Sir,first electron affinity is positive or negative. Confused in periodic classification of elements class n.o 6 (electron affinity) and in chemical bonding class n.o 3 (lattice energy )
In most of the elements it is negative but in some elements like Nitrogen and Magnesium it is positive.
