :)
Thank you.
So... in the game then, it was explained that Jenova clones were the ones that you fight. I didn't get that either. Care to explain? How did they seem to have the same memories, and how did we know that the one in ice was the real sephiroth?
RamzaBeoulve02
In Final Fantasy Crisis Core we see clones of the other superhuman heroes that were Sephiroth's friends(who had equal power with him at the most if not a bit weaker) basically they had clones as well and it was where they had their own cells injected into other people.
I think VII is my favorite game in the Final Fantasy series, with X coming a close second and Tactics a good 3rd.

This scene is actually scary
Cloud isn't that strong and his mentor and friend zack is injured and his ( idk love intrest / girlfriend ) is also injured and the person he looked up to has gone insane
Tifa vs Aerith? Really internet? is this what you argue about? Something i would prefer seeing people complaning about is how the old cloud was better (you know, before he went emo e_e)
How is Cloud emo? The stuff he is depressed about seems reasonable to me.
BlackWingedSeraph oh, you got it wrong, i said i "would prefer", not saying they should. (as in, at least this isn't as bad of a discussion to read about)
It's literally meant to be of something not so easily looped instead of something that's COMPLETELY personal taste (boobs or personality some would say) and could go on forever.
I wish there was an FF anime covering all FFs
So cloud IS capable of smiling. What a twist
COTI FTW!
whah...i love cloud and tifa 4 ever because f them i start liking final fantasy series

Yes! I love this scene. ♥
"Don't push it kid"
I fucking love sephiroth
Aeri"s" liked Cloud because he remembered her so much of Zack. that's why during their date scene, she said she wanted to meet the real him. and knowing her abilities, I'm pretty sure she knew about his death comma because she has the ability to speak to the planet and Spirits who Return to the Planet. at the end of Crisis Core she has the feeling of him passing as well. so once she met cloud has resemblance to Zack was so much alike. that is what made her like him so much
That and the sword..
I can't believe they took that badass kill away from Cloud
OH SH*T THAT FF7 THEME HOLY SH*T F*CK YES WOOOHOOOOO

Vainth In all honesty, some women are just born with large breasts. That shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing if they have no control over genetics. Tifa was always covered and Aeris had more cleavage than Tifa. Fan service or not, if you take Tifa being busty as face value, ie she was just born to be that way, then the view point that her boobs are too big is pretty unfair.
