So, based on what I've seen in Toy Stores over here, Schleich mostly makes animal figurines (not so much people) which I suspect is why they've included the pets and even the other beasts like the troll and the three-headed dog cause they're closer to the animals they normally make than the human figures are

They have a ton of different types of toys, animals, characters, etc. They have been a staple for my children’s toys for years! We’re huge Schleich fans. I’m not surprised by the quality of this advent calendar at all, I would expect nothing less from them!

Schleich was literally my childhood! 🥰 They are known for their realistic animal figures, especially their horses I’d say. The humans were never that great, but it was clear that it wasn’t their focus and the fairies were surprisingly well done back then. If I’m not mistaken they were all hand-painted then, not sure if they still are but I would guess so ☺️ When I saw the new Harry Potter figures in store for the first time I knew I would have loved them as a child. Especially Buckbeak and the Thestral (it would have looked so cute with my unicorn and pegasus 🥺) Lots of love from Germany! ✨
The 1:1 scale means that the size of the characters on the box are the same size as the figurines inside, and not necessarily completely accurate to how the sizes would be in real life. I think the figures are lovely! And it made me so happy that they actually gave Harry black hair!

I will say I absolutely loved this. I would have loved playing with these as a kid. Also, I loved how they changed it up and put different creatures in and not just characters. Loved that they had Fang and Hagrid.
I love the diversity on this, most advent calendars forget a lot of creatures and props of the series like the deathly hallows, the goblet of fire, books, the basilisk, the chamber of secrets entrance, the whomping willow, the remembrall, the philosopher’s stone, even tons of the creatures from the fantastic beasts saga, i hope the other advent calendars start improving this aspect instead of repeating the same items over and over again

This calendar looked really fun and yeah they should of added some more characters we all know and love fingers crossed Schleich makes another one for next year with other characters that wasn't in this year's one plus Aragog does look like a real spider not a big fan of him but the others did look cool and cutie. Maybe they should do an Advent Calendar per Harry Potter Book/Film now that would be cool to see even with different characters that are not in every book/film. 🎄💙

Awe, I love Schleich. 💖 My son has many of their animals and I actually do have the full size Hungarian Horntail! It is even nicer than the small one you've got from the calendar. Harry Potter and the Philosophers sausage 😂😂😂😂 This wasn't a bad advent calendar. I got ripped off on Amazon paid £15 for a calendar that you can get for £6 at B and M 😂
Really like this one! And i honestly live the fact they included creatures you usually don't see get included. The paint jobs on most of them actually looks pretty good for how small they are as well. I think the only one I didn't like was Luna, ahe just looked worse than the others and idk, I would have preferred a character like Neville maybe.

I quite like the variety of characters. I feel like most calendars and mystery boxes tend to stick to the same ones. I love seing the Minerva, Fluffy, Nagini, Scabbers and even Aragog (although, I hate it, too)!

this was a great calendar, different items everyday and i love the unusual figures too. the only thing i didn't like was luna. she's my favourite character and they gave her a bad eyebrow job haha but apart from that. loved it! thanks for showing us ♥
I honestly think this is one of the best HP calendars out there. Very displayable. Very playable. (I believe they have more HP characters made, just not in the calendar so you could keep collecting them). There were some paint issues, but overall I think they are pretty good quality too. Especially if you compare this to other HP advent calendars (looking at you Cinereplicas!)
This is a pretty good one. I liked all the figures and making them scale to each other is pretty cool. Some of the faces are questionable LOL but oh well. Can't wait for the next one!! Thanks Cherry❤❤
schleich are famous for the hyper realistic animal figurines. I've got a t-rex mom and her baby t-rex, my sister had a velociraptor. They can move their jaws and you can make them hold something in it. lol We sometimes take them with us on holidays and stage funny photos with them (like making them eat something at a restaurant).
